Ba Na Hills

Sun World Ba Na Hills feels like stepping into a different world. It’s honestly one of the most magical destinations I’ve visited. From the moment you arrive, everything feels surreal – the mountain views, the cooler air, and the whole fairytale atmosphere. The Golden Bridge is even more impressive in real life. Seeing those giant hands holding the bridge with the clouds around you is something special, not just another Instagram spot. The castles, old European-style buildings, and little streets make you feel like you’re walking through a fantasy village. There’s so much to explore – parks, cultural areas, statues, gardens – every corner has something interesting to look at. The details are insane, you can tell a lot of effort went into the design. Location-wise it’s great, especially the cable car ride up – the views over the mountains and forest are unforgettable. The only downside is the crowds. It gets busy, especially mid-day, and some spots can feel packed. But honestly, it’s still worth it. This place is truly one of a kind and worth every penny. If you’re in Vietnam, this is a must-see experience. Highly recommended.

Lovely place! I bought the Get Your Guide tour. It was great. We had the small group package and no lunch included (you will find many restaurants, food and drink stalls at the location at a much better price than the food option package offered by Get your Guide). You have loads of activities up there and loads of fun. Also, at the entrance you are given a voucher per person that you can use to get two free beers at the local brewery or a free portion of fries. Enjoy your trip! ❤️

This was my second visit to Ba Na Hills in Da Nang, more than two years after my first trip. I still remember that the weather during my previous visit was quite poor, but the experience of taking the cable car felt like entering the clouds, which was very unique and memorable. This time, I was lucky to visit on a clear day. From the Golden Bridge (the famous Hand Bridge), the panoramic view of Da Nang was truly breathtaking. The view felt endless, with the entire bay stretching out below, which was definitely the highlight of the visit. The ticket price remains the same as it was two years ago, at VND 1,000,000 per person. However, as a second-time visitor, I personally feel that the price is not very valuable. After taking the cable car up the mountain, the main attractions—such as the French Village and the Golden Bridge—are largely focused on sightseeing and taking photos, without offering many interactive or unique experiences. In addition, most of the other attractions and amusement facilities require extra payment. There also seemed to be fewer performances compared to my last visit, which made the overall experience feel less rewarding. While Ba Na Hills is certainly worth visiting at least once, especially for first-time visitors, I personally do not feel it offers enough new or engaging experiences to justify a repeat visit.

Ba Na Hills felt like something straight out of a movie. I honestly loved it a lot. If you are going there, I would strongly recommend staying at least one night. The night view completely changes the experience and is absolutely worth it. During the day it is beautiful, but at night it feels unreal. Tickets and stay can be a bit on the expensive side, especially if you are booking during peak season. We went in December, and I would highly recommend that time. The fog, mist, and weather add such a cinematic feel that the photos and videos look unreal. Overall, an amazing place and a once in a lifetime kind of experience. Easily one of my favorite trips.

Oh my ! It was a marvellous experience Na Hills was truly a magical experience. From the moment we reached the top, the cool mountain air and misty surroundings felt refreshing and surreal. The cable car ride itself was breathtaking, offering stunning views of lush green hills and waterfalls below. The Golden Bridge was a highlight — unique, majestic, and absolutely worth the visit. Beautiful gardens, charming French-style architecture, and a relaxed atmosphere made the entire day memorable. Ba Na Hills is a perfect blend of nature, engineering, and leisure — a must-visit destination in Vietnam.”

We arrived at the bridge at 10 am, it was foggy, but still absolutely mesmerizing! Besides the bridge, there's a small amusement park, a temple and many beautiful photo spots. There's a great selection of food, and the view from the cable car is also stunning! It's definitely worth a visit. It's best to go there early, it took us about 3-4 hours to explore all the locations.

Maybe its seems like you never been to Danang if you never visited Ba Na hills. Originally built by French after many events and years, SunWorld took it over and built it as a many tourist attraction. We visited this place in end of December, the weather is cooling around 13 to 14 degree Celsius. The place is quite big. If you are like the majority tourist visiting ba na hills for one day, take my advice. Go earlier, there are stages on the hill. The HAND is on the 2nd stage of the hill (not the top). Normally you will go to the 'hand' first. Plus visiting the lovely gardens. Then move to the top via another cable car ride. Top is where the French Village is and the one and only hotel there (Mercure hotel, December 2025). Also where the Alpine coaster + indoor themepark. If your tickets includes lunch, try not to spend too much time in the buffet lunch. You will need more time in walking and strolling around the lovely French Village. The indoor themepark rides are included in the tickets, hence, the queue is quite long. If you are into these rides, u will need more time. If you dont like the crowds, u can try to have a night stay in the hotel, according to my guide, night time is much cooler and much more peaceful since most of the day trip crowds will start to leave around 4pm. Overall, this is ia very nice place to visit. Well maintained and the vibe is good.

A truly fairytale location. We visited the French Village, Linh Ung Pagoda with the Giant Buddha, the Golden Bridge, and took the Ba Na cable car. Even though it was foggy, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The walkways and escalators leading up to the cable car are beautiful, and the entire area is decorated with colourful lanterns. Our favourite spot was the Linh Ung Pagoda and Giant Buddha — there are three temples in that area, all featuring stunning floral arrangements and intricate marble stonework on the statues and buildings. It’s a very peaceful and serene place. The French Village is incredibly picturesque and Instagram-worthy, with stone sculptures of famous literary characters and a lovely cathedral. The floral and memory gardens are also worth a visit. There are plenty of eateries serving good quality Italian dishes like pasta and pizza, plus excellent hot chocolate. The network of cable cars is impressive and runs smoothly, making it easy to get from one attraction to another. Gliding through the fog at those heights feels surreal. The Golden Bridge is beautiful, though quite crowded. Overall, an extremely scenic spot and a must-visit destination in Da Nang.
