It’s lovely here :) The space could be more accessible—the aisles are pretty difficult to navigate as a plus size person with sensory processing issues—but the staff is sweet, the vibe is good, and the signage outside is very welcoming.

This place has potential, it’s a cute shop in a great location. They have tons of local artists items and lots of earrings. On Fridays it’s mandatory to wear masks, the people working there aren’t necessarily rude but they aren’t friendly at all. I was basically yelled at to put on a mask because it’s Friday, not even sure what that means. Prices are a little on the high side but with location it’s expected.

i really like b resale and in general think it's a great place to buy and sell clothes! however, the organization is a little tough to navigate, particularly as a trans person—i often see clothes in "men's" or unisex cuts, brands, and sizes labeled as "femme". since i am mostly looking for more masc-leaning or unisex styles, it makes it much more difficult to find stuff when the clothes that would work for me are hidden away in the (much larger) "femme" section. would feel a bit more welcoming and easier to shop with less arbitrarily gendered sorting (e.g. by waist size or type of item (like shorts, tees, or denim)) imo!

b. Resale is one of my favorite consignment/second hand stores in the area! They have a great variety of vintage, second hand, and locally made items, and I find everything to be pretty reasonably priced. The vibe is also on point with great music and fun dressing rooms.

I love B resale, it’s local, sustainable, they have harm reduction resources available, and are a hub to drop off clothing for our unhoused neighbors as well. You can drop off your clothes for unlimited store credit, or get a portion as cash. Be sure to check what they currently need because they don’t accept everything all the time. They carry plenty of cool decor and jewelry and accessories from local artists and they fashion curation is top tier. Also a really cute store overall, very good vibes, check it out!

A colorful and well-organized spot for thrifting clothing! The sizes are clearly marked, and they have a fun selection of jewelry and accessories. I didn't find anything in particular this time around, but I would definitely come back!

Yelp
I love B Resale. I found out about them on instagram, and instantly started following. They post new items and fun outfit ideas. I go to B every couple of months or so and I often find awesome things. I am a size large and I feel like they have a decent amount of bigger things (most vintage/resale stores cater to the smaller ladies). B is a resale shop so they have some vintage but also have a lot of Banana Republic, j.crew, and other more contemporary brands. I appreciate this. I would say their stock is similar to Buffalo exchange, but the added bonus that I am supporting a locally owned shop with B! I like a resale store where I can find basic sweaters and shirts, but also work things and dresses to wear to events. And everything is reasonably priced. I have purchased things from $5 to $32. They also have great guy stuff! My boyfriend likes to go to B and has gotten nice sweaters, a killer leather jacket, and nike kicks. I have also sold here, and felt it was a good experience.

Yelp
Went in to sell some clothing. In total, I had 43 items. They took 38. Offered me $24. Seriously?!?! I figured, whatever. Won't ever be able to fit into these mostly brand new clothes since I whaled out partly due to Covid (beer took a front seat for the ride also). The goth gal at the register was completely rude. Or just seriously unhappy. Likely both. Perhaps she was just having a bad day. I let it slide. But when I got home, I realized I was not even given $24 at all. It was $18 in one dollar bills. I just presumed they were handing me $24. The place is very tiny. It does not smell well. Clothes are not in the best shape. I was concerned I picked up a case of bed bugs by just walking in the open door.

Yelp
Love this spot! I usually purchase things off of their Instagram for pick up. The staff are so kind and are always cheerful when I stop in. The selection is definitely well thought-out and well-priced. You're able to get great clothes at fabulous prices.

Yelp
I really liked this place when I stopped! They were on the vintage fall crawl so I visited a few times to get my stamp and them when I won I visited again to purchase a vintage looking one piece swimsuit. They have really unique stuff, mostly modern and prices are very affordable. It's a small pace and it can get busy! Fun accessories, so much to look at! Staff could be a little more friendly but nothing to deter me from visiting again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
This shop is so so cute inside, definitely need to go check it out :) the staff is super helping and kind as well If you love to go thrifting and need a lowkey and adorable store to stroll into I most definitely recommend this one !

Yelp
I am a south MPLS native and a regular here. the clothing is really not as selective as they make it seem. So many items are stained and damaged. The Jean selection is....skinny jeans. Just skinny jeans. Allow rise too. I did score some sick adidas here once! Seems like more of a tag stock vibe than a place to find some thrifted treasures

Yelp
b. caught my eye a few years ago when I saw them posting recent acquisitions on Instagram. It was such a cool way to see what they'd have in store, and a posted pair of shoes drew me in. Since then, the selection for men has gotten much smaller. I'm not sure if they've cut back on accepting purchases on cis-male clothing (and my fiancée attested to a "decent" selection for women's clothing), but I was able to go through every item within three minutes. As mentioned elsewhere, the staff isn't very friendly and seems to try to get people out of the store as soon as possible. Also worth mentioning that they don't purchase clothing from you within an hour of closing (I came in 59 minutes before shutdown). There are other shops that seem to do it better with a wider selection in the Cities, but it's worth dropping in to see if you'll have luck. Or check their Instagram!

