The Best Things to Do in Palm Springs

"Fifteen minutes northeast of downtown Palm Springs is the hamlet of Desert Hot Springs, whose name makes the top attraction clear. Among the handful of natural mineral spring spa-hotels here is the Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa Oasis, new to the scene in 2021 after a full overhaul of an older property. Compared with larger resort-spas in the vicinity, Azure’s more relaxed, personal vibes stand out. There are 40 hotel rooms, but the day-spa experience (available 8am to 8pm) delivers the right dose of tranquility without an overnight stay, with good rates that are discounted with a spa treatment or day package. Plan ample time before or after a treatment to make good use of the luxurious hot springs here, since this town’s world-famous mineral water is really the essence of your visit. Azure’s modest desert site is surrounded by mountains, and its magic conjures a sense of connection to the landscape, the unending sky, and the free-flowing natural hot mineral water. Soak it all up." - Kelsy Chauvin

Absolutely beautiful stay to celebrate Birthday in Azure hotel. Bottle of Champagne and Happy Birthday card was waiting for me in elegantly decorated room. Pools and grounds are breathtaking with attention to detail. Staff on all levels wonderfully attentive and taking true interest in visitors best interest and safety. Cafe/restaurant serving delicious and very healthy food! Everything about this resort saying of tranquility and relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I took in the day pass for $70 which gives access to several mineral pools, many of which are small, quaint and under cabanas. The pass also includes other spa experiences like a reflexology water walk, dry sauna, and larger soaking pool. The views, natural desert landscaping. cleanliness, and hospitality were the best. And their little cafe has healthy and delicious options. I can’t wait to return and experience this magical and peaceful oasis again. Highly recommended.

I went to Azure Resort on may 10,2025 , it was Amazing, my whole experience there was beautiful. The staff and service were fantastic and friendly and professional. The prices just right, I will be going back ASAP. I went into the beautiful boutique and meet and amazing woman the owner I believe named Taryn. Her spirit lit up the boutique and has I looked around I could see her in every single piece there . Beautiful and kind and wonderful made. I bought some goodies the quality and prices were good. My room was larger than I expected and the cafe was a delight. My spa services was amazing I am highly recommending the Azure resort and Spa Thanks to all the staff that keep this place amazing

Beautiful spa facility!! They have five lovely natural hot springs at around 102-104 degrees. They're rustic feeling but well maintained and comfortable. There is also a large pool and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Perfect temperature. Clean and relaxing. They have lounge chairs surrounding the pool for relaxing. The grounds have a natural desert landscape with a beautiful view of the mountains. There is a reflexology walk on stones that is nice for the feet. Plenty of saunas to relax in. We did the day pass with a treatment. One facial and one salt scrub. I did the ginger and lime salt scrub. Amazing oasis for a day of relaxation.

Stayed here with a bunch of friends last week and the price was right for sure. It’s about 25 minutes outside Palm Springs. The mineral pools were really nice. Really enjoyed the Himalayan salt room, which is open 24 hours a day. The food was very good in the café and the accommodations are fine. Could use a little updating, but they were clean towels service every day and the staff was helpful. Spa is simple but I had the BEST scrub and massage by Sylvia

Google
I got the day pass which is 70 dollars for the day 9am to 7pm. I highly recommend that you purchase it the pool and spas were absolutely amazing they also give you a locker, robe and slippers free of charge to use. The cafe is spectacular and the service was top notch. I highly recommend if you are wanting to enjoy some peace and quiet that you come here. Also note I went on a weekday and there was only a handful of people there.

Me and my wife stayed here for Valentines Day for two nights and we had the best time. It was pretty pricey but was worth every penny. The Spa area was so well designed and peaceful and the free flowing pools were very intimate and still private despite them all being close to each other. The Tubs in the room were amazing as well as the water as advertised taste delicious straight out of the tap. My only complaint was no TV in the room but that allowed us more quality time together when in our room and not enjoying the amenities. You will not want to leave this place but when you have to you will leave feeling extremely rejuvenated and refreshed.

