B & B Casa Pimpolini - Bari

Beautifully appointed room in a beautiful apartment. The room has everything you need including a large en suite and balcony. Even though it overlooks the street it was never noisy and we slept exceedingly well (very comfy bed). There is a lift yo the apartment. ||Dyria is a delightful host; attentive and always happy to help. Her breakfasts were exceptional. ||It's a good location; just under 10 minutes or so the the old town, and 2 minutes to the airport bus stop. Lots of shops nearby if you need

We had the most wonderful 4 nights at Dyria’s home. Everything about it was great. We were welcomed so warmly despite being late in the evening and nothing was too much trouble for Dyria. She is the very perfect hostess and was so happy to talk about her city of Bari recommending places for us to eat. The bedroom was super comfortable and having access to make a cup of tea for ourselves was really perfect. We would recommend this B and B to anyone!

The accommodations at Casa Pimpolini were perfect for a visit to Bari. It was a short walk to the old city. And half a block to a very authentic Puglian restaurant. Parking was in a garage almost right across the street. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and had a balcony. The bathroom was fine and the bed was most comfortable. But most of all, we loved our gracious hostess who was so helpful and a font of knowledge about Bari and the surrounding area.

Our stay was delightful, the best most comfortable bed we ever had, fresh towels every day, fresh linen every second day. The room and private bathroom were spotless clean so as the rest of the apartment. The kitchen was on the veranda with fresh homemade goodies and sweets kindly cooked by Dyria. She would ask when we would like our breakfast and what would we prefer. She even packed away our breakfast when we left early in the morning so that we eat later.

Dyria is a delightful lady who looked after us during our 4 night stay. Our individual fresh breakfast with a smile set us up for long days touring Puglia. |Dyria sent us messages throughout our trip with up to date information about train and bus times, booking excursions and choosing restaurants and suggesting itinerary.|Very comfortable bed in Matrimonial suite and good facilities. |This is a very relaxing haven perfectly sited for walking to the attractions, made more special by Dyria's care. Thankyou for looking after us.

Our stay here was perfect and Dyria was the perfect hostess: welcoming, caring, generous and just gorgeous. Her apartment is beautiful - the furnishings, art, books all in impeccable taste. Everything down to the finest detail has been carefully chosen and arranged for her guests' comfort and pleasure. ||There's a choice of a room with two single beds and your own bathroom only steps beyond it off the tiny passage or a double room with ensuite bathroom. Our beds and pillows were big and soft, and there were lovely touches such as sweets and an orchid on a bedside table. The lovely green and white bathroom was superbly appointed. ||Breakfast in the large country kitchen or pretty light and plant-filled adjoining area was divine. We were greeted with a splendid array of different food each day at a beautifully set table with fresh flowers and delicious surprises such as homemade individual apple tarts or quiche. Dyria is a fabulous cook. And there was abundant fresh fruit, already peeled and prepared for you if necessary, yogurt, cereal, homemade preserves, and then a plate loaded with perhaps local cheese, prosciutto, salad, and scrambled eggs and bacon cooked there and then. What a treat.||We can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Thank you, Dyria.

We stayed at Casa Pimpolini for one day at the beginning of our 3 1/2 week trip and it was a pleasure to return for 3 more days at the end of our trip. The location of Casa Pimpolini is perfect - less than a 5 minute walk from the Airport Bus drop-off and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely balcony off our large beautifully decorated and furnished bedroom.||||Dyria gave us a choice of either a savoury or sweet breakfast. We tried both, and both were fabulous. In addition she provides a fridge with juice and water which you can help yourself to during your stay.||||Dyria, was very helpful when we were contemplating our trip to Italy and emailing her from Canada. Once we arrived, she was very welcoming and provided a plethora of information both about Bari and how to navigate the bus and train schedules. She recommended a quick train trip to Trani which we did and are so glad we followed her recommendation. Another guest mentioned they "arrived as strangers and left as friends". We echo that feeling. Dyria is a wonderful, wonderful person and made us feel so welcome in her home. If we ever return to Bari, we will definitely stay at Casa Pimpolini again.||||We cannot recommend Dyria and Casa Pimpolini strongly enough. She is passionate about providing the best accommodation and service and it is evident as soon as you arrive.

We loved our stay at this beautiful B&B. It was the best night we had out of our two week trip, which included budget and luxury hotels. We had a truly lovely and comfortable private room with a delicious homemade breakfast that was beautifully laid out for us. The bed was super comfortable, the sheets luxurious and the bathroom was so clean, bright and well-stocked. The host must have been a cook and an interior designer at some point in her life. Wonderful stay!
