I had an incredible experience at Azumi. The food was top-notch, with fresh, expertly prepared and a rich, flavorful ramen that stood out as the highlight. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfectly complementing the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience seamless. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine in Rio de Janeiro!

FOREIGNERS STAY AWAY: this place was nice but we both had extreme food sickness a few hours after the meal. It was definitely the fish, as we only had a meal that day. Service also felt a bit rushed, we were in and out in 40 minutes. If you are not from the region, I would absolutely avoid this restaurant, though the servers were nice.

The most traditional Japanese restaurant in Rio, reopened on my favorite neighborhood . Alissa, the owner, makes sure her family tradition lives on. A must visit!

Best ramen I ever had, the broth was mind blowing. Don’t forget to add some of their pimenta powder to give it a spicy kick. I haven’t had their sushi so can’t comment on that, will be back for more ramen though. Prices are at par with US standards.

The sushi was ordinary with a high price. The place had a lack of space. We thought we would try it because it was new. The sashimi were small and not of good quality. We will never eat there again. Suibi a few blocks further down Dias de Ferreira is so much better.

The Japanese were the owners of this restaurant ,but clearly a new owner is not, I can tell. I ordered Edo Nigiri Sushi for R$120 . What I got ? 8 Salmon Nigiri, 1 Salmon Roll, and 1 Cucumber roll. that is it. actually those are not aesthetically beautiful but looks weird.( because only orange color) One miserable dish if front of me. This dish is no good. I felt that they are going to save money by ripping off customers. I felt ashamed of your practice. I understand that This restaurant is located at very exclusive and affluent part of the City, Leblon. The rent must be enormous I guess. Please start make decent sushi or do something, or raise prices. Folks in this area does not care how expensive it is. Probably I had to pay at least R$300 to get decent Sushi at this premise. So I was still hungry at the time when I left this place , I headed to Deusimar Sushi around the corner( literary a hole in a wall place). With R$92, 20 pieces of sushi include Tuna , California Roll, and much more. I do not understand why you are so highly rated. probably only rich persons who can spend anything at their disposable are your customers.

Argiably the best authentic Japanese in Rio. Superb decor, inside and outside dining, excellent drinks list and superb nigiri and Sashimi. The food was beautifully presented and fresh. Truly enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic sushi restaurant, very high quality preparation and ingredients. Delicious flavours and a friendly atmosphere. We’re definitely going again.
