We stayed at BP International Hotel for 4 days in a Harbour Parkview Double Room as a family of three. The room was very spacious with plenty of space for luggage, and it even had an ironing board and iron, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the MTR station, with a park, several restaurants, and convenience stores nearby for essentials like bottled water. There’s a mini fridge to store drinks, and the room comes with a water kettle, complimentary coffee, and basic toiletries (though no toothbrush or toothpaste). Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and restocked everything, which we really appreciated. We also had a lovely view from our room. The only downsides were that the pillows had a slight odor and the room lighting was a bit dim for my liking. Other than that, the service and location were both excellent. We’ll definitely book here again!

Excellent stay, made perfect by the fantastic front desk staff! They were welcoming, efficient, and helpful throughout our visit. A truly great first impression of the hotel. The best part is the location – it's so close to West Kowloon Station, making trips to mainland China super convenient. Highly recommended!

Paid for 2pm check in to 11am check out. But then room wont be ready till 6pm. That’s 4 hours past the check in time. Offering free drinks won’t do anything. I have been at the airport since 7pm last night. 10 hour flight. Slept at the airport till noon to wait for the 2pm check in. Only to be told it’ll be ready by 6pm. This is so unprofessional. Booking has been made ahead of time. This is not a last minute booking. You had enough time to get everything sorted out. Dont get me wrong. The staff are lovely and very nice. But they must be understaffed hence they cant get the room ready on time. This is unacceptable. Extremely disappointing and terrible management.

Don’t love this place. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel that’s easily accessible via transit and is in the middle of everything, this is great. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay, probably best finding someplace else. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful for the most part. I don’t remember a single outstanding interaction other than the cleaning staff. 10/10 for the cleaning staff except for the one time they cleaned the room and there was a coffee stain on the pillow. Rooms felt unclean and we were even told that the carpets were dirty. Curtains were falling apart. The only amenities they had were washing and drying machines, but their drying machines barely worked — me and my friends all had damp clothes by the end of the cycle and had to air dry them ourselves. I will say that the location is fantastic. For a busy vacation, it was nice to be able to stay in a hotel that was so close to an MTR station. So yeah, I guess it depends on what you’re looking for in a place to stay. I wouldn’t say I regret staying here but I don’t know if I would stay here again.

I stayed here 5 times in the last 12 months. The property itself is ok (a little old and tired) but the staff really made this hotel. This is especially true of the housekeeping and the concierge/porter. My man, Alex, at the concierge deserves a special mention. He is always cheerful, friendly and helpful. The location is great as well. Restaurants, convenience stores within short distances. Subway, train stations and buses so close. But I will always return because of their people.

I love it here. As first timer and seeing a Bible in the drawer. Plus knowing it's the center for Hong Kong Scouts. I felt safe to bring my family here. The ultimate thing is the view from the 23rd floor. As our first time in HK. It's a really a great experience. I think they just need to dry the pillow in sun light or dry it a little longer. But aside from that. I'm very happy with our stay.

Very nice hotel that we got for an amazing price. Clean and well presented everywhere, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms very well spaced enough for us to have two open suitcases on the ground. The city view from upper floors is absolutely stunning and the hotel is a super short walk from Jordan metro station and nearby busy streets particularly for evening times. My only complaint is that the mattress was absolutely rock solid so sleeping wasn't exactly comfortable.

Google
Room small on club level. Does not give club privileges. Bed very hard. No coffee in room. When asking at checking staff does not offer any upgrade or idea of how you get lounge access. Not as we expected from our Web search. This is a smoke free hotel so no designated smoking area you can sit in to sip coffee, have a morning cigarette and wake up.

Yelp
This hotels main value is location. Near Nathan road, we were just a few minutes walk from the pier. We got a Big Bus tour ticket and we could access several points. It also we were within walking distance to the pharmacy, convenience stores and shopping malls. The rooms were OK, clean sheets, good water pressure, dark curtains, excellent AC. The breakfast (buffet) was included and there are plenty of choices for all kind of tastes. Staff mostly is bilingual so you won't want problems asking things around and requesting help. They have currency exchange at the lobby, which is very convenient if you like to gradually exchange your money per day. The Flamingo bar has a large choice of drinks and you get 15% if you are staying in the hotel! Internet / WiFi is EXCELLENT everywhere in the room and hotel. Kudos to that! Oh! There is a door by the main lobby that will connect to a bus station! The reason I gave them 4 stars is because they don't have amenities (gym nor pool) and because one day I was charged $50 HKD for a cup of lemon Lipton tea. Not specialty tea, not afternoon tea time, nothing special. I just wanted a cup of tea and that's what the manager said it was the price (plus the 10% service charge it came to 55). I am not cheap, but honestly that was overpriced and really upset me. I just wanted to leave it in writing.

