B13 Hostel

I had an amazing 1 week here & besides the convenient location close to just about everything what made my stay special was the hospitality of DULAN a friendly associate of the hostel. He’s soft spoke but full of knowledge of the local area. Dylan also shared his personal dream of raising a family & to live a happy married life. I wish him my very best!! The hostel has several showers so you never have to wait :)

This is so far, one of the best hostels I have stayed in Europe and the best hostel I have stayed in Romania. In general, I don’t put a review about hostels because they always have something that I don’t like too much, but it’s normal because it’s a hostel, so you can’t expect much comfort in them. But in the case of this place you feel the same comfort and cleanliness as if you are in a hotel. I came in low season, so there was not much social vibe, but for me it was perfect because I was looking for some calm. The beds are very comfortable, they have big lockers (you bring your padlock or they offer to buy it if you need it). The location it’s right in the center. There is not always a staff available in person, but even by chat or in some way if you need it, there will always be someone to answer you. As a female traveler, I felt very safe here. I recommend it!

Kitchen is full of cockroaches. Shower room smells of mold so strongly it's nauseating. Rooms are very warm and open onto busy street so unless you have earplugs good luck sleeping.

The rooms of this hostel are in very good conditions. The beds are actually trully comfortable and everything is clean. The service is amazing. There is a small kitchen where you can cook something, make some tea or coffee. Something that I definitely liked were the separate showers and bathrooms that were for each gender. The location/placement of the building is perfect. There are many restaurants, shops, fast-foods and places to deserve to be visited around. The staff was great. Very kind, quick and responsive to any question or demand. This hostel is an amazing place to meet people all around the world and make new friends. One of the best experiences I ever had!

Huge hostel, located in the city center of Sibiu. Clean, good atmosphere and so handy. ROOMS: the rooms are big and spacious, with bunk beds. Small light and plugs close to the bed. Comfortable bed and linen includes. Also there was a desk and some chairs. BATHROOMS: There are several in the hostel. Hot water and good pressure. Shower has only curtain, not cabine. KITCHEN: kitchen with 2 fridge and 2 freezer (one of them you can regulate the temperature). Not possible to fry or baking, according to the rules. Considering the hostel size, the kitchen is small, but it has everything for basic cooking. COMMON SPACES: There is a huge room with a big table, some couches... FACILITIES: sheets included, not towel (1€ extra). Lockers in the hallway, with possibility of having à lo k from the hostel. Hostel not suitable for people with reduced mobility, long stairs to access it.

Worst hostel I have stayed at in a long time. There was no vibe whatsoever, not even sure if there was other travelers there, only had two long terms in my room just staying in bed all day. The staff was petty much useless, the first one was on the phone the whole time and the next one answered my questions by "Just Google it". Nowhere was really clean, even saw cockroaches in the kitchen. I wasn't a fan of the showers where you can see other people's face while showering and the shower I used had to hot water. Beds were not very comfortable and pillows were too big. The room was very warm even with the windows open, windows that are facing the very busy main pedestrian street which was very noisy. The price was not cheap either, definitely not worth the money. My advice; just stay in the numerous great hostel in Brasov, Deva or Bucharest and do a day trip from there.

Hostel Review: Excellent Stay with Exceptional Management I recently stayed at B13 hostel, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, setting the tone for an enjoyable stay. The manager, Shahrukh khan, was the epitome of hospitality. Their dedication to ensuring guests had a comfortable stay was unparalleled. They were always available, eager to assist, and went above and beyond to accommodate every request. The hostel itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The common areas fostered a sense of community among travelers, making it easy to meet new people and share experiences. The rooms were tidy, and the facilities were well-equipped, meeting all basic needs.

Hostel location is among the best places to stay, but makes the hostel the best is the people who take care of you. Khan is incredibly good at this and has a great relationship with people. I've stayed at this hostel for about 2 months and whenever I have a need, just say it. I had unforgettable experiences with the cleanliness and order of the rooms and Khan's attention. Opportunities to work whenever I want in the social rooms and being close to everywhere were also a great advantage.
