Baan Grood Arcadia Resort & Spa

Stayed 3 nights in standard room on 3rd floor of building at the rear of the resort. Note there is no lift in this 4 storey building. Older style hotel type room with balcony and sea glimpses. Comfortable, quiet, very clean. Bed soft, plenty of hot water shower, good AC. I asked for a hot water kettle. ||There are various options from bungalows, family style villas and the hotel rooms. Welcoming reception staff speak English and if you notify them they can arrange a pickup from the railway station about 1.5 km away. I walked and it took about 20 minutes.||Excellent breakfast with usual Asian foods and an egg station to get omelets. The restaurant is at the front overlooking the sea and the lovely large swimming pool. Unfortunately the sunbeds were hogged by a group of German tourists.||The resort caters mostly to Thais and older Europeans. Ban Krut is quiet and safe. Beach area is cleaned daily and there is a small night market on Sunday. Otherwise there is a daily morning market by the railway station to get fruit and snacks. There are 2 7-11 convenience stores about 10 minutes walk. Hire a bicycle to get around as it's flat and easy cycling.||I really enjoyed my stay at Arcadia resort and found all the staff to be friendly and helpful.||Highly recommended

Comfortable hotel with helpful and nice staff. Rooms here are a little old but comfortable and cozy. i love the little 1 bedroom bungalows with an extra outside shower. Breakfast here is good and tasty. Territory of the hotel is very green and well maintained.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only negative for us as early risers was the lack of coffee facilities in room and having to wait til 7 am for a coffee when the restaurant opened. Next time we will bring our own, as really its such a small thing compared to the overall stay. The food in the restaurant, especially breakfast, was delicious and the view from the restaurant is spectacular. Service was excellent.

Good location on a very quiet beach. Large pool area. Service is good. Breakfast average Thai style.Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with king beds divided by a slamm sitting area. Large terrace and a exclusive sala sitting area.Only surprise is that it wa constructed out of old shipping containers...Otherwise a good stay.

This place is right in the action - perfect location for markets , beach dining , swimming and relaxing. |Right across the road from the beach you can relax and enjoy all the beach and community activities from your poolside lounge or from the restaurant and cafe tables . |Our villa was next to pool with comfortable king size bed , rooms were clean and staff were great. Breakfast buffet was included and had a great variety and quality to offer

Has 2 nights there which was probably 2 too many. Hotel is opposite the beach but this was not usable due to very high tides. Rooms are very clean but also very under equipped, no space for any clothes. There’s barely any hanging space and no drawers or shelving to place other items but does have a safe. Breakfast was by far the best point of the stay, good and plentiful choice for all tastes. No bar to speak of, a small coffee shop that sells beer but everything closes by 9pm which is bizarre for a hotel with a lot of non Thai guests. And there is currently no spa at this spa hotel, very odd.

Right across from the beach, wonderful pool for adults and kids. Breakfast was basic with different foods option, western and Thai. Egg station. Breakfast starts 7 am no exceptions

Excellent sea front hotel with outstanding restaurant serving traditional Thai and European food. Rooms are spotless clean as is the sea front swimming pool we will be staying again.
