13 Best Hotels in Palm Springs

"This uber-intimate hotel in a quiet South Palm Springs neighborhood is home to just 14 rooms. It has a 21-and-over guest policy and no onsite restaurant, so there are rarely more than a couple dozen people on property at any given time. The guest rooms in the renovated 1950s complex feature blond wood-paneled walls, onyx-hued stone countertops, and platform beds. Most even come with private patios and hammocks where you can nibble on the continental breakfast delivered to your room each morning. The lobby feels like a glam living room with its shag rug, slump stone walls, fireplace, plush L-shaped sofa, mirrored ceiling, and proper bar that offers both classic cocktails and a menu of intricate wellness tonics for combating that desert dehydration. The property’s mountain views are visible from both the scattered seating and firepit on the main grassy courtyard, and the newly-built pool (cleverly equipped with two shallow ends) and hot tub area." - Lizbeth Scordo

Wow - what an incredible stay! My fiancé and I just spent three nights at Azure Sky for his birthday, and we’ve officially found our new go-to hotel in Palm Springs. Every aspect of our experience was exceptional.|The front desk staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - special shoutout to Ann, Maxwell, Chad, and Janessa for being so kind, attentive, and helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, and we especially loved having our own private back patio. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly - which is a must in the desert.|We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, which has a calm, peaceful atmosphere - perfect for unwinding. We also brought our little dog along, and the team made her feel right at home with her own set of bowls!|We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend Azure Sky to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious escape in Palm Springs.

First time staying at Azure Sky and we loved the property. So well kept, but what makes this place stand out is without a doubt is the staff. Ann, Chad and the rest of the team were outstanding. Super hospitable and genuine. We can’t wait to stay there again. That bed is so comfy, we slept like babies. Check it out you won’t be disappointed. At a time when it’s almost impossible to experience exceptional customer service these days and that’s why I felt con perked to write this review.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt incredibly relaxing and accommodating. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and truly made for unwinding. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service — Chad, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He was welcoming, attentive, and just an all-around great person to interact with. Honestly, I couldn't give more glowing remarks. If you're looking for a place to rest, recharge, and be treated like a valued guest, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
An absolute GEM! 6 stars if I could give it. This place was spectacular. It was the calm, relaxing and perfect getaway for the holiday weekend. Maxwell at the front desk was amazing more than helpful and friendly. Poolside beverage ordering by text and Amy was so quick to bring it over. The rooms are huge, comfortable and an oasis out of the sun. The space is modern, clean and minimalist in the best way. Super pet friendly, our dogs clearly enjoyed themselves. I’m excited to return here. I rarely find a hotel I enjoyed this much Major kudos.

We had the best vacation at Azure Sky! The room was so clean and stylish, loved the lemongrass scented hair and body products. The private patio was great, especially as we had our pup with us. The courtyard was also great for dogs. The bed was soft and comfortable. Mini fridge is huge, and appreciated the stove top. The pool was clean and quiet, the pool area is really chic. The best part of the stay was the staff. Chad was absolutely amazing! He made me the best margarita I’ve ever had and even went out and bought us a can opener when we needed it. Ann and Janessa were lovely and friendly, Sonya and Luis also were super responsive. This was the perfect stay, and ideal if you want a quiet hotel that’s pet friendly. Loved seeing the pups by the pool. Thank you so much Azure Sky! We will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Palm Springs and we were so happy with Azure Sky. Easy check in and helpful staff. Our room was very quiet with a patio, hammock and chair. Breakfast delivered daily - yogurt, fruit, and muffins. Nespresso machine was great to have in the room. We loved the pool area - a hummingbird calls it home and rests on the light wire. Great food recommendations - Elmers (diner) and Del Ray (tapas). Easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park. Would definitely stay again.

Google
FIVE STARS all-around. I recently stayed at the Azure Sky Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The property was mid-century modern cool and had a great vibe. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an adult only, chill vibe on the south end of Palm Springs you should stay here. You'll get all the relaxation you'll want and you'll have attentive staff I can't recommend this place enough. We've stayed an many small boutique properties in town over the years and this is now our favorite. We will absolutely be coming back.