Pre-booked on a road trip through America and we knew as soon as we arrived this wasn't the place for us!!|In what appears to be a less than salubrious part of town by all appearances the hotel/spa stands out as being a bit shabby but trying to keep up appearances. ||So we checked in asked about parking out front to offload our luggage. Bearing in mind we are doing a road trip (kinda route 66 ish) and from the UK you would have thought a luxury wellness place of this apparent standing would have offered assistance considering the amount of luggage we have. Nope! Watched us struggle with our cases and not an offer to hold a door open. Keep your Himalayan salt treatment just offer some quality customer service!||The room was ok but sooo very tired. Whoever decorated needs glasses (go to room 108 and sit in the bathroom and check the gloss painting!)|The shower head is not full adjustable so if you don't want to wash your hair as well as shower then good luck.||Good luck working out the aircon/ceiling fan controls as well especially with no in-room instruction guide. Press all of the buttons and hope it stops or starts!||OK so they choose not to have a TV in the rooms - that's fine I have my MacBook but no phone calls in communal areas - really? I am 58 not 18 and don't need a hotel I am paying for to tell me what I can and cannot do!||The smell of Joss sticks was the final straw for me. The smell floods through the reception lobby down through the room corridors and is frankly nauseating.||So let's cut to the chase. If you want the sense of being at a mindfulness retreat with the A listers on a Z lister budget come here. If you want to actually enjoy your stay - go stay at a La Quinta or Marriot and at least have the pleasure of enjoying the money you spent with good service and not a scent of Patchouli oil thank goodness.||"Should I stay or should I Go" asked The Clash once. The answer is Iron Maiden "Run To The Hills" Neither stay nor go - just stay clear!||Oh and as a by the by - if you have guests who smoke cigarettes maybe asking them to smoke on the side walk in front of the hotel right in front of the hotel sign is possibly poor marketing for anyone passing by. Maybe, just maybe, think outside outside of the puritanical box and provide a private secluded area that gives a respectful comfortable place and doesn't show the hotel with cigarette ends littered all over the front entrance. Just a marketing thought?!? ||Gimme a minute - I am just having a manifestation moment - yep get us back to Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico or Arizona and fast track me through here. Beam Me Up Scotty!!!!||PS no photos really could not be bothered.

Yelp
This is the perfect, relaxing location for rejuvenation and restoring your peace. The rooms are amazing with an in-room personal spa tub to soak up the amazing mineral waters of the area - it makes your skin feel so silky smooth! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love it here and will definitely be returning soon!

Yelp
Azure Palm Hot Springs gets a 5 Star! We enjoyed every moment and it began with our greeting from Del. He was kind, helpful, informative and really cared about our experience at the Oasis! From Del it went to the cafe filled with warm smiles amazing service and yummy cappuccinos and delicious food! The boutique is filled with beautiful, one of a kind affordable pieces and clothing. The sound bath was a must do and it started our experience off with a relaxing one of a kind experience. You must book ahead of time! Well worth it! Then the massage! Mercedes gave me one of the best I have ever had! Add on the collagen! Oh my gosh... The Oasis and meditation areas are so peaceful and inviting. From beginning to end I thank my friend for the recommendation, I thank my friend for having a birthday so we could plan this and I thank our sisters for coming along on the "sister birthday experience"! Im most definitely sharing about this beautifully unique place and we will return!

Yelp
Booked this place for a bachelorette party after seeing positive reviews and decided to go with day passes. Overall, I had a mixed experience here. The staff here are kind and respectful and come around regularly to check in and see if you need anything. The resort itself is beautiful and the ambiance really does feel like an oasis in the desert. The pool was a comfortable temperature and had many shaded day beds to relax on around it. That said, the amenities for day pass guests are pretty limited. You only get access to the pool, a few hot soaking tubs, and the indoor sauna/jacuzzi. There is a salt room and an ice room but they are reserved for overnight guests. Unfortunately, our experience was seriously impacted by another group of guests who were being loud and racially hostile. After the management made a general announcement for everyone to use indoor voices, I believe they thought that we were the ones who complained about them even though we were told to be quiet too. They walked by us and flipped us off and we overheard them making racist comments about how we were Asian in the changing room to a manager. I'm not sure if the group left or was asked to leave, but we never received any kind of acknowledgment or apology from the staff. It left us feeling unwelcome/uncomfortable and we ended up leaving after just three hours. It's a beautiful space with potential for a relaxing day, but this experience made it hard to enjoy. I hope the management will take steps to better protect their guests moving forward.

Yelp
I wish I could separate my experience between staff and facilities and accommodations. But here's my review of all that makes it a average of 3 stars. I would give 5 stars to Yesenia with her friendliness and spa treatments, all are excellent. I would also give 5 stars to the grounds and facilities, from the pool to soaking tubs and salt room, all very nice. I would give 4 stars to my accommodations because I did not stay in the top tier rooms with the mineral soaking tubs, I think they are the best level to purchase if your budget allows. I would give 2 stars for the customer service if you call them over the phone to ask questions or book spa appointments. They need more training. The first person I spoke with was just fine, very friendly and helpful. But I needed to think about it. However, when I called back to ask another questions and book a appointment, she hung up on me mid sentence, I called back to ask what happened? She saw the persons name who spoke with me but offered no explanation. I booked the appointment with the 3rd person who's demeanor was so flat, I felt like I was bothering her. When I thanked her and said goodbye, she just hung up on me. This is unacceptable as a business dealing with the public.

