Very big and very thin pizzas! We came as a group of colleagues. Good thing - we cold find a table for us. Bad thing - it was soooo loud inside, we could hardly hear ourselves. Most people ordered pizza. They claim to be No1 in Zurich, but my Italian colleague said it is not the best pizza. Pizza is about 50 cm in diameter, with very thin dough and borders. I could hardly finish 1/2. Not bad pizza, but not my favorite. That also forget about my order and brought it later, when everybody started to eat. It was quick to bake pizza, so the delay was not significant.

Lovely people and even though we came right when business was supposed to close, they stayed open and served us amazing pizzas, thin as it can get and and really tasty!! Just look at the size!!

Very busy, but very friendly! I ordered a pizza, and it came proper quick, but it was the wrong pizza. I wasn't going to complain. The hostess recognized that it wasn't what I ordered, and SHE sent it back and brought me the pizza I had requested. 💯 respect. I didn't have to say a word. 2 thumbs waaaay up! And yes, it was amazing. 😎

It is really one of the best Italian restaurant in Zurich! We highly recommended the pizza. Nice ambiance and the staff were really cute and attentive. Food were served fresh and fast! The chili for pizza was amazing. Hot and tasty! We will definitely come back again. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

The location outside is very lovely, with olive trees, fountain and birds. The young waiter is very kind and polite. The pizza is very big but the bread is not the one you would expect in a pizza, it remains very thin and crunchy like a cracker. Pizza was not my favorite here.

Pizzas are really good if you like thin crust and huge size. We had margarita, spicy salami and capricciosa. They also gave us a spicy sauce with chili peppers. I am a bit sad that they don’t deliver but only take away. The rest is average, so I definitely recommend their pizza!

I ate the pasta and I think it's a little bit too hard, although they are generous with the portion. For the taste, it's good but not amazing, but I am not from Europe so my tastebud and preference might be different. Local people should like it more. For the service, it's not really tourist friendly, but I'm sure it will be fine if you know local language/Italian. The place itself is okay, but it's very very noisy.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Zurich! The service by the waiter was okay.. there was definitely a language barrier and it was clear that this restaurant was not interested in helping much with the menu but that's okay. The food itself was really good and that's what's important.

Yelp
This restaurant gets busy after 9 pm with Italians.. This is a good sign. Pasta is ranging between 18 and 27 CHF. Good portion size and tasty. 0.5 L house wine is 25 CHF. Not bad price. Simple mixed salad is 10.50 CHF, I don't think it's worth 10 CHF. Pizza looked awesome. Extremely thin crust and twice bigger than most pizza you get in Zurich. I will definitely get pizza next time. Nice outdoor sitting and grill for summer time!! ps: plenty of parking space but generic cold bread...

Yelp
I love this pizza, five stars for that in Zurich. The location of this place is great for those who live or work in Altstetten, but since this neighborhood is not somewhere you'd go after work - it gets frequented a lot during lunch time with those who work in Altstetten. It's pretty much a secret place away from the people who work/live around here, I guess not so much anymore since I'm writing about it now... My friend who works for a bank located in Altstetten took me here for pizza and I find this is the pizza that I really like. The crust is super thin and crispy to the right touch. The service is decent and no frills, and in the summer there is plenty of outdoor seating. This is the place that the locals and the people working in Altstetten don't want you to know about bc it's already busy enough :-D I'd only recommend coming here for pizza, as I haven't tried anything else and it seems like everyone who comes here raves about their uber thin crusted pizza that they do so well. No one else comes closer to the thinness of the pizza and still maintain that level of crispiness. Decent prices too. Expect to be here for 1 hour for dining, not swift turnaround but not turtle speeds either. How much you like pizza is personal taste really but for those who love freshly hot, thin and adequate crispy pizza will love this place.

Yelp
60 parking spots available on the back of the restaurant, awesome service, the food is really good! Pizzas are super thin but really tasty! Spaghetti Carbonara are early tasty and the portion is good! I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Fabulous pizza and a great overall experience. Would recommend reservations, as it is busy. Also, this place moves at a casual place- it is for those with some time to enjoy dinner. Other reviews note service time, but your patients will be rewarded!

Yelp
Poor service, been sitting for 15 minutes now and no water or drinks delivered. Waiter is arrogant and doesn't explain the menu. Wouldn't send my friends here.

Yelp
I came here once, before a concert at the Letzigrund and thought it was good but I didn't think to write a review. Last night my husband and I drove 40 minutes across town to try the El Agave restaurant near by. When we arrived at 21:50, they told us they closed their kitchen early. Their website said closing time was 23:30 and they still had about 10 people in their restaurant finishing their meals. So we did a restaurant search in the area for places that were still serving at 22:00, it was Friday night and we are in Europe, no? Our next choice was the Italian restaurant next door. Their hours said they were open until 24:00 on a Friday night, so we headed over. At 22:10 they had already closed their kitchen and their restaurant was still half full. What is up with the restaurants in Switzerland, business is so good they just close whenever they feel sick of serving food?? So now we're hungry and a bit annoyed. In one last stich effort, we walk through the door at Azzuro. They happily seated us. I remembered that we had eaten there once before but I didn't remember what the food was like. It's authentic Italian, right down to the one choice of red or white wine. The pizza is that perfect thin crust that you get in Italy and the one choice of Primitivo wine was really good. It was a satisfying end to a frustrating night. I'm now hooked on their pizza. It's a must try if you're a pizza lover.....and who isn't a pizza lover!!!
