Ba-Le Well Salon

In March 2025, I had a hair massage, a treatment that included colouring my dark black roots and a blow-dry. My fantastic hairdresser used Wella products (treatment) and later the hair protection spray and oil for the blow-dry. The massage technique was excellent. The overall service was great value for money. My blow-dry lasted for three days. As a qualified hairdresser myself, I tend to be quite particular, but I was thoroughly impressed with the service. Additionally, my partner received a foot massage from another staff member and had his nails clipped, which also turned out great. I am so glad I found a terrific place in Hoi An. My hair never looked so shiny or healthy. This place is a gem in Hoi An. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will definitely be back.

Nguyệt has been doing my hair for many years. She always does a great job. I highly recommend her. She’s been a hairdresser for 35 years + and her mother ran the salon before. She started helping her mum when she was 10 and opened her own salon at the age of 15. The young lady Hiếu who comes in to do my nails does a great job too. I’d never had a manicure before in my life but it’s a treat and fun to catch up with news of her family. You can find Nguyệt in the alleyway that runs from Trần Hưng Đạo street to Phần Chủ Trình between the Bale well and the post office. I also recommend the post office if you need one. Excellent service and reliable.

Excellent salon, such friendly staff! The address on Google is wrong it's in a side street rather than the main road, here is the correct location, hopefully this helps: 15.879397,108.329500. I googled gel nails in Hoi An and found Ba-Le Well Salon. Shop wasn't opened when I got there after 9am but I called and she came within a few minutes and opened up for me. So I would definitely recommend calling ahead to book an appointment. Got my gel nails done in 1 hour and the prep, quality and finish are fantastic. I 100% recommend this salon, just call ahead to book an appointment :)

Excellent by all Means ! My wife got a hair cut with wish she was very happy. In the meantime I (husband) got ask if I want to have a face & hair wash / massage. Out of curiosity I said yes which was the best decision of the day.

the lady here is so nice!!!! simply wanted a trim and long layers + face framing pieces and she understood exactly what i wanted instantly and did such a great job! also i was able to just turn up without appointment which was great for me :)

The address on Google maps is incorrect, it's on a side street (47 not 11) where a bunch of shops are named some form of "ba-le well". Owner was kind enough to step outside and wait for me until we saw each other. Great service, I went in for a gel manicure that came out perfect! Quick and efficient, which I personally prefer for a manicure.

I had a really nice hair wash, blowdry and styling! One of the best in the city 💛 Really reasonable pricing too.

A couple of weeks ago I went for my colour and a cut. While I was very happy with my colour (I chose the less expensive option with Vietnamese or Korean products) I must say I was not very excited about the cut. I have medium length, curly hair and I had asked that she cut them at the shoulder but staggered, because I like volume. She cut them completely even, all around and they have zero volume! I understand that there might be a language barrier but she seemed to have understood what I was asking and I had also showed her a picture of my last visit at my hairdresser back home. Also, her cutting technique was a bit weird. She mainly used a kind of stripping tool instead of regular scissors. I had never experienced this style of cutting. As for the scalp massage while washing my hair, I had to ask the young lady twice to use her fingertips rather that her nails as it was quite uncomfortable on my scalp. Not a relaxing scalp massage unfortunately. Overall I would go back for the colour but not for the cut.
