Impeccable boutique hotel experience. The hotel is close from everything yet outside the beaten track. Service is exceptional and pricing worth it (400 chf fro my super comfortable 25m2 room decorated brilliantly). Staff is super helpful from reception to the restaurant area. Everything makes you feel at home or at a great friend's house who has taste in interior decoration :)

Spent three nights here in May. Excellent staff at every corner. Hotel is up on a hill by google’s office. It is walkable to public transportation, and about a thirty minute walk to the train station. The hotel is connected to a spa, which was fantastic. Booked it for one day, and then again the next day. It has a rooftop pool as well as multiple large spas, saunas and steam rooms. You can walk there from your hotel room in your hotel-provided robe and slippers. The hotel itself was modern, and felt brand new. Everything looked and operated flawlessly. Room was spacious. Service from the staff was very good.

We stayed for two nights and this hotel deserves positive reviews on different subjects. First the service. At all levels the service was great, mistakes were handled transparently and graciously. To the manager hiring and training people: master teach me! Architecture Very successful repurposing architecture and interior design as well, delivering accessible and practical luxury. For business travelers: The desk has enough space to work and electrical outlets at reach. Something basic that many branded hotels miss. Spa I don’t have much experience with spa’s but can definitely recommend the rooftop pool. Great views and there was a sunset pool event which I would normally run away from, but the staff was so inviting that we helped them increase the average age at the event and had a great time.

Had a pleasant stay at B2 Hotel. The room was clean and well-kept, and I appreciated the daily restocked drinks in the fridge, a nice touch. However, I was disappointed that spa and pool access required an extra fee, and I wasn’t even allowed to see the facilities before deciding. Breakfast was underwhelming with limited options and some basic dishes falling short. On the bright side, the customer service was solid throughout.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — starting with complimentary welcome drinks and even lending us travel adapters when needed.||Our room was spacious, spotless, and very well-appointed, with quality toiletries and a free minibar that was a lovely bonus. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for comfort and convenience.||Breakfast is simple but fresh and good quality. You can have your choice of eggs and a good continental offering. This is the only area there could be slight improvement - at times service was slow for drinks and table not always cleaned or prepared with cutlery but it was minor. ||The rooftop jacuzzi pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and we also enjoyed the spa facilities located in the basement — accessible via lift and available at an extra cost (just ask reception for a bracelet). ||The location was ideal: tucked away in a quiet area, yet only about a 20-minute walk to the city center, making it both peaceful and accessible.||All in all, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere in a well-connected location.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The hospitality and room service were excellent. We had requested special arrangements for our honeymoon before we arrived, and they truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect

The bar is nice and comfortable. And the staff is very friendly. I only find the coffee a bit disappointing. They use great locally roasted coffee beans (Miro), but seem to brew them with an automatic machine that doesn't do them justice at all. The espresso is too watery and the milk too hot. They might as well use much cheaper beans if they don't improve the preparation.

Google
! I had a wonderful experience at B2 Hotel Zurich. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were stylish and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The on-site bar and restaurant were also excellent. Overall, a fantastic place to stay — highly recommended!

Yelp
I can't say enough about how amazing this hotel is. This place is the epitome of what a boutique hotel should be. The staff is class act. The location is perfectly nestled away and still central enough to hit all the right places. The rooms are classy and designed like a 20 year old student protege designer had free hand to do whatever he wanted. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with cheese that I never tasted before and great Pastry selection. The pool and the underground Roman bathroom are a must. The roof top pool is one of the coolest rooftop pools you have ever been to in your life. I guarantee it ! The underground Roman baths are an unbelievable surprise ! In a nut shel this place is 6 stars

Yelp
Their thermal bath and spa is something to take advantage of while in Zurich. I stopped at B2 Boutique + Spa after being a week in Europe and this was just what I needed to re-cool in the middle of the trip. Everyone is very polite here. You do have to pay to use the lockers (2 francs, given back to you when you leave), for the robes, and towels etc. I do like that once you check in, you get a bracelet that you can scan to utilize the facilities, as well as charge your expenses to - including the cafeteria! My favorite spot had to be the rooftop pool. It's a gorgeous view and very relaxing. I would love to find a place like this back home. Not super crowded on a weekday, and definitely a hit with couples. They do not allow phones here, but I still managed to snap a picture or two of myself on the roof and in the spa. Staff will call you out if they see your phone but there were also plenty of people snapping photos when no one was looking. It does seem pretty invasive in this serene environment, but they can't blame you for wanting to capture the beauty! The thermal baths and the steam rooms smell of lavender and other herbs. It is really a great place to renew your energy! Loved coming here and would definitely come back.

Yelp
Had a great experience here. Loved the rooftop pool and service was fantastic, especially Hajro at the front desk. He was so friendly and excellent at his job; providing helpful information, even helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations.

Yelp
This is the best place to stay while visiting or working in Zurich! The staff is extraordinary! They are all so helpful, nice, and friendly. They are always able to help with last minute booking changes, restaurant suggestions, and even let us borrow a jacket when one of our teammates forgot his and had to go buy one. The spa is top notch and hotel guests are treated to complimentary access to the rooftop pool every morning from 7:30-9:00am. It is SO WORTH IT to wake up and watch the sun rise over Zurich, even if it is snowing on your face. The pool is super clean and the spa below in the Thermalbad is UNREAL! Definitely worth checking out. The Library is their exquisite room reminiscent of something found in Beauty & the Beast and you can get food most hours there. Hotel guests are treated to a complimentary breakfast every morning with fresh egg options, fresh fruits and juices, cheeses and meats, assortment of breads, and whatever warm beverage can kick your day off right. The rooms are clean and simple and perfect for any guest! The hotel is quiet, beautiful, and is only a quick walk away from the train station and lake. The BEST!