Yelp
I was so excited to come to this store especially because I was just at their vintage location and had a really great experience! Sadly I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience. The store itself was cute but one of the employees was AWFUL. I've never been so disrespectful by a retail employee ever. It was crazy too because it wasn't just one specific comment or scenario it was the entire time we were in the store. Dirty looks, rude comments, disrespectful body language. I was appalled. Definitely ruined the entire experience and will not be going back.

Grace S.

Yelp
Great store but one of the employees was awful. About 5'8'', white, brown hair, and brown eyes. Rude, not helpful, snarky, and just overall unpleasant. She ruined the entire vibe and experience of the store with her out of pocket comments and looks. I would fire her if I was the owner. Never going back and never recommending the store to anyone because she was so horrible. Wish I got her name but was too scared to even ask.

Yelp
Your website and Google both say you open at Noon on Sundays. It is currently 12:23 PM and you are closed.

Yelp
The employees may seem unfriendly at first but will warm up to you if you try to make conversation with them. I think they just like to give customers space while they shop.

Yelp
I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to check this place out. I spent a lot of time browsing the racks, but couldn't find anything that caught my eye. I'll give this place another shot another time. On another note, I think it's great how they're using Instagram to advertise their new items.

Elliot B.

Yelp
Great men's selection, especially outerwear and accessories. I always find at least an item or two per visit. I've also sold here for a couple years now and have never been disappointed! Very friendly and helpful staff too.

Yelp
"And we don't do bags" If I wasn't so thrown off and amused by that statement as the items of clothing I just purchased were pushed toward me I think I would have felt some kind of way. We don't do bags, um ok, if I had bought a ton of shit at your store and needed a bag you would have had to find me one. Other than that. I liked this store. I thought the prices were very reasonable for a resale shop and they have great quality merchandise. I specifically made a trip here because I was visiting Minneapolis and I heard good things about this store. I follow them on Instagram and it looks like they do a lot of cool in-store events and they also post merchandise that you can purchase and they will ship out to you. I even bought a sweet Kitten Play shirt. I can't wait to wear it.

Yelp
b. resale is a consignment shop that just moved up Nicollet quite a few blocks to Eat Street (across from Peninsula). I'd never been to the original shop, but I guess I was hoping for a little bit more. I browsed around a bit and a lot of the merchandise just doesn't seem to be in great shape in comparison to other consignment shops in town. Maybe this'll change as they turn over the old stuff and get some fresh bits in there, but I didn't see anything I'd need in my closet. Actually scratch that. There was one section for repurposed original designs that was sweet. I mulled over a cropped sweater with a sheer back that was straight outta the '80s. I loved it. Otherwise though, I'm sad to say the selection didn't impress very much. Looking forward to coming back soon and hopefully seeing improvements---I'm sure the move has probably slowed down some of the fresh incoming goods.

Yelp
Cute little shop that caught my eye while I was walking to the donut shop next-door. Upon entering you're greeted with the familiar smell of incents.. (I'm personally not a fan.) They sell all sorts of things you would find at your usual thrift type of store like clothes, shoes, purses.. etc. The one thing that sets this place apart from others is that it is very well ORGANIZED! Clothing is sorted by size, purses are kept in a general area, shoes are along the tops of racks and also all sorted by size. I was very impressed with how clean the store was, and I noticed that some things were actually still new with tags! There are changing areas in the back corner to try things on, and also in the back corner is a hidden little clearance rack! Up by the front counter there are cases full of assorted things along with some really neat jewelry. There were rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces that all had ties to the Mpls/St. Paul area, and there were MN shaped pieces of jewelry too! Felt like I was shopping on etsy!

Yelp
Every time I go to b. I find something fantastic to wear and at a reasonable price. The atmosphere in the new location is great and with its bigger space there is even more selection to look through! They have a great selection of MN swag and they also sell all sorts of goods made by local artists. Be sure to follow b. on instragram and facebook so you can get a first look at new items and hear about local events. I don't only go to b. for the shopping, they also host a variety of in store events, from nail art events to trunk shows there is often something fun happening at b.! And it's nice that my husband and I can go shopping here together and both leave with something fantastic! Love this shop!

Yelp
When I'm feeling adventurous, my go-to place is a consignment shop! This place was a delightful discovery after I stopped for a treated at Glam Doll Donuts. (Which is directly beside this place.) I'm a sucker for accessories and for Minnesota apparel, and these guys have it! When you walk in you're welcomed by an array of Minnesota shirts and sweatshirts as well as locally made clothes. Lots of necklaces, earrings and sunglasses to choose from. I browsed the racks in the store and didn't have anything catch my eyes. When you walk in, don't expect to be in Savers. This place is well kept and a little more expensive than a typically resale store.

