B & B Il Fondaco del Moro

Wonderful stay in an old medieval city. Quiet with olive trees surrounding the city walls. Parking was easy at the large lot just outside the walls. Breakfast was varied and filling. Walk to Albergo and buy some bread, meat and cheese at the local shop. Drive to old castles. Just a serene experience in the countryside.

Me & my wife had a great stay here. The place was super nice, room was spacious and clean. Check in and check out was smooth. There's parking available just 3 min walking distance. The price made it a bargain. Definitely recommend it. Only thing was that I couldn't get the thermostat to work somehow, even though I followed the instructions. But we used fresh air from the windows instead :)

We were driving from Belarus towards Rome and we booked a place there by accident. Yes, the location is such that you can't get there without a car. But the place is so cool that it's hard to describe. Firstly, you live almost in a castle, the room is in excellent repair, there is air conditioning, a kettle, water, there are even some treats in the room and there is even a fireplace with candles (there were some drawbacks, but they were not significant at all). It's really hard to meet a living person around, but that's more of a plus than a minus. There is a functioning cathedral, at 5 p.m. there was even a service there, the bell rang every hour. There is a place to walk in silence, there are olive groves all around the castle. Standard continental breakfast, some fruit. I really liked the place, I give it 11 out of 10, all the disadvantages that may have been there pale in comparison to its advantages, especially for that price. If I had the opportunity, I would probably spend my vacation there.

This was the place to be for a relaxing short break in Tuscany. We stayed for two nights in this little borgo ( medieval village), surrounded by a few houses and a church. The place is in the middle of nowhere, just like we wanted! ||The room was modern and had all we needed. I booked a Luxury Room, Balcony, Courtyard View. The balcony was just outside the bedroom and had a lovely view. The ensuite bathroom was a good size, toiletries and towels. The rooms were clean and welcoming. ||Breakfast was available every morning and there were some home made cookies & cake, fruit juices, yogurts, water bottles and so on. ||I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone that wants a relaxing holiday and is happy to stay in a tranquil place.

We absolutely loved the apartment with the tiny balcony on the roof. The check in was easy, the room very clean, they even give you cofFee, tea , cold water and sweets. Only it's a pity that you need to check out at 10- it would be nice to sit on the balcony for longer. Hit then you can go and relax in the peaceful olive garden. Fantastic place for relax!!!!

We booked this as part of a package so checked the reviews and were surprised to see universal praise (for a change). This beautiful B&B deserves all the positive reviews. You feel part of ancient history, it's very Italian, beautiful and simple, the rooms are comfortable and well laid out. We were on the top floor so the views were stunning. Rolling hills and green as far as the eye could see. Breakfast was a really good continental, plenty of variety and all very tasty. Staff were fantastic, Linda should get a special mention. You felt she was there to make your stay better, she was fantastic. I would highly recommend this lovely "out of the way" B&B.

Fabulous B&B in a little hamlet on the hill. The place is virtually deserted apart from a few locals. Our room was perfect and the balcony looked out over the little church only the sound of the pigeons and swallows and every half hour the bell. We were well looked after by Linda who was there to great us at breakfast. Do some research or ask Linda about eating out as you will need to travel for a restaurant so obviously a car is essential . We absolutely loved it and hope to return.

This small hotel is located in a hill-top hamlet, with no shops or cafes, absolutely nothing to disturb the peace, apart from the sound of the birds and the church bells.||On arrival, we were greeted by Linda and Daniella, and provided with a much appreciated cool drink. Subsequently, they gave us helpful advice and information about places to visit, restaurants etc.(Monte San Savino is only a few miles away and has a good choice of restaurants - we ate at Le Delizie di Aldo, which was good. We also ate at the Blu Notte in Albergo, just down the hill, great pizza and pasta.) ||We stayed in Room 4 - spacious, well-appointed, bedroom and anteroom and bathroom. It also had a covered balcony which was excellent for early morning tea/coffee (provided), and for pre-dinner wine. We spent a lot of time watching the swifts darting all around us, and the occasional hoopoe.||Breakfast buffet was excellent - all you could possibly want from a small hotel.||A superb away from it all break.