Yelp
Spent a Thursday afternoon enjoying the hot springs and spa services at Azure Palm Hot Springs. The weather was mild and it wasn't too crowded. The building and grounds are clean and beautiful. We were assigned lockers with slippers and comfy robes inside. As others have noted, the slippers were too small, but another guest told us we could exchange them at the front desk for a larger size. We just wore our own sandals. The first thing we did was soak in one of the hot mineral water tubs. The water temperature was perfect. We shared the tub with a nice couple who were quite chatty. I wanted to soak in silence, but they were so friendly and charming I can't complain. My sister and I then had Swedish massages. We both thought they were excellent. My massage therapist, Maria, was very professional and had a firm touch. She really worked on my feet and upper back, which I loved. My sister had a male massage therapist, Paul, and said he did a particularly good job on her feet and hands. We went to the cafe and picked up a light lunch to eat outside in a shady area. I had an avocado chicken wrap that tasted fresh and delicious, yummy blue tortilla chips, apple juice, and a slice of banana bread. My sister had the Harvest Delight salad and a mesquite cookie. She enjoyed both. After lunch she went for a swim in the large swimming pool while I went for another soak in a different mineral water tub. She said the pool was too cool and didn't swim for very long. I felt fortunate to have a tub all to myself, but the water was so hot I could only soak in it for about five minutes. I then tried to relax on a lounge chair, but there was a group of women nearby who were very loud. When we checked in we were told to use a soft voice at all times and that they would ring a gong as a reminder to quiet down when the noise level got too loud, but they never rang it. I spent the rest of the afternoon snoozing by the swimming pool, which was the quietest place I could find (it was still a little loud). My sister found a mineral tub that was a comfortable temperature to soak in, but she mentioned there was scalding water from a pipe hitting her feet. We took showers in the locker room before leaving, and I was pleased to see they offered shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as blow dryers. While there were a few issues, all in all it was a good experience and definitely worth the money. The staff and guests were very friendly. I would love to go back if I ever visit Palm Springs again during a cool time of year.

Yelp
First and foremost, this place is a health resort spa, and their menu fully compliments their mission. It's not cheap, but it's good. If you think you're going to get a typical spa meal you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
Wonderful experience for our 3 Day Girls' Getaway. I was so happy to see that my previous concerns regarding the noise and inappropriate loud conversations were resolved. We had a peaceful experience and I would highly recommend this gem in the desert. They have created a calming, peaceful and beautiful oasis for a quick getaway. Thank you for the lovely memories we made at Azure! * Girls' Getaway 2025 *

Yelp
I bought a day pass for the spa in this resort. It did not disappoint! I was a little suspect as a property when I first pulled up, but it turned into a beautiful oasis once I entered. I Highly recommend the signature massage and the hot spring mine pool for my favorite. The only complaint was that I thought I could arrive two hours before my massage to enjoy all the pools and saunas. Unfortunately, I was unaware those amenities didn't open 9am. Which meant I only had an hour to enjoy before my pppmassage and make the most of most of my day pass.

Yelp
We had a day pass to use the hot springs. We LOVED the hot springs experience at Azure Palm Hot Springs. There is a big pool, indoor and outdoor spas, mineral pools in a desert oasis. It is really nice. It is a quiet environment- I think some groups still get pretty loud. But it was still enjoyable. We appreciated the adults-only crowd and the people who worked there were so kind.

Yelp
Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa Oasis is a wonderful place to spend a few hours on a nice weekend day. We had just departed Palm Springs and made our way here. Check-in is quick, and there is a staff member who shows you around the property. The locker room is very nice and offers privacy and showers. There is a large pool, hot tub, and several tubs. We also did a couple's massage. I would recommend pampering yourself and coming here.

Yelp
"If you like Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain...if you are into yoga and have 1/2 a brain"...you get the picture... This is my new "happy" place in DHS. No loud talking, No loud music and No children. A great escape for adults. (Don't get me wrong, I love children but this girl did that/done that) it's about me now! Lol. We were greeted at the front desk by Taryn & Madelynn. Super friendly and helpful. They gave us a map of the resort and helped us get an earlier treatment time. I used "Resortpass.com," to purchase my day pass. *Day Passes are also available here at the spa - cost is $75 which includes: locker, robe, slippers, access to the pool, mineral tubs, sauna's etc. *For treatments contact the front desk to book one. We had a body wrap with a massage while we were there. Mercedes was my massage therapist and she was excellent. She went out of her way to make my treatment extra special! There is a lovely restaurant, boutique, yoga/pilates classes, a Himalayan salt room and more. Rooms are also available for staying over. Definitely a wonderful day or weekend excursion escape from the craziness of life! *Parking lot *Electric Charging Stations

Yelp
Very cute and fun spa day! So many things to do along with one of the best massages I've had in my life. I definitely want to come back here for another relaxing weekend!

