Wow 🤩 1. Sesame & seaweed sourdough. Insanely good sesame seeds crust, Baby bum bum soft & fresh bread with nice air pockets inside, Oceany seaweed flavour that also gave pleasant saltiness. 2. Their famous butter tart this butter tart filling? It was runny but not too runny! Don’t even know how to describe it. Never had butter tart this good. It was the best!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for some time now. It’s true that if you didn’t know it was there, you could just walk past it and not know what kind of business it is as there’s no real sign. Went there on a Wednesday in the afternoon and got to try their butter tart and chocolate chip cookie. To my point of view, their cookie makes it to the top of the best cookies in Toronto. So delicious I absolutely have to buy more. It has a lot of chocolate which is heavenly. Their butter tart was really good too. It has a really nice light crust with oozy gooey butteryness. It’s pretty rich and filling. Now I absolutely want to come back and try their other items. I did not find that they had poor customer service. They answered my questions and were quick and efficient.

Ba Noi has great baked goods! The chocolate chip cookies are gooey but crispy, topped with a generous amount of flaky salt. The butter tarts are to die for; most butter tarts you mostly want the filling, here you want it all. It’s hard to decide if the filling or shell is tastier. I would highly recommend both!

Most delicious butter tarts that I’ve ever tasted. Although it may seem pricey, it’s worth it for a taste of these buttery, moist yet crispy, absolutely delectable tarts. There’s so much flavour in each of these little things and I always fall back in love with these tarts when I bite into them. I’ll definitely come back to buy some again.

super cute shop but the butter tarts weren't that great in my opinion. maybe it's the one I got, but it was overly chewy with pieces that get stuck in your teeth, and tasted a bit too much like egg. the salt is a great addition though

Scrumptious butter tarts and lovely chocolate chip cookies adorned with flaky sea salt. No seats. Latte in photo is from Crestfallen. I’m excited to try their other bakery items, however, I suggest going earlier in the day as most of their items (sourdough, buns) sell out by the afternoon. Customer service depends on who is behind the counter - owner is a bit unfriendly

I stopped in to finally try the famed butter tarts and added a few milk buns to my order (whatever was left at around 11am on a Saturday) and let me say, they exceeded expectations. The butter tart was simply sublime, every bit as extraordinary as the rave reviews suggest, if not more. Wherever you are, it’s worth the trip. As for the milk buns, each bun (curry beef, sausage, and coconut) was generously filled and could taste the high-quality ingredients.

Butter tarts were super fresh and warm when we went at 2pm. The cookie was as good as suggested by other comments. Highly recommend! Need to get there early for the savory foods
