Azzahra Hotel & Restaurant

This hotel is locally owned. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable, and had a safe, fridge and TV. They were quiet. The hotel is well decorated. The restaurant has excellent food, and great pizza. There are several rooms to hang out with friends. Only downside is it does not have an elevator. Also, it is next door to a music conservatory that has outdoor concerts.

I booked for three nights on a discounted rate, on a non-refundable and non-changeable basis. Due to the situation in Israel, my trip was curtailed. Azzahra Hotel very generously refunded my booking. Very generous and responsive. I hope to be able to visit and stay in the future.

It is a perfect hotel to know Jerusalem. It is close to the historic sites, the cleanliness is very good, the breakfast is plentiful, it is very quiet and the staff very friendly responding to all our requests. Perhaps the only thing upgradable would be some opaque curtains to avoid light in the room in the morning. We have spent an unforgettable week and if we return to Jerusalem, we will definitely return.

Nice hotel with thick walls and high ceiling. Tried also the restaurant which offer nice local food. Just make sure you ask for no smoking area. Very helpful at the reception for any information you need. Short walking from old Jerusalem gate, that is a must seen. Easy from the location to take public transport to visit Bethlehem. I'd recommend it

We tried the restaurant a couple of times with the family and were impressed by the quality of the food and excellent service in a cozy environment. The menu includes a nice collection of traditional Palestinian food and international dishes and pizza.

I stayed at Azzahra for just under a week in December, and I can't overstate how much I enjoyed my stay. The room had a lovely design incorporating traditional Jerusalem style with very modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, heating is effective and can be controlled with a remote, the shower was new with unvelievably good water pressure and heat, which is hard to come by in Jerusalem. Standard of cleanliness was top notch, and staff very helpful. The included breakfast was lovely, and by the way, the restaurant is perfect for dinner as well--excellent food with an extensive menu. I will definitely stay at Azzahra again and recommend it for any others.

Nice clean hotel. No lift here be mindful of stairs. No real view. Great for a short b&b. We did have water pressure issues in the showers 🚿 during our stay..

There was an issue with my booking (not the hotels fault!). They did everything they could to accomodate us, even upgrading us to a bigger room. Thank you! Rooms are very clean, location is great, and they have a very nice breakfast. Definitely a recommendation!
