B & B La Marquise De Bassano

Location, location, location. The B&B is centrally located, and very easy to reach any part of old town. The rooms were well appointed, and clean. Veronyc was a wonderful host, and responsive to any questions that we had.

Quaint B&B in a great location. Room was nice and spacious for the age of the building. No place to unpack so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. If you like air conditioning be prepares to leave the curtains open all night and there are no blinds. I prefer cold and dark and had to settle for cold. Other than that no complaints. Staff was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. Great location at the top of the city, just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything you want to see and do. Great value!

Centrally located in the old town, among many other hotels and B&Bs. Very touristy area. Hippie art collection and oddly appointed rooms. This is our second stay, our room was slightly cumbersome to move about in with a very large chair in the doorway. Shared bathroom was nice and had a great shower. Room and bathroom were clean. Good breakfast served family style and not enough seating available for all guests. So you had people waiting for you while you're eating your breakfast. Hostess was helpful with car and bicycle parking at an extra cost.

Great experience staying at this B&B, a historic building in the centre of Old Quebec City. Susana welcomed us and was very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

We loved the family-run 1800s home with beautiful details and history. Our room had a beautiful typewriter, clawfoot tub, and library. The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was hearty and delicious. But our overall highlight was Veronyc and Suzanna! They were personable, informative, and made our entire stay cozy and comfortable. They even added genuinely nice touches for my birthday. We will absolutely be back and we will tell all of our friends and family to visit!

We stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it!|Veronyc is a lovely host. Super friendly and very welcoming.|It’s located in the old town, just away from the really busy part, but close enough to walk everywhere.|Our room was very nice with a lovely comfortable 4 poster bed.|Susanna (young girl that works there) is absolutely fabulous and does a great breakfast |I cannot recommend this place highly enough.|Next time we are in Québec, we will definitely stay there again.

Had never been to Québec and found this lovely B&B on line and was very pleased with my gut feeling it would be perfect for are needs, and it was!!!! From check in to check put was seamless! Parking at the location was well worth it. Owner and staff were kind and helpful on a daily basis, breakfast every day was delicious. Rooms were comfortable and clean with updated amenities and the location was perfect as the Québec music festival was going on we were just steps form it as well hotel Le Chateau Frontenac for fabulous dining or one of the many great restaurant's around.

Francis is owner of our B&B, and a new friend for life, we would like to think. We'll be back for sure. In 4 days, we have really enjoyed his knowledge, attitude, smiles, and humour. Veronica, his business partner is just as wonderful ! Just as fun ! (plus she cooks family recipe breakfasts (like cranberry bread pudding with real maple syrup) ! Family couldn't treat you better ! Location, location, location. We are walking distance to everything ! This 4 days has been better than we could have ever imagined ! ||Thank you Francis and Veronica. Btw, Princess Cruises comes in here 10 minutes away, from Europe, Boston, you name it. The Bed and Breakfast building itself is an 1888 historical home in great condition, remodeled into a wonderful 4 bedroom. Francis grew up there and his knowledge of where and what to see is the best! Veronica is also a world traveler to compare notes with and she knows what great service is and makes sure we are happy. ||The rooms are perfect, the beds are comfy with lots of pillows, and there is a seating area in our room. Our room had an amazing balcony patio with views of the rooftops, including the majestic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac Hotel, one of the most photographed hotels in the world, which is 2 blocks away, on the St Lawrence River. With Francis' advise we visited/walked to 4 distinct old neighborhoods, all with shops, restaurants, cafes. He also recommended the $3 ferry for beautiful old city photography shots. We also took a 1.5 hr hop off bus tour located on the boardwalk, 10 minutes walk away. We had 4 perfect days !
