We had dinner at Azure on two consecutive evenings, and it was an experience worth detailing. The oyster selection was excellent — fresh, varied and beautifully presented. The market fish and the red meat dishes were outstanding, cooked exactly to the requested temperature and paired with delicious sides that truly elevated the plate.
Some dishes, however, fell short of expectations. The chicken was the biggest disappointment — it arrived without the Marsala sauce indicated on the menu, and the seasoning was practically nonexistent. Without the richness and depth promised, it became a dish with no character at all.
What prevented the evening from turning into frustration was the service. Patricia, our waitress, handled everything with genuine professionalism. She listened, acknowledged the issues, and worked to find a solution that allowed us to still enjoy our night. That level of care is what you hope to find in a restaurant of this calibre.
Desserts were pleasant but nothing exceptional — good enough to finish the meal but not memorable or aligned with the expectations created by the restaurant’s reputation.
Azure has strong highlights in its seafood and grills, and the service was good. With some refinement in consistency, seasoning and accuracy between the menu and what is delivered, it has the potential to meet the standard its name suggests.
