Great little hotel just up the hill from the harbor. One of the few open during the offseason. |Here’s the summary:||The Good|- Location. Close enough to the harbor for easy access but far enough away that the all night party noise shouldn’t be a problem.|- Clean rooms. Nothing fancy but typical European room. |- Real toiletries. Not “mount on the wall squeeze bottles”|- Decent breakfast. Pretty typical for small inns in Europe, croissants, baguettes, cereal, cheese, sandwich meats, fruit and of course a cappuccino maker. Fruit was fresh as were the pastries. |- Small balcony off room. Perfect little balcony for enjoying an evening glass of wine overlooking the park||The Mediocre |- Narrow, poorly lit stairwell and hallway|- Lobby closes at night. The key card has a code to enter after hours but if you need any help late at night you have to call a number (provided). |- Very small bathroom. Even by small European inn standards. Not a lot of counter space. |- Parking. This is hard not to list as a “Good” as there is a large public lot right across the street. But I would imagine it fills up in high season and there isn’t a lot of on-street parking nearby. ||Overall we had a good stay. The receptionist, Philippa was excellent. Spoke good English and was very helpful throughout our stay. We left something in the room and immediately got an email from her about it. The restaurant was closed during our stay (mid November)