Yelp
I stopped in here after seeing some MN tees in the window. Browsed through the clothing and there is a decent selection. From my experience buffalo exchange has a better selection but they may have higher prices, I didn't spend much time with it. B resale has a good selection of shoes from Nike to Steve Madden. They also have jewelry and handmade pieces by local artists. They carry some purses, artwork, incense, and oils too. A Little bit of everything. What really got me was the local tees. They have MN tees for ~$20 that aren't cheesy tourist shirts but cool tanks and tees. I end up walking by when I eat out on eat street so I'll end up dropping in or when I see things on their Instagram which they update frequently

Yelp
Prices are super reasonable and the selection is generally quite awesome. There are some questionably worn items in rotation, but I usually find something I want from here whenever I stop in! Reading the reviews made me feel a little better about the customer service I've encountered while in. Like some others have mentioned, the staff here (including the owner) are not especially friendly. I once sold some stuff while the owner was working by herself. The exchange was brisk and all but totally silent, and she never made eye contact with me once. Have never felt particularly welcomed as a shopper in this store. Aside from the poor customer service interactions, love that this space is female-owned and that they have fun events here. I always feel more comfortable shopping at small businesses that act like they actually value my patronage, is all...

Kayla Y.

Yelp
For a company that appears to really want to do business during COVID closures, they make it extremely difficult to pick up things you already paid for. Also I had to call 3 times before anyone would pick up when I could see people in the store through the window, which is rude.

Sydney P.

Yelp
Items here are very trendy. The staff is not overly helpful, but the place has a great, hipster vibe. Prices are also good and if you pick up the resale guide booklet they have you can get 20% off of everything. I would recommend stopping in and the neighborhood is very cool as well!

Yelp
Solid resale shop. I haven't really scored with the clothes, but I'm a fan of their accessories and jewelry. I'm a bit of a clothing hoarder, and I always donated my clothes to Arc's because selling just seemed like too much work. My sister convinced me to bring my oldies but goodies to b, and I'm glad I did. They're very fair with buying clothes, and it's totally worth the extra trip before donating. The owner is very helpful and down to earth - there's no snobbyness when you sell to her, and she doesn't make you feel bad if she's not buying or your clothes don't match the store. I've found a couple goodies via their instagram page. They will post items, and you can hold them for 2 days which is an awesome concept. Be quick though because these hipsters are on it! Ch ch check it out...#buylocal

Yelp
I recently discovered B resale and made a great purchase my first time in! I came across this store on Instagram, where they post some of the new pieces that come into the store that you can have held or shipped to you. I saw a dress I really wanted and made my way in to check it out in person. The store is organized, clean, and not overpriced like many of the local second hand retailers. B resale also sells jewelry and various items from local artists/sellers. I picked up a MN state necklace here for $10! The store owner is friendly and they host parties and sales often.

Yelp
Found this place thanks to Yelp! Walked in and within a few minutes I had found plenty of great items :) The location is pretty convenient & easy to get to. The store was very clean, organized, neat & smelled fresh (unlike other consignment & resale shops) I walked out with 2 dresses and 2 blouses.. Very pleased with my purchases :)

Yelp
I always find something at b. It is equal parts resale and local artists. Also, I am a size 18 and I often have trouble finding things at resale shops, but have always found something at b. Last score was a pair of Levis, a grey cocoon sweater and three pairs of wooden earrings - all for under $30.

Yelp
Very cute and easy to navigate. Pretty specific in what they buy, but that's what makes the selection SO. GOOD. Their instagram is probably what motivates me most to stop in at least every other week. ALWAYS go with a friend, so much more fun. They're dog friendly, as long as it's not the size of a pony. I've read lots of reviews about their poor customer service, and I have noticed it myself, but if you make the effort first, they'll catch up to play! I respect that not everyone always wants to talk, but I really think that's the only improvement this woman-run store needs! It's right next to the BEST Twin Cities donuts shop, and a bunch of other restaurants. Shopping and eating- anything better?

Yelp
I love this shop! The new location is great with the extra room and extra dressing rooms. It is my favorite spot to go to with girlfriends, and I always find 1-2 treasures that I wear all the time. Prices are very reasonable and the selection is refreshing! The music is great, and the shop owner is very nice.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this shop so much. It's got a really nice selection of stuff & the prices are super reasonable. Some of my favorite jewelry has come from here & the people that work here are quite nice as well. Get in there!

Hannah B.

Yelp
I can comfortably say that I feel the prices on all items are reasonable for a resale shop, considering many of the items I saw in this store were in semi-rough shape. Whenever I sell to a buy outright consignment shop, I make sure what I bring in is in great shape. Most things are like new, other items they may be a bit worn, but always within reason; if it's trashed, it goes in the trash. I felt that after I sold to them, I was somewhat ripped off, considering what I sold was in better shape than comparable products on their racks. You would think they would charge a bit more for nicer, cleaner items and thus, pay you more for them. I love that they have locally sourced goods, like accessories, but I feel it's safe to say that I probably won't ever sell for trade, in which case it might be more worth it for me to take my business elsewhere in the future. They took 75% of what I brought in which was great, but I would have preferred to receive the amount I was offered in trade somewhere else where I find more trade-worthy pieces on their racks. The employees could have been more helpful and perhaps a bit friendlier. Overall, not a bad experience.
