I've been in Gozo for two weeks now and have tried most of the island's top restaurants — some fancy, some expensive, and some with just average food. But this place truly stands out.
The service is absolutely fantastic, the food is incredibly tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that hits all the marks so well.
During our visit, we also had a great conversation with the owner, who has been running this restaurant for over 40 years. He spoke with genuine passion about keeping things simple and honest — no unnecessary twists, no over-seasoning, just real, traditional cooking done right. They use fresh fish from local suppliers, which makes a huge difference in flavor and quality. You can feel that this place has soul. After all the places we’ve tried, this is by far the best. I can’t recommend it enough.