Yelp
This is not a 5 star hotel BUT great business traveling location. The rooms accommodate the business traveler, super bandwidth (WiFI), a small fridge with drinks including 1 beer to end the day, great spa pool in basement, another great pool on the roof with great view of Zurich but the real gem is the library area where I always get a lovely glass of wine and cheese plate.

Yelp
Do you want to chat with a friend in private? It's summer time, a warm suffocating day and you wish you could find a fresh and cosy bar? It is early in the morning, the bars are still closed and you need a quiet place to spend hours working on your laptop? I've found the right spot for you: the Library of the B2 Boutique Hotel +Spa in the former Hürlimann brewery. The Library is an inviting place for business meetings, chilling out, chatting, surfing, flirting and networking ... Simply amazing and inspiring. Over there is the breakfast served and the wine bar offers all day long (until 11.30pm) a small range of light dishes and beverages with local wines and of course the legendary Hürlimann beer. The hotel has 2 boardrooms and 60 rooms of various categories: Standard, Executive, Junior Suite and Suite. Each one of them is unique and is decorated with a stylish industrial character. As external guest you cannot enjoy it, but the must for hotel guests is the direct access to the spa. Of course, for an expert of Swiss thermal baths as I am, I've already tested it and it is indeed absolutely unique. I love the archaic barrel vaults of the former brewery and the inner decoration is a beauty, but most of all it is the fantastic 360° view over the city of Zurich from the roof pool that makes me every time speechless! Don't you?

Yelp
Best spa my wife and I have ever been to, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff! The wine library is an incredible setting for dinner. 12/10 would recommend and will annoyingly tell all my friends about it until they go.

Yelp
It's my 2nd time here. August 2012 (3 weeks), last week of Oct 2013 (1 week). I love this hotel. The room is really nice and clean with up to date amenities. The staff are always helpful and smiling, special mention to Isabell who really helped me out during my stay here. She even suggested to box my breakfast if I want so I can bring it to my train since I have to live at around 740a (breakfast starts at 730a). You should try the spa, it's all worth it as you can use it for 24h. Always the best! Will recommend and will come back. PS - Oh this year they provided us with a free drink in the library/bar and a free hurlimann beer everyday in our room ref. That's nice!

Yelp
Amazing hotel. The spa is the best I've been to. Numerous thermal pools, very spacious. I will be back everyday during my stay. Also the service is so good.

Yelp
I'm giving the B2 4 stars based mostly on the hotel's proximity to my company's office in Zurich. While the hotel is very nice and the rooms well appointed, if a little small (which is mostly the case in basic European hotels) there isn't much else of note here. The bar is virtually non-existent, with just two chairs and a limited selection of beer, wine and spirits. Speaking of limited, both the dining menu and the breakfast buffet is very sparse. Perhaps my biggest knock on the B2 is the fact that they charge an additional CHF25 for access to the spa area. For the CHF315 per night I'm spending, I would expect to swim and soak in a hot tub for free. Next time I'm in Zurich, I'll stay at the Sheraton Four Points or the Marriott.

Yelp
This hotel is a cross between a library and a hotel. There are books everywhere. Books on shelves in the lobby. Books in the hotel rooms. Tables made out of books. Staff is friendly and helpful. I loved the atmosphere. The rooms were nice and mine didn't feel like it was a stock hotel room, as is often the case in larger hotels. My room had a modern widescreen T.V., a desk and a large modern bathroom. It also (of course) had its own custom collection of books

Yelp
EDIT: Original posting below, but want to thank Nina for reaching out to me while I was still at the hotel. She remedied the situation with the corkage fee and chatted with me about the rest of my review. Extremely professional and courteous! To add to my review -- the hotel itself is quite lovely and unique! The rooms were beautiful. And the chicken caesar salad I ordered from the restaurant was also really good. Nina also explained that part of the reason for the small menu is intentional -- they only use local, in-season produce and try to stay authentic to the atmosphere of the hotel. Seems totally reasonable :) Overall, great customer service easily makes up for the minor issue I had. Looking forward to staying here again! ### Original review ### This is specifically for the restaurant (FYI - the check-in, hotel room, etc., service, etc., I'd easily rate 4-5 stars). I was underwhelmed and then disappointed. In terms of being underwhelmed, it's a very small menu for lunch and dinner (and it's the same menu for lunch and dinner), so good luck if you end up needing to eat at the hotel twice in one day. I ordered the NY style cheesecake -- it was anything but. It was OK, but definitely not NY-style (wrong taste, wrong consistency, wrong flavor, served wrong, wrong crust, wrong type of cheese used...). The burger, however, was pretty good. I came down one afternoon, around 1500, no one was around. I had brought down a bottle of wine I had bought. Asked them to open it and if I could camp out and work. No problem... well, 1 glass later, I was informed there was a problem. A $25 corkage fee problem. Very disappointing they didn't disclose this -- especially when there was no one else around. It's not like I was taking business from them - I got a wine they don't serve (because they have a terrible wine selection) and I'm staying at their hotel and wanted a place to work and sip on some wine. If they had an alternative place, I would have worked there.

Yelp
Great spa in the basement. Expensive -- better to stay here on a business trip than on your own dollar.
