I made a review on June 6, 2023 with 5 Stars complementing this establishment on how good their food is.
Their Wet Burrito is BOMB.COM and also their Quesadilla's are really good too! I have no complaints on how their food tastes. The quality is SPOT ON. During that time, the service was really a good experience from the management / staff since we always would come and spend a good amount of money for quality tacos / burritos and the wait time wasn't all that bad considering the amount of tacos / burritos they had to make. Came back about 8-10 more times spending more than $50+ aside from tips.
Here's an update on my review:
Fast forward to this year 2025, I haven't been back since March and noticed the lack of customer service and wait times on getting our food.
We ordered our food during lunch time (and yes, we know how busy lunch time gets) and was told that there would be a wait time of about 20-25 minutes. Ok, sure. So we ordered our food, paid for it PLUS a 18% tip of about $10 (on a take-out order) with a long line behind us. 20 minutes came and our food wasn't ready.
As we were waiting, we noticed that the people who ordered behind us were getting their food before us I guess because they were "dined-in". Even after we waited the 20+ minutes, people came in to order and they got their food before us too! And what tops it off is they ordered the same foods as us!!!
FINALLY, after waiting for about 45 minutes, we finally get our "take-out".
Now, I'm a pretty patient person but I told the cashier that it's messed up that everyone else got their food before us who stood behind us and ordered after us. Even the guy who was sitting down eating noticed the same thing. He said "you guys was here before me and only now you getting your food?"
We watched 4 groups of people not only who were standing behind us-but got get their food before us, dined-in, FINISHED their food and LEFT before we got ours.
As a former waitress / cashier who worked in hospitality for years, I can definitely say the service was very disappointing. The first thing I would do if I told a customer the wait time would be 20-25 minutes is time it, if the time is almost at its 20 min mark, I would definitely 'apologize' to the customer and check how the order is doing in the back to get an ETA and let the customer know- at the very least.
No apology from the cashier. Only "thank you for waiting..." Only the cook who came out apologized to us.
Tiffany tried to justify a reason on how / why everyone else got their food before us but I wouldn't let her finish because she knows she was wrong for that! Yes, I called out her name because she tried to justify the delay. If she didn't say anything regarding justification, I would have kept her name out of this review.
Do better with training your employees on customer service!
Again, the food is phenominal but I'm not sure if we'll be coming back because of how the service made us feel.
