Baan Bayan Hua Hin

Wonderful place and good friendly and professional staff. Perfect location and two pools on the beach. Close to Market Village, and Hua Hin centre. Food could be better in restaurant as it is a fantastic location overlooking the beach. Quiet and peaceful until noisy children and bad parents arrive. Staff should perhaps manage this better as people want peace and quiet, not screaming children. But otherwise a fantastic place to stay.

The setting was serene and peaceful. My room was spacious with a view of the beach from the balcony. The food was delicious whether breakfast or room service. The staff was efficient, friendly, and attentive. It was a wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. My room was great - overlooking the garden and the front entranceway however because the hotel is far back from the highway it was lovely and quiet. Everything in my room worked well - AC, Shower and hot water and wifi. The shower area is very old and awkward to use and get in and out of but it worked well. The fact that it is on the beach made things fantastic!! I spent a great deal of my time lounging and overlooking the beach and walking up and down on the silky white sand. It was very windy the first day but the second was great and I was able to go in for a swim as the water is shallow for a long way out and you can really enjoy the warm and clear waters. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. The location is also close to a large mall and many restaurants up and down the highway so there was lots of places to go and things to do. My train didn't leave until late and the staff took my bags for safekeeping and also offered me a room to freshen up if I needed it before I went to the station. Overall it was a fantastic stay and I'd recommend this hotel.

Pros: - Beachfront resort with good vibes - Calm and private - Good sea view from the pool - Good location in Hua Hin city center with many places for dining - Spacious room - Very tasty local Thai food menu - Decent service from staff - Awesome beach in front of the resort Cons: - The houses themselves are of a certain age. - There can be mosquitoes at dusk or night. - The resort entrance is quite small and not easily noticeable.

If you’re sensitive with food and water, just ask them to do it correctly for you, they will do their best. Warm water is good. The divine protection here is very strong attitude. Minus one star since there were hairs but luckily hair from head.

We booked via one of the booking sites that worked well. Arrived and found check in quite overwhelming. The reception staff member spoke quickly with so much information and we could not comprehend everything. Room whilst great location near pool had a few issues. Air conditioning extremely noisy and at a certain time in early morning it revved up to be incredibly loud and woke us both mornings. Pillows were rock hard. I asked for a softer pillow and what I was given was a sad flattened pillow that had seen better days. This place has so much potential , but needs some investment of money for a facelift. Things like the pool towels they were so frayed. Also the ticket you must pass over each day to get towels gives you a sense that the business does not trust the guests. Breakfast was average. There was some lovely staff members we encountered. Clearly this place has an exceptional location and that is what you pay for. I really wanted to enjoy this place but it just misses the mark and not worth the baht they charge.

Small hotel on the beach with a colonial atmosphere. Everything nearby and not far from center Hua Hin. Staff were friendly and helpfully. Nice comfortable rooms but a little outdated. Especially bathroom. English level of staff was not so good. Since the swimming pool was quite small there was no chance to capture a sun-bed at the pool. Chance on the beach was better. During our stay there was an irritating family group there also that was claiming the whole place actually . This group had a wedding party there. Cant blame the hotel but irritating when you just want some rest. The beach in front of the hotel was great !

It is a small 3* hotel that was built about 100 years ago which clearly would have the potential for a 5* hotel, however, nobody seems to be interested in this.||The hotel benefits mainly from its traditional architecture and its location right on the beach. Understanding that they would like to preserve the style of its architecture the interior needs much better maintenance (e.g. furniture in dining area, beach beds etc.). Our beds simply were a desaster: mattresses seem not be changed for decades.|Unfortunately staff at reception was not friendly or showing us a little smile.|In total we have considerable doubts to return.