Yelp
This was my first visit on July 2nd & 3rd, 2025, my experience was superb. My daughter and grand-daughter surprised me for my birthday with a two day stay. The spa was so relaxing and the benefits really helped my arthritis in my back. All the staff were very professional especially. Mr. Del and also Ms. Nadine, at the front deck, they went above and beyond, all our questions were addressed, Mr. Del took the time to explained the function of the spa also giving us written information on the helpful beneficial resources of the spa. I look forward to my next visit in the near future. Best Regards, BJ

Yelp
My friends and I came here to use the day spa. We booked our spa services and day spa fee online ahead of time. When we arrived, we were able to easily check in. We were given a run down of the spa amenities and then we went to the locker room. The day spa gives you access to the pool, the mineral water tubs in the desert oasis, hot tub, sauna and a firepit. The spa (for spa services) is next to the pool area. I chose to get a foot and scalp ritual massage. Overall, the experience was nice. I really enjoyed the pool, mineral water tubs, and hot tub. However, my massage was just okay. There was nothing bad about it, but I've had cozier rooms with low lights that create a more relaxing environment. Additionally, there seems to be some renovations going on, so the spa is not as aesthetically pleasing as other spas I've been too. In our way out; I did stop in the cafe to pick up a green juice. I enjoyed that on our drive back to Palm Springs. Overall the staff were very nice, and the day spa was also nice.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at Azure. Pros: Beautiful landscaping and outdoor spaces, excellent spa services (Asia and Sheri - both amazing), mineral pool/spas are quiet and right sized for the number of people even with the day spa folks. Our room was enormous and recently updated (spa room), so relaxing and comfortable. Lots of little extras like robes, and water stations everywhere, and they even added a bottle of champagne and a happy birthday note in our room, which was such a lovely touch. Cons: though there have clearly been many renovations, it's still an older building and that means it's a not sound proof. We could hear another guests loud music in our room vibrating through the walls and in the spa facial room you could hear people loudly clomping around from the floor above. For me, it didn't detract too much from the experience overall (especially since the services were so great) but good to know if you're sensitive to noise. It could also be a little difficult to get a chair in the shade if you're not down to the pool early. Overall, well worth it. We plan to be back.

Yelp
had the perfect spa day here with my sister. we both got the day pass and a signature massage. very peaceful overall until some kids came on site. there are 5 mineral water tubs and a foot reflexology walk that does wonders! the wet sauna with eucalyptus oil water was nice too. 2 indoor tubs too. massage was great too, but wish i got a longer one felt incomplete.

Yelp
For every occasion or just to relax and take a mini vacation I love to bring friends and family here with me to stay. From the outdoor soaking tubs, hot tubs, walking trail, and beautiful rooms this place truly is a dream. I always book the double queen in room soaking tub suite on the first floor. However I have learned to realize that unless you're going to sleep late and wake up early it isn't really worth it. There are so many pools and soaking tubs outside that you don't have much time to get into your in room tub if you are only staying for the day. I love how that the resort is on the smaller side so the pools never feel overcrowded and you feel like you're on an actual get away. There are limited food options at the cafe with limited hours. I do really like their burgers! (I actually think they literally only have one on the menu) and their juices. The menu is geared more towards a healthy palette. Food option wise you would definitely need to take a drive out into town to get anything else though. Service has always been top notch at the front desk.

Yelp
Perfect for a relaxing spa day! Very peaceful and clean! My friends and I just stayed for a few hours and had the best time!

Yelp
Hotel looks very unassuming from outside but once you get inside, it looks like a spa hotel. I think it was an old motel that just got a facelift. The rooms are a bit run down and I doubt there is much insulation because we could hear people walking upstairs and showers of the rooms next to us. The bed was super soft. Each staff member we met was very nice. Great spa treatments. I wouldn't go back and stay there but I'd definitely go for the day and get a massage and facial. The pool isn't much to brag about...it's big but reminds me of a public pool... Upgrades for the place to consider are: drink and food service poolside, ice for water by the pool, room service, no dogs, no kids, enforce the noise level policy that was explained upon check in, widen the drive up area so you open your door during registration.

Yelp
Incredibly relaxing and gorgeous! We used the sauna, hot tubs and tried the reflexology walk with the day pass. They made sure guests were quiet and comfortable. Perfect day!

Yelp
So relaxing (hot springs) and rejuvenating (cold plunge) as well as the massage. An oasis in the desert!