Yelp
Let's start off with the negative things: There are no amenities, no breakfast included, the rooms are super small, and the elevators are on the slower side. Normally, I'd rate hotels like this a 3-star (mediocre). BUT, what makes this a 4-star rating are the following highlights are: 1. Location: this hotel is in great proximity to shops, food, MTR train stations, malls, everything you need. If you're up for a walking tour, you can get to the Star Ferry, Ave of the Stars, Jade Market, and many other attractions. 2. Service: the service is superb! Upon our arrival, they were out of rooms with double/queen beds. My husband and I got a room with two twins. They told us they'd send someone up to move our beds together and within 5 minutes a guy came up and combined our beds. He was super fast, really friendly and even got extra towels we requested for us. After our first night, our air conditioner stopped blowing super cold air. Instead, it was working more like a fan. We called the front desk and within 5 minutes, a maintenance man fixed the problem. We had nice cold air to our satisfaction. 4. Wifi: the free wifi is fast and free. 3. Price: this hotel was a pretty decent value. For less than $150 a night, with close proximity to everything and superb service, I'd totally recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a decent place to sleep.

Yelp
Nice establishment with staff who is friendly and willing to assist. Upon our arrival from the USA we found that somehow, our reservation had been cancelled. We were advised that the only room available was a FAMILY room that sleeps 4 at a much higher rate. In an attempt to find lodging, my daughter and I stood in the lobby, both on our phones looking for accommodations for our stay in HKG (a stay that had been planned for 4 months). Internet service was slow (we did not have the ability to launch the hotel WiFi, yet) and we were having a HARD time. Fortunately, unbeknownst to us, the Manager noticed us and inquired. The Manager made arrangements to give us our room at the same rate we had originally booked!! Wonderful customer service and we appreciate his efforts, tremendously.

Yelp
This hotel, connected to the Scouts, is well run, with clean rooms, decent prices, and if you ask, offers a great view of Hong Kong island's skyline. Their breakfast is also excellent - a very large continental breakfast.

Yelp
"Baden Powell International House" is a well-priced, conveniently located hotel with all the amenities one would expect as a discerning traveller. The hotel's name, probably senseless to most, hints at deep British roots; unfortunately the British influence doesn't make it much further than the main lobby... except for the gift shop of course, where you can dress your kids up as Cub Scouts. For a HK hotel in this price range, however, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are the typical hard, China-style versions one comes to expect, but they're better than most. The restaurant/lounge is nice and has a well-rounded international menu. The hotel staff is helpful and nearly all are fluent in English. The hotel is a 25 minute walk to Kowloon Metro Station and a 15 minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui Station. If you have some time, take a walk in the adjoining Kowloon Park and join in some Tai Chi! Overall, this hotel is a great place to stay if you're travelling for work or looking for a good home base from which to explore the city.

Yelp
It's definitely one of my top choices for hotels when traveling to Hong Kong. Pretty convenient location, just a few blocks from the Jordan MTR station and about a 15 minute walk to Star Ferry (if accessibility to public transportation is a consideration like it is for me). It's also just a few blocks from the Temple Street Night Market if that's one of your favorite attractions (like it is for me, like going there late night for seafood). Very well-priced compared to similar hotels in the area. I don't think there's an on-site restaurant other than a big dining room, but then one just have to step outside the hotel and there's plenty of local-style restaurant within very short walking distance.

Yelp
No amenities (no gym, pool, etc). However, this hotel had decent rates and was in a great location. Just next door is a water park, park with aviary, and numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance. Bus stop to the airport and around the city are also very close by. The hotel itself is no frills and unremarkable. We got a room with 2 bunk beds for our party of 4, which was very tight. The beds were comfortable enough and it was great to have our room turned over every morning (very fast cleaning service). The space between the beds and between the desk thing on the wall is very narrow. Only one person could pass by at a time. The bathroom was also very tiny. The shower could only accommodate one person at a time. All in all this is a good hotel to just sleep in and nothing else. Good for business trips probably. Service was pretty good and we were able to be moved from a smoking room to a non-smoking very quickly (we had requested to be on a non-smoking floor but the first room we went into clearly had smokers recently). There's a coin-operated laundry room on one of the floors and you have to get tokens from the front desk. You don't need to buy soap because the machines are hooked up to soap dispensers which was nice.
