Azumi

It was sad to see the disaster that was tonight. We were told a short wait until we can sit inside and that we can order appetizers in the mean time. Miso soup took 1 hour to arrive, chicken was dry without the sauce. Then seated at 1.15 hours and I we ordered just raw sushi which took another hour to arrive. I saw half the customers complaining that orders weren’t placed and extra wait times. All while delivery orders weren’t flying out the door. Don’t forget it was over priced and the variety was no better than any other Brazilian sushi.

I had an incredible experience at Azumi. The food was top-notch, with fresh, expertly prepared and a rich, flavorful ramen that stood out as the highlight. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfectly complementing the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience seamless. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine in Rio de Janeiro!

Incredibly disappointing, bad value for money; prawn tempura was good but the sushi ohmakase plate was mostly inedible not fresh tasting fish. We felt like we were being served the worst fish in the house as we saw there were better options at the sushi bar on the way out. The staff showed no care or interest in complaints or request for refund. So here we are.

WARNING - BAD QUALITY FISH. Worst fish I ever had along with bad service. I hope I don’t end up with food poisoning tonight. They display good looking fish but they don’t serve it. The biggest disappointment of a restaurant.

Best ramen I ever had, the broth was mind blowing. Don’t forget to add some of their pimenta powder to give it a spicy kick. I haven’t had their sushi so can’t comment on that, will be back for more ramen though. Prices are at par with US standards.

Absolutely fantastic sushi restaurant, very high quality preparation and ingredients. Delicious flavours and a friendly atmosphere. We’re definitely going again.

This restaurant has authentic japanese dishes. Rio has other better japanese restaurants, but this one offers good food for the prices they charge. The place is kind of old, but it is clean. I recommend it for a good lunch, but not a place to impress your spouse.