Yelp
We came here to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and it was a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable stay. From the salt room to the ice room, the giant mineral lap pool to the sauna, the facials to the couples massage, we used every inch of the beautiful property. The onsite cafe had very tasty and healthy options. So you don't have to leave unless you want a more formal dining experience. I can't stress enough the importance of getting a room with a tub. At sunset, and early mornings, people are lined up waiting for one of the outdoor tubs. And by Sunday, some of the looked unpleasant. But there is something magical about being outdoors and watching the sun set behind the mountain. If you come in an electric car, fair warning. While they have a charging station, there was always an electric car parked at, not charging. Different cars, just not charging. #rude We were so impressed by the facials. I wish I had written down the name of my aesthetician because she so clearly loves what she does. It was my hubby's first facial and he raved about it to everyone. One thing I wasn't crazy about was the number of day pass guests. Again, having a spa tub in our room helped, but often people were packed into the sauna, or loudly conversing by the pool. Pool etiquette should be taught at checkin, haha. An older couple across the pool from us must have been hard of hearing. I learned all about their family, where they lived, who wasn't talking to whom...but when the wife did a cannonball, I started thinking they just didn't know better. All in all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. But I think I'd do it during the week.

Yelp
We recently visited during a birthday weekend using a ResortPass, and we had a fantastic time! First and foremost, all the staff we encountered were wonderful. Helpful, proactive, pleasant. While we weren't hotel guests, we felt like we got very clear directions on how to reach the pool/oasis area, and when we arrived, we got a brief tour of the entire area as well as guidance to our locker rooms (which were well stocked, clean, and calm). The big pool was perfect for a summer day out in the desert. We found shade easily and made good use of it through our visit. Each separate water function (the indoor jacuzzis, the cold water bucket, the mineral pools) were restorative, and it was great to have so many options during our day stay. It's hard to pick a favorite. Make sure to walk the reflexology path a few times! The week before our visit I had pulled a couple muscles and was generally feeling beat up. We left feeling restored. Can't wait to return!!

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday in December 2023 during the beginning of the week. Check in was easy and upon entering the room there was a bottle of champagne, two glasses, and a birthday letter waiting, along with beautiful music playing in the room from the radio. Decided on a room with a private bath/spring and it was delightful. I also utilized the salt room several times, along with other outside spring baths during the day. There were some guests that clearly don't know what a spa is and were extremely loud during the morning hours, but I check out of the hotel shortly after. The cafe on the premises is okay. Pricey, but if you're in a pinch for food and don't want to leave, it's convenient. They have dine in and take out options. Otherwise there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. They also offer day passes but the salt room is not included, as that is only for over night guests. It's worth at least one visit if you want to unwind and enjoy the desert. Check in staff/front desk were kind of rude and gave looks as if they were being inconvenienced when asked a question, so that wasn't pleasant. Overall I tried to enjoy my stay as much as possible. Oh and it's outside/outdoor parking in case you are wondering.

Yelp
Rating is for restaurant: absolutely delicious. We were staying at another resort in the area and would drive here for breakfast and coffees. Best, fresh, light meals and coffee, juices, lattes in town. Recommend coming for breakfast and staying to relax.

Yelp
FYI: This is an adults only hotel/spa Loved that the large pool and all of the hot tubs are filled with mineral water. This makes a huge difference when you swim/soak for a long time. Because my skin did not wrinkle at all after swimming for hours. I didn't even have to rinse out my bathing suit like I normally have to because it smelled and felt completely clean afterwards. My massage was on time and I felt refreshed afterwards. My spa room was extremely spacious. Although the room lacks a television (which is fine with me) and a microwave (which would have been nice if I wanted to heat up food/drinks), it does have a small refrigerator along with Turkish robes and sandals for guests to borrow. The spa room had the biggest and deepest hot tub that I have ever seen in personal hotel room! The tub filled relatively quickly with perfectly heated mineral water. Had double blinds if you want the room extra dark. Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary in our room. So why the 3 stars instead of 5 stars?.... $20 Sesame crusted tuna bowl was delicious but extremely small. Its portion size is like an appetizer. When I asked for extra sauce (sized like a typical small sauce container), the cafe replied that it would be an extra surcharge. My spa room had air conditioning and a fan. I had set my room to 70 degrees, but it felt like 78 degrees, even overnight... both my husband and I were sweating all night and couldn't sleep at all. The final kicker was the bill, which breaks down the pricing in a difficult to understand manner because of the way the credit cards were charged. I was initially quoted a price over the phone for my one night stay and 2 massages that supposedly included all taxes and fees, except for massage gratuity. When I checked out, there was a sudden addition of a $34 sales tax charge on my room. I didn't feel like arguing over $34, but the sudden last minute extra charge just ruined my overall experience.

Yelp
Went for the one day spa pass and were pleasantly surprised. We had afternoon couples massages scheduled and arrived several hours before to check out the day options. Tge licker rooms are very nice with lockers, slippers & robes included. There are water stations & towels placed throughout. Many variations of spa options inside & out by water temp. The reflexology walk was interesting in a good way! Warm water then cooled at each level. You can get beverages & snacks to have outside as well. The sauna was wow... the aromas and heat/steam were intense. The couples massage was exactly an hour and we were asked several times our preferences and pressure levels. There are showers in the locker rooms as well.

