We used to be frequent visitors of Baan Gli Wang — it was our go-to stop before heading back to Bangkok. What kept us coming back was the warm, friendly service and consistently good food. Unfortunately, those days seem to be gone.
On our recent visit, the atmosphere felt markedly different. The once-welcoming service has turned cold and indifferent, with unfriendly stares replacing smiles. Even more disappointing was the food. What used to be a reliable, enjoyable meal has become something we can no longer trust.
We ordered the yellow curry with sea bass, only to find it undercooked and emitting an unpleasant smell — something that should never happen, especially with seafood. Service was also painfully slow, adding to the sense that standards have slipped across the board.
It’s a real shame to see a once-favorite spot lose its charm and quality. I hope the team takes this feedback seriously and works to restore the place to what it once was.