Google
This hotel surpassed our expectations, five stars for sure! It is a boutique hotel with 19 unique and tastefully designed modern, clean rooms. Adults only so it was very quiet and relaxing. Every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to meet our needs and make for an exceptional experience. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, heated pool and complimentary bike rentals. Happy hour drinks around the fire pits is a must. Already planning our next visit! Thanks Azure Sky ✨

Yelp
I booked this hotel through Southwest Airlines hotels because I could get 6,000 Companion Pass Tier credits for a 2 night stay. I was very leery about an Adult Only Boutique hotel. Normally means small, dated, old hotel. Boy was I wrong. First we arrived at 1pm on the chance that we could check in early. We were told by Shay that our room was being cleaned and it would probably take another hour or so to be finished. She suggested that we hang out by the pool until our room was ready. She said that we could enjoy our complimentary Slushy drink by the pool. Exactly what we were hoping for. She was very nice and escorted us to the pool with our slushies and 2 bottles of water. She stopped by the pool at about 3:00 to tell us our room was ready, gave us our keys, and escorted us to our room. Our room was large with a private courtyard in the back with a Hammock and a small table with two chairs. There was a small kitchen area with an induction burner and a sink. We didn't utilize the kitchen area but there was a toaster, pots & pans, and dishes & bowls. There was an honor bar fridge that had plenty of room inside for the beverages that we brought. All the staff members that we met were very friendly. Went they came around the second day Shay recommended a sugar free non alcoholic cocktail for me because she remembered the I stored my insulin at the front desk the first day (because it would have gotten too hot by the pool or if I left it in the car). I think that was so considerate and thoughtful. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back. I wanted to make sure that I gave them a good review for the excellent job the staff did to make us feel comfortable. However, I am hoping that they don't get so crowded that we can't get a room in the future.

Yelp
Cute but leaves a bit to be desired. It feels like a place that hasn't yet been discovered and we stayed here bc our usual spot (the holiday house) lost its mind with pricing after thanksgiving. Anyway, this hotel was cute and quiet. Maybe too quiet? There's no service by the pool which is weird given how quiet it is and how they don't serve food. You don't even want to walk a menu out and see if the four ppl want a cocktail? That's the difference to me between a real hotel and a motel and from what I can tell this is a lovely and reasonable flipped motel. "Resort fee" is wild for a place like this. Our Olive room was comfortable and fine - all of it- just fine. PS hotels are pretty competitive these days and this place is perfectly fine but I prob wouldn't stay again.

Yelp
Overall, I liked staying here, and I would probably stay here again. I'm just going to list out what I thought were the pros and cons: Pros: the service was friendly, especially Angie, who was super attentive, sweet and on top of everything. It's cute, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchenette was nice. I liked that they provided cruiser bikes, and the drinks by the pool were really good. I liked the fire pit outside, and Angie brought us some cozy blankets when it got cool outside. You had the option of a continental breakfast brought to your room every morning. Greek yogurt, granola, and muffins. They were pretty yummy. They have parking out front, and the lobby is really cute with the typical mid century modern flare. I liked the location in a little residential neighborhood surrounded by cute houses, but my boyfriend thought it was a little far from town. It was definitely walking distance, so I still considered it a good location. They provide robes. :-) Cons: I don't care about no TV because I don't watch TV on vacation, but they were very clear about the fact that there were no TVs on the website. What they should've said was NO CLOSET OR COUNTER SPACE IN THE BATHROOM! To be clear, the rooms are quite spacious, and, at minimum, they could've put an armoire in the rooms. There is absolutely no closet space so you have to hang everything on hooks right inside the door and it looks messy. I like to feel like I'm in a clean and tidy space. I don't want to see a bunch of clothes hanging at the foot of my bed. While the shower was a nice size, the bathroom was quite small, and there was absolutely no counter space, just a teeny, tiny sink. I have no idea what kind of hair care products they use, but I can usually get by three days without washing my hair and I work out every day. I didn't even work out while I was here and I had to wash my hair twice. Their shampoo and "creme rinse" (I don't think I've heard that word since 1987) left my hair feeling dirty and waxy. The $50 per day "resort fee." I'm pretty sure there are only 12 rooms, and it's just not a resort. It's a renovated motel. Yes, they give you the breakfast and you can take the bikes and they give you one "welcome slushy," which we didn't cash in on, but why not give you one slushy per day? Why do you get punished for staying more than one day. If you only stay one day you get a slushy 100% of the days... I don't know if the math doesn't work for me. I bet it was good, too, based on my pool bar cocktail! To me, a resort has a spa, a restaurant, a closet, counter space...you get it. The air-conditioning worked, but the room wasn't really temperature-controlled. It got hot, then freezing, then hot. There wasn't much middle ground. Not that I realllly care, but they call their snacks in the room an Honor Bar, yet there are prices listed, which I assume they charge you for if you take them. That's not really an Honor Bar, it's just a mini bar. Just call it what it is . I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm picking them apart. I actually liked it here, but they have a few things they can definitely work on over time.