Yelp
A must-visit if you are visiting the Palm Springs area. My sister and I went together for a spa day, and purchased Oasis Day Spa passes. It allowed us to use all of the spa amenities, excluding the Himalayan salt room which is reserved for resort guests. The facilities were clean, well-kept, and contributed to the calming atmosphere. We received robes and sandals upon check in, and were allowed to use the facilities until close. We enjoyed the hot spring pool in the oasis area and the sauna before I went to my spa treatment. I got the desert sage gemstone clay wrap, and the esthetician was great. I enjoyed the full body scrub, as well as the lavender scalp massage add-on. After the treatment, I felt nice and relaxed before I went with my sister to enjoy lunch at the on-site cafe. We both got seared tuna bowls, which were delicious and perfectly sized portions, as well as some yummy drinks (I got a watermelon, beet root, and celery juice [watermelon ade], and she got a chai late). Overall, fabulous experience that I will be recommending to anyone who visits.

Yelp
Always amazing and clean. Vibe is super chill. Waters are very healing and realizing. I just wish we could use the salt room without having to stay at the hotel. Service at the desk and cafe is impeccable. I'll be back many times.

Yelp
This review is only for the day spa oasis through a day pass. All in all, it was great! They have several things included in the price and very clean facilities. We were surprised that we went on a hot Saturday and it wasn't super packed. The baths, saunas, hot tubs and pool were great but the locker rooms were also very nice. The only negative was the food at the cafe that was very meh. Ordinarily this wouldn't matter but they really push the healthy onsite cafe on you on their website, while booking, and while you're there which is why it was such a let down when we actually tried it. Still, if you're looking to enjoy a nice day away at the spa, this is where to go!

Yelp
We went for the day pass & spa treatments, we did not stay the night. We had a fantastic time! Do NOT let the exterior detour you. The second you walk through the doors you'll be very happy you came. My husband and I both got fantastic massages (and I'm very picky). The pool and hot springs had drink service which was great! There were plenty of people there, but we still felt like we got privacy. There are smaller tubs scattered in the desert area and had a couple to ourselves several times. The staff was incredible too. Sounds like they have plenty in the works to extend and improve too. In the meantime, put this on your to do list. You don't regret it!!

Yelp
Wonderful, gorgeous, relaxing! I enjoyed my spa day! Didn't get any additional services, just enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, and saunas! The views are amazing. The cafe wasn't my favorite place I wouldn't suggest ordering anything inside of the case but the chips are amazing! We stayed here all day and I would love to go back! Next time you're in Joshua tree and are looking for a place to relax, check out azure!

Yelp
Truly an amazing experience and spot to go to for relaxing, recharging, and resting. The staff were amazing and friendly, facility was clean and accommodating, atmosphere was calming/quiet, amenities were on point. It was so sad to leave. But I am definitely going back when the real world is stressing me out again.

Yelp
Took a solo trip here, but could easily see myself coming back! The rooms are gorgeous, the spa amenities are luxurious, and overall, it was such a relaxing escape. Parking: it was easy. Just had to fill out on a form the make and model of your car. The room: I did a spa suite with a mineral water tub in the room. Absolutely 100% worth it because if you don't feel like being outside, you can just fill this tub in your room. Only restrictions is you can't fill it between the hours of midnight and 7am, but that's reasonable. Room was clean and extremely spacious. There's a mini fridge, but not microwave. The spa treatments: I got their signature massage and a body scrub. The staff doing both were extremely friendly and efficient. I wish the signature massage came with a hot stone add-in, but it doesn't. Otherwise, enjoyed both and loved all the scalp work the signature massage came with. That really helped relieve all the tension I was holding in. The spa: admittedly I only tried the mineral tub in my room and the one in the oasis, but I loved both. I spent part of a golden hour at the outdoor oasis tub just soaking up and listening to the sounds around me. The cafe: this was probably my least favorite part of this trip. The food is decent, but better eat an early dinner since the full cafe closes at 7 and the grab and go options are eh. I'd usually grab something in town if I was hungry late at night and next time, I'd pack snacks or something. Service: extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone is so kind and I just felt that people enjoyed working there and wanted to make sure your experience was a good one. Tips: Bring snacks for late night munchies, but there's no microwave in the spa suite rooms. Call to get package details to figure out if the cost makes sense for you. I brought 2 swim suits: one for my room's hot tub and for the outside. I'm definitely coming back with a friend or two because this is the perfect spot to relax!

Yelp
Amazing!! We had the best experience at Azure. The staff was lovely, the accommodations were 5 Star. My massage with Concepcion was exceptional! It is a true spa where you were robes from spa or sauna to sauna. Everything was extremely comfortable and clean. A georgeous salt room large enough for 8 people, yoga room, mineral baths galore, hot dry saunas and a beautiful hot spring pool. We highly recommend. I wish they had fresh orange juice and the facial was just ok. Otherwise, they are doing an excellent job and I can't wait to see how they expand in the near future.

