great food great hospitality, and the customers are all locals! They know their stuff! The meat is all tender and juicy with that charcoal grill flavour. And the dessert is superb as will! The good taste so hard after a day of fasting . And my bf says it’s good even that he’s not that hungry! And with the history and inside the mosque, a must try in London! And great value as well

Let me tell you guys, I have been to so many restaurants around the Europe and I have never everbin my entire life tasted something batter than this food over here. The service was quick, the food looked way better than I even expected, the staff so nice and polite and at the end I was offered a Turkish tea which fitted perfectly after the meal. The portion size was massive and I definitely after this experience am going to book that trip to Turkey adter years of wanting to. This is the biggest recommendation I can give to anyone who wants to try something new and oriental while stayibg in London. You wont regret anything for sure!

I came here today after meaning to come here a long time ago. I only heard good things about this place, and finally got to come here. The food was absolutely amazing. We got the platter to share between 4, so we got to taste abig of everything. The starters was also great. We were hungry, so we finished the bread from the starters pretty quickly. They noticed it and gave us more bread, which they kept topping up through the whole time we were there (they don’t charge extra for that). We also ordered a couple lahmacuns too, which was the best lahmacun I’ve ever had! The food there was 10/10! The place was very clean and tidy too. We got a Turkish tea at the end too, and the gentleman serving us offered more tea, even after we paid already.

We come to Aziziye Restaurant ever since I was young, due to them serving halal food without the option of alcohol, so a Halal Alcohol-Free Restaurant. The food is delicious and never failed us when we bring guests in. Unfortunately there was a 15% to 25% increase on the menu, excluding the 10% room service, that’s mad! If the increase had the room service included that would be understandable.

Tasty food with Turkish peaceful ambience. We were seating in one of the rooms where you sit on cushions on the floor. The room provides privacy and coziness. The Turkish tea at the end of our meals were great too. I highly recommend the mix kebab and the ayran! The mosque upstairs is perfect too, ensuring you don't miss out on obligations.

Food was really good, didn’t have to wait long at all, we got the Platter mixed grill for 2 people. It came as a selection of grilled meats on a bed of rice; chicken shish, lamb shish, chops, wings, ribs and kefta, along with a really nice green salad and a selection of sides such as hummus, cacik, and ezme which were delicious! It was a lot of food for us and we couldn’t finish it! Service was great. We enjoyed our private area sitting on the comfy floor sofas in our booth. There are different sized booths depending on how large your group/family is. Would definitely recommend and will be returning InShaaAllah. Also useful to have the masjid attached- just make sure you get there before the end of Isha prayer as the masjid does close after that time.

Yelp
WHAT a discovery!!! i've found this restaurant while attending an event in a nearby pub a few months ago, but was only able to try it in august. It's a very traditional turkish restaurant INSIDE a mosque! As such you are not allowed to have alcoholic drinks and also you cannot bring alchool inside (i've asked). The service is very friendly, the food is fantastic and the prices are VERY affordable. They also have "walled rooms" with cushions instead of chairs: when i reserved the place they initially offered us this kind of place, but it was a bit uncomfortable so we asked to use table and chairs.

Yelp
My professor took our class here to experience an authentic Turkish meal. It was a large group of about 30 of us which is understandably challenging to serve. The staff did a good job accommodating such a large group. We started with a naan type bread and a hummus and tzatziki sauce. Our first batch of bread was cold but the second round was warm and delicious. I then had a chicken kebab plate with rice and vegetables. All very delicious! Glad I got lead to an authentic meal. It was a whole experience because you are seated in walled off booths on cushions close to the ground and have to take your shoes off.

Yelp
This is quite possibly the best place to have a turkish meal in London and until quite recently it was one of the cheapest too. Do no miss their Findik lahmacun or fried mincemeat balls with cheese inside. When you do the booking bear in mind that there are two seating areas. The cabins; which are areas inclosed by a one and a half meters wooden wall where you set on the floor (with some cushions), the other option is normal tables. Also the restuarant is in a mosque so no alcohol is served. Also getting to the restuarant is not easy if you don't know the place, The address is for the mosque with its distinctive blue tiles and shop. next to it (south side) there is an entrance that can fit a car, walk through it and get through the second door to your right.

Yelp
When I say rubbish service by that I mean tables that came after us were served food first although we ordered before them while they were just bieng seated. When the food eventually arrived 45 mins late, the Lahmachun was cold, the Pide was not only cold but the meat filling was meagre. the Aziziye Special had nothing special about it there wasn't enough for two people. one lamb chop & one skewered kebab is hardly a meal for two!