Yelp
We travel to Palm Springs from LA quite often and really appreciate its vibrant hotel scene. Still, we were blown away by our stay at Azure Sky! I cannot believe how nice these rooms were-- the aesthetic was perfectly on point, the room and grounds were immaculately clean. We ended up staying in much more than I thought we would just because it was so lovely and spacious. The honor bar was well curated and shockingly reasonable. The complimentary slushies were delicious and lovely by the fire pit. Since it's adults-only, the pool was quiet and rejuvenating. And well-heated enough to be pleasantly warm in December. It's in a very safe, quiet area. Less than 10 minutes drive to downtown, but a few places, like King's Highway, Elmer's, and The Reef, are within easy walking distance. The area is safe for walking around to admire the beautiful homes and mountains. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly (Luke was so wonderful welcoming us in and the other two, whose names I didn't catch, were fantastic) and they made the stay so enjoyable. This is absolutely going to be a repeat choice for us.

Yelp
I recently took a PEEK into the new Azure Sky Hotel, and I must say, it left a lasting impression. This newly established hotel boasts a stylish and minimalist aesthetic that I found to be quite calming and soothing. The attention to detail and sleek design elements create an inviting atmosphere that exudes modernity. Let's just say... its very QUIET. Although I didn't stay overnight, the brief encounter allowed me to appreciate the thoughtful furnishings and the overall ambiance of the hotel. The location near the ACE Hotel further adds to its appeal. If you're seeking a trendy and contemporary hotel experience in Palm Springs, the Azure Sky Hotel worth checking out as an option. Make sure you know what the options are for food, room service or services of any kind as I did not inquire about this

Yelp
Like another reviewer, I don't want to do this review for selfish reasons. The better the hotel is rated, the mord "in-demand" it becomes. (Good for the hotel owner-bad for the customer) Anyways, this property is so nice. It is in a quite neighborhood of with similiar properties and regular residential homes. It feels like you are in a typical neighborhood but still close enough to downtown if you are interesting in shopping and dining. The hotel is well-appointed with up to date decor and amenities. We stayed in room 114, a suite which had tons of room. It felt like a home away from home. The pool and jacuzzi are great and clean. We took off on a bike ride with the complimentary use of the properities bikes. Beds and sheets were comfy and the soaps and shower gels are top notch, leaving you smelling so good and fresh. Luke welcomed us when we checked in and was very helpful explaining how everything works. The remainder of the staff was great too. This is perfect for couples wanting a relaxing and quiet vacation. I believe it is adults only so that is a nice feature. We will definetly book again in the near future. It is our new "go-to" location.

Yelp
One of my favorite boutique hotels we've ever stayed in! We love coming to Palm Springs for a weekend getaway often & this newly renovated hotel was perfect for us. It was adults-only so it was quiet & exactly what we look for when searching for hotels online. Cesar checked us in & was very kind & informative. Everything was so nicely decorated, clean & trendy. The room we had was so spacious & had a kitchenette. The pool was warm in July & nice to dip in. They have continental breakfast like coffee, Oj, pastries, fruit, yogurt, bars, etc. The entire ambiance is relaxing & perfect for a weekend getaway. Thank you Azure Sky Palm Springs!

Yelp
I stayed here with my best friend for a get away and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was very attentive, the rooms were so clean and beautiful, and the amenities were great. I will definitely be back

Yelp
Angie made our experience at Azure amazing! We truly felt like we were guests in her home. The complementary slushees at arrival put us right into vacation mode! And she makes amazing espresso martini slushees. She made sure we were hydrated throughout our stay by bringing us water while we relaxed by the fire pit and samples of hydration elixirs by the pool. We really appreciated that! This was a great quiet place to relax. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Beautiful new hotel to Palm Springs. Extremely clean and secure. Room 112 is a gem.

