B28 Apartments

Amazing aparthotel in the heart of Porto. We absolutely loved our stay here. Staff were helpful and responded quickly if we needed help with anything. The apartment itself was extremely well equipped for self catered accommodation, and the fresh breakfast every day was lovely - healthy and delicious, perfect before a day of exploring. Location was great, very central to a lot of attractions and within walking distance of all sorts of local amenities. If we visit Porto again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, really excellent. Thanks Alida & the team!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect - right in the heart of the city, and walkable to all the attractions and restaurants you’ll want to visit. The room is super cozy, but spacious, and has really nice interior design. We loved the contrast between the old brick and modern woodworking. The view from the patio was incredible, and the room came equipped with coffee/ French press and a bottle of wine, which we enjoyed in our evening/morning down time. The bed was big and comfortable, and the shower had great heat and water pressure. Everything was clean and pristine. Check in was super easy - we had a mild hiccup with checkout, since we left on a Monday and reception was not open. But they still offered to coordinate with the house keeper to watch our luggage, even though we opted to use a storage locker instead. As a heads up, It can be a bit noisy, because you are on a fairly well traveled street - you might hear folks coming home late from the bars or construction across the street in the morning on weekdays. It didn’t really bother us though.

This was a beautiful apartment to stay in while in Porto. We had the fifth floor apartment for four nights. We are quite fit and used the climb up and down (ten flights of stairs up) as adding to our daily exercise. Some people would definitely have difficulty with the climb. The spaciousness of the rooms, the view and the location were all excellent. The kitchen was well equipped and breakfast was good on our first morning, but just ok after that. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We walked up the street, in the direction away from the tourist areas, and found wonderful local restaurants, shops and things to do.

B28 is an absolute gem. The rooms and building and carefully restored and furnished. The room is elegant and understated, thanks to the owner / architect’s aesthetics. It’s a good touch to have pictures of how the building used to look like prior to renovations. Our bedroom at the back had a window that opens up to the back alley with a lovely view. The main living area was spacious and welcoming with a stunning view of Porto.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Great location, beautiful apartment, very charming and very affordable. Alida is very pleasant and helpful, they looked after our bags as we arrived early. Half way through the stay they came and cleaned. We were in apartment 1A and yes you will see from other reviews it can be noisy, but just pack ear plugs as everything else far out ways this. The shower is great, very comfortable bed and great facilities in the kitchenette. There’s also a hair dryer. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The apartments are ideally situated, close enough to the river to see it and sitting on the balcony experience the sounds of the nightlife and smell the delicious cooking from the riverside restaurants but far enough away to be quiet when the windows are shut. The service was above expectations (we arrived late and someone stayed on to welcome us). It was comfortable and very clean. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Fabulous place to stay. Very clean with daily maid service. Ideal location, you can see the river but far enough away to get the vibe but also enjoy the peace. Sitting the the balcony drinking port, we had a great time. Excellent service, very helpful e.g. staying late as we were delayed travelling from Lisbon on the train. Great location but many stairs...beware! Make sure you are fit! ;-) we would definitely stay there again

We highly recommend this hotel for a stylish, well located, clean, smooth stay.... with attentive, caring staff. We came in on a late flight and were met at midnight and our heavy suitcases were carried up the stairs for us. The apartments are well equipped and quiet. Beautiful views through the picture windows that are beautiful in themselves. Everything has been considered here and there were so many extra surprise touches. We are a family of 5, so had the top floor penthouse for 3 of us and put the 2 teenagers in a standard room one floor down. This worked well as we all gathered in the upstairs apartment for the delicious breakfast provided (local, organic provisions) each day in attractive little jars and wrapping...it was plentiful. Think freshly squeezed orange juice, home made granola, fresh sourdough bread and cheeses and fruit. It was a delight to be a guest! Turi Edmonds