Yelp
My boyfriend sent me here for a couple of days to relax after we moved and before I started my new job. Booking the room and spa services was very smooth and I had a great time. I worked out both days I was there and was pleasantly surprised to find a small selection of dumbbells available in the yoga room. Both my massage therapist for my massage and esthetician for my facial were excellent. I felt so pampered when I finished my services. The room was spacious and cool, even though it was on the second floor. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and luxe sheets. I didn't take advantage of the in-room soaking tub because there were so many similar soaking tubs out in the oasis. I never had difficulty finding an available one I could use. I appreciate that the tubs and various hot and cold pools were available almost all day (pools and spas are open 24 hours and the tubs in the oasis are open until midnight). And you don't need to schedule spa services to utilize them!

Yelp
Day pass is totally worth it! You can enjoy all the public saunas, hot tubs, and pool with no time limit. They have 5 outdoor hot tubs heated to 100-105F, 2 indoor jacuzzis, 2 outdoor jacuzzis, 2 saunas, and one large outdoor pool. The Himalayan salt room and the ice room at 30 degrees F are typically only available to overnight guests, but if you can get in they're really nice. You also get a personal locker with a robe and slippers provided. The locker room is pretty bare of amenities but it's large and clean, with towels and hair dryers provided. The cafe had pretty good sandwiches like the pesto chicken and Reuben. Would not recommend the pizza (tiny portions) or mesquite cookie (too hard).

Yelp
So came here for my husbands birthday and it's probably the most disorganized place I've ever stayed at. Every question we had asked we were misinformed by the front desk. Called ahead of time and asked if we could pay in cash. They said yes they just need a credit card on file. Okay no problem, got here just for them to say "oh sorry we have to put the whole thing on a debit or credit card. I explained that I don't have my physical card and that I only have Apple Pay. To which she said "that's no problem" so we drive to the bank put money in my account and when we got there the same lady said "oh sorry actually we can't take Apple Pay" luckily my husband did have have his physical card but if I had just been checking in myself or if he didn't have his card for me to Zelle then that would just been a huge waste of time. Next we were told there was a "eucalyptus steam room" which I was really excited about only to find out no such room existed. Not sure why she told us a room existed when she gave us the map. Once we got into our room there's a ton of rules. We got a room with a private tub but we're not allowed to use it at night?because apparently the pipes are too loud. It's not really the guests fault that you have bad plumbing. The reason why we wanted a private tub was so we could use it at night once the other areas closed down. The robes that are offered in the room are itchy and short. And the slippers are way too small. We got a little lost and saw the same desk clerk wandering around the halls when we asked how to get sto a certain spot she directed us down the emergency exit, when we explained that can't be the correct way she kept insisting till she opened the door and realized she was wrong yet again. We had gotten some Add ons to our massages and I asked will this take time from the actual massage? Or will we still get our full hour plus the extra 20 min of add ons. She said yes we still get the full hour massage plus an extra 20. That also wasn't true and I honestly wouldn't have gotten the add ons had I known that. It's advertised as luxurious retreat but it's really just over priced. I will give it the fact the outdoor area is very pretty but not worth $500 per night.

Yelp
Great staff from the moment you walk in the door. Sprawling beautiful grounds with many pools to enjoy among a gorgeous manicured garden. Food at the restaurant was delicious and exquisite wholesome ingredients. I highly recommend this place for day spa experience.