Heather L.

Yelp
Really super stay. Hotel was beautiful, spacious, renovated a beautiful mid-century modern meets rustic chic. Gorgeous pool and fire pit areas, and QUIET location with amazing view of the mountains and San Jacinto. They went above and beyond for us with a surprise free room upgrade and a free frozen margarita drink! Loved the extra touches like the free high-end tea and coffee in our room, luxurious bath lotions, robes, yoga mats, books, and the included breakfast (ours was granola, Yoplait "Oui" yogurt, two muffins from a local bakery, and a bowl of pineapple and blueberries). Snacks and full mini bar were available to purchase in each room, too. We took advantage of extending our checkout a few hours ($25 extra) to linger longer before heading out. Really wonderful place and really sweet, unpretentious hosts. We will be back!

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this hotel! Boutique feel with all the amenities (pool, hot tub, bocce, etc) and chic design we were looking for on our Palm Springs girls getaway. The rooms are spacious, beds super comfy, and much appreciated design details like a fridge / stovetop. Service was fantastic and so unexpectedly pleasant to wake up to fresh coffee, juice, and light breakfast bites. Special thanks to Angie who made the stay extra special. We will 100% be back!

Yelp
This was our first time staying here . The room was nice and clean . The pool was very relaxing along with the sauna . It was so peaceful and it's for 21 and over . Luke (staff) was very attentive and made you feel at home . Very helpful when asked questions and friendly. We will be returning here again . We loved and enjoyed our stay . Once again thank you Luke !

Jason L.

Yelp
My wife and I really love this hotel. We've stayed here twice in the past few months and both times were wonderful. The general manager, Angie, was friendly, welcoming and helpful, as was her staff. The hotel was recently renovated and they've really done a fantastic job bringing a modern touch to the hotel's MCM style. The grounds are lovely, and our rooms (we stayed in the "Olive" class room both our stays) were stylish and super SUPER comfortable. The private patio with its hammock was nice, and the pool was a fantastic place to spend the afternoon. We'll be back again, no question!

S R.

Yelp
An overall okay place. The best part is the check in area, tequila slushie, and daily breakfast. The pool is nice and quiet but floor is dirty and scalding hot, hot tub. The hotel beds are comfortable but surface level cleaning in the room.

Nadia N.

Yelp
We LOVED our stay here! Amazing service and the whole space is just so aesthetically pleasing. The room was super spacious and we cannot get over the snack bar and kitchen area in our room. They have a stove and cooking utensils if you feel like making a quick meal in the room! Would definitely stay here again.

Lars V.

Yelp
LOVE this hotel! I was hesitant to write about the hotel and how great it is because I fear it will become too popular and I won't be able to get a room in the future. The parking is super easy and the lobby is amazing. The staff greets you warmly (I was lucky enough to have Angie the GM greet me and check me in!!). There are welcome "slushies" when you arrive. The pool area is huge with a great jacuzzi, Firepits etc. The other guests were very nice because they were all in a good mood bc the hotel is so awesome. Everybody was super happy and the hotel has a great vibe. The rooms are super cool too. Mine was 107 and it was very large w a nice big walk in shower and an updated kitchen. A small dining table in the room and also a large private patio with a sitting area and a hammock. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee in the room...and also a great mini bar. There is also a small bar in the lobby where they will make you delicious cocktails (for a small fee). Overall experience I will give it a 5 STAR rating!!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Wow!! We had such a wonderful stay at Azure Sky! Quiet, clean, lovingly decorated and cared for upscale boutique hotel, within walking distance of downtown. Retro vibes with modern finishes. Pool was good sized and quiet, with enough loungers for everyone. Bed was comfortable with lovely linens. I have to say, Angie the Manager was delightful!! So helpful and accommodating. All staff we encountered were gracious and friendly. So glad we chose this spot for our first trip to Palm Springs!

Stefanie P.

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful! A small boutique property with a mid-century vibe and all the amenities you expect from a luxury hotel. The rooms are spacious and every detail well thought-out. Cleanliness and service were over the top! Relaxing by the pool a must. Thank you to Angie, Cesar, Mariah, and Lido who made our stay so memorable. Will definitely be back!
