We had dinner at Azure on two consecutive evenings, and it was an experience worth detailing. The oyster selection was excellent — fresh, varied and beautifully presented. The market fish and the red meat dishes were outstanding, cooked exactly to the requested temperature and paired with delicious sides that truly elevated the plate. Some dishes, however, fell short of expectations. The chicken was the biggest disappointment — it arrived without the Marsala sauce indicated on the menu, and the seasoning was practically nonexistent. Without the richness and depth promised, it became a dish with no character at all. What prevented the evening from turning into frustration was the service. Patricia, our waitress, handled everything with genuine professionalism. She listened, acknowledged the issues, and worked to find a solution that allowed us to still enjoy our night. That level of care is what you hope to find in a restaurant of this calibre. Desserts were pleasant but nothing exceptional — good enough to finish the meal but not memorable or aligned with the expectations created by the restaurant’s reputation. Azure has strong highlights in its seafood and grills, and the service was good. With some refinement in consistency, seasoning and accuracy between the menu and what is delivered, it has the potential to meet the standard its name suggests.

The starters, steaks, sides and the service was brilliant but the desert was not okay. The matcha/coconut ice cream with honeydew should not be on the menu in that form. Just not it.

We are here a few times over the weekend and it was a mix. Dinner is definitely poor and the food and atmosphere very average. It calls itself an international experience but only pricing is international. I had the fish of the day (snapper) for dinner which was dry and rubbery in the worst seafood brisque sauce I’ve ever tasted - basically had to remove edible components to avoid the sauce. Pontiac fries were boiled potatoes finished off with some baking. Kids had pizza which was ok if you stuck to Margherita. No one at the table was left happy. Breakfast buffet options are limited but the venue is lovely by day given the beautiful open setting and greenery. Best to stick to the eggs station as the omelettes were great. Highlight of our culinary adventure was the central otago Pinot Noir. Dinner was 2/5 and Breakfast 3.5/5.

Very relaxing and peaceful space for when the main town Byron gets too much! (trust me, it can, during school holidays) Service was a tad slow and distracted, but we didn't mind. We enjoyed being left alone for a bit. Our food was enjoyable.

We dined here at lunchtime during our Elements stay. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the black garlic and lemon chicken linguine and the seafood spaghetti. The food and drinks were definitely pricy. It makes sense as it is a part of the resort. The restaurant is a little bit hot during summer but that was my only real issue. Thank goodness our table was under a fan 😅

Consistently good food here be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Best arancini I have ever tasted and the steak and pea risotto are highly recommended as well. Perfect if you want to stay in the resort and not having to go out for food. Service can be a tad more attentive though.

Azure Bar & Grill, Elements of Byron Really nice restaurant at Elements, we dined there as part of our anniversary celebrations. Thank you to the staff for the special touch you provided. Again, I forgot to take photos, clearly I was on holidays. #AzureBar&Grill #ElementsOfByron