Yelp
I invested the money on an upgraded room with a king bed, queen bed, view of mountains & nice deep tub. We loved the adorable space & Mountain View. A few things that prevented a 5 star experience, or full relaxation were; cleaning service sounded like a herd of elephants up & down the halls, in/out of the nearby elevators & the floor above us. The sound carried so much that it was hard to rest once they started work even with soft music on. Also, we woke up so hot every hour or two, because it seemed the thermostat is on it's way out & needs to be replaced. If you set the thermostat to cool to 75, it will be over 80 in the room. I had to set it to 63 or less to get the room to 70-75, & do it over & over, all night long. As shortly after, AC would stop & room would get hot, even without clothes or a blanket. This made it difficult to sleep. But here is why we still give it 4 stars: The private soaking tubs in the garden were simply superb! Just LOVED this space & the nice hot water. Only used the swimming pool once, since 88 degrees felt cold in the wind & cooler temps over the weekend. But it's nice! The 4 jacuzzi's were not as hot as we liked, but still used them. The soaking tub in room was fantastic! Nice touch with providing candles & incense. We loved it. Easily fits 2 people also. We also were happy with the mini fridge. Liked the walk-in closet but not the lack of hangers. Advise to bring your own hangers & maybe a fan to set on nightstand. The cafe was great for taking food out to the gorgeous courtyard. We loved the comfortable furniture, vegetation, Mountain View & peaceful atmosphere. The food at cafe was either amazing, or little less than mediocre, depending on what we got. Loved the gf quiche, chicken sandwich on sliced gf bread (didn't care for the bun), obsessed with the taro chips. Didn't like the cookie. Salad not anywhere close to as described, bland & not many ingredients. Most importantly, some of the staff were spectacular! Kim who came around daily & chatted with her helpful, kind, fun personality (without being intrusive or pushy)! We enjoyed her a lot. We also loved the guard at the gate at night, who helped us understand we went to an area at 9:00pm that we shouldn't have been in, on our first night. He made us laugh instead of making us feel stupid for walking beyond the gate while he was on break, not realizing this area would soon be locked, haha. We also enjoyed the salt room & did a meditation with our headphones. All the staff we encountered were friendly. Didn't bring the dogs this time & after being here, just don't feel it is a place good for dogs. I also was told my 2 dogs who are only 8lbs are not welcome, I would be forced to leave one at home. So I won't be able to come as often as I like, but I'll surely return (& request a room that has a brand new AC & Thermostat, I hope they fix room 111. Didn't get to tell them as line for front desk very long as we were leaving). We loved the magic of these waters, the time for healing & bonding in a gorgeous environment.

Yelp
Spent a girls weekend celebrating a bday in Palm Springs. We had originally planned to book a different spa but decided on the mineral springs here. We were SO glad we came here! Arrived at the spa around 10:30am as suggested by the person we spoke to while reserving. The mineral springs tubs were our favorite and while we tried to get back into one we didn't have much luck as they were all taken. If they could add more of these it would be great! Coming early allowed us to use all of the tubs, pool, and wet sauna before going in for our massages. We forgot to make time for the dry sauna. Lunch at the little cafe was good, food was better than we expected and it was fresh. We later went to the spa. They had decent tea service which you helped yourself to before going into the spa. Each of the four of us LOVED our massages. Mine was with Mercedes and I came out of there feeling like a new born baby! She hit all the pressure points beautifully and it was an amazing experience. We are already planning to make this an annual retreat.

Yelp
Update: Adding one star because the pools/hot tubs and garden area are beautiful. The spa was great, but the process lacks any instructions. Just sit outside in the chairs until your time and they will come out to you. But no one tells you that. The room temp was completely unacceptable and I sweat the whole night. This single thing is the reason I will never stay here again. I get that it's the desert and the AC has to work overtime, and you don't want it to freeze - and it probably isn't the newest/most efficient--but "72" is not cold enough to sleep in - for me. It didn't even feel like 72. It was noticeably warm in the room. The front desk basically saying "yeaahhhh we get that complaint a lot"... then fix it? The lack of food options in the hotel and in the area is disappointing as well. There was a sign outside the cafe that said "open to 11pm for grab and go"... they close at 7pm, yet the sign doesn't move. I feel like the lack of TVs in the rooms is because the walls are thin. The suite next door was definitely having a "good time" last night. But, they were pretty efficient with their time, so to speak, so it wasn't that annoying. Original: Check in, haven't even stayed a night and want to leave. I don't care how nice the property is, they lock the A/C in your room and refuse to set it to a decent temperature to sleep in. Completely and utterly unacceptable for a resort in the middle of the desert. And no TV in the room without warning? Strange

Yelp
The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because of the price. This too much per night. If this place were a bit more affordable, I would go there frequently. It's definitely zen and the facilities are lovely, quiet, and clean. So many peaceful spaces. The food is good for you and is also phenomenal. I left no crumbs. The beds are very comfortable. They use incense throughout the facility! People are very friendly. The price is just too high but with the way things are, I can understand the struggle. I would probably go back if I could afford it!!

Yelp
We had a four day stay at the Azer Palms, and found it to be very relaxing. The place was beautifully decorated. The staff was very attentive, gracious and happy. The food served at the café was really really well and all the amenities were so nice to be able to enjoy. My husband and I left there feeling very relaxed. We plan to go again.!

Yelp
I was so surprised how welcomed I was by the staff. Justin checked me in and as he was explaining all the amenities I knew I was in good hands. Having a personable friendly experience the minute you walk in the doors changes everything! Thank you Justin. The hotel was amazing. My massage was so relaxing. All the staff is constantly checking in you to make sure you're having a great time. Mineral bath in your room was awesome! Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
This is the locals getaway that brings back the real Palm Springs atmosphere! Best massage ever. Excellent customer service. Great cafe with healthy food. Fantastic Day Pass to enjoy hot tubs & sauna without staying at this beautiful resort. 2nd time here and can't waiting to return. My body was aching severely and the expert masseuse worked on pressure points to relieve the pain. 5 Stars!!
