During our trip from Switzerland to Serbia, we stayed at Azur Rooms for one night so we wouldn’t have to drive the whole way without sleep. We arrived around midnight, so we only met Loti the next morning. From the very first moment, she was incredibly kind and welcoming. She even told us she was sad that we missed breakfast. We explained how long our journey had been and that we still had a long drive ahead, which was why we slept a bit longer.
We accidentally forgot a beanie in the room. As soon as Loti noticed, she contacted me and told me she could keep it for us. I explained that we would only return about a week later and that we were already in Croatia. She said it was no problem at all and that we could simply pick it up when we came back.
On our return trip, we decided to stay with her again because we liked the place and her warm, friendly personality so much. She knew how long our journey was and kindly gave us a late check-out, which was extremely helpful. Especially for me, this meant a lot, because while we were driving through Croatia, I found out that my godfather had passed away, and I was not feeling well emotionally.
When we arrived, the beanie we had forgotten was already placed nicely in our room. Loti noticed that we were still sleeping at 9 a.m. and sent us a message saying she would leave breakfast in front of our door so we would have something to eat. In that difficult moment, she truly felt like an angel to me.
I can only highly recommend this accommodation. Loti is incredibly warm-hearted. I have never had such a beautiful and positive experience in rooms or hotels, even though I have traveled a lot. Five stars are honestly not enough.
Thank you for everything, Loti. We will definitely stay with you again.
