Baan Hanibah

I would be remiss if I didn’t add my voice to the chorus of positive reviews for Baan Hanibah…|To me, the people you meet are a huge part of the travel experience. Looknai, Toy, Nai, and Tee are the kindest and most welcoming hosts you could ever meet; especially for a first timer in Thailand!|I agree with all the previous positive particulars regarding the house, garden, breakfast, and other amenities. Baan Hanibah is an oasis that feels like home. I love this place and these people; and hope you get the opportunity to experience it all for yourself!

The most beautiful boutique home. It’s run by a couple who are adorable. I felt cared and looked after. It is located in old town, walking distance from everywhere. It was hot outside during our visit, but due to their beautiful garden and the traditional Thai thatching, this place was cool. It was perfect. I felt teary eyed leaving this couple behind.

After the chaos of Bangkok, this was what we needed - a quiet B&B in a beautiful neighborhood, within walking distance of almost everything.This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it try to be. It is a quaint old home that has been transformed into a beautiful spot to rest and sleep. Our favorite spot was the balcony - we would simply look at the flowers and watch the birds.One thing, being a small B&B, the breakfast is not the huge buffet with a huge selection of food. Instead, it is freshly made coffee, eggs any way, fresh toast and lots and lots of fresh fruit. For me, the ideal breakfast is coffee, bread and mango, so I was in my happy place.It is a wonderful old house that makes its own music - you quickly discover which floorboards squeak and learn to avoid them at night. And waking up to the calling of birds is always a blessing.

Amazing, amazing hotel! The place is absolutely gorgeous, the room spacious, clean and extra comfortable, including the bed. The breakfast is incredible and the host as well! I want to give them a special thank you, because I lost my sunglasses at their property and they had the patience and kindness to send it back to my hotel in Bangkok. The best place I stayed in Thailand!

Again, we were blessed to be able to come back to Baan Hanibah and spend 11 nights in this wonderful spot. The quiet street, the serene gardens, the history, the SPOTLESS interior, and Look Nai who works the reception and makes breakfast. She is amazing, kind and always at the door, wanting to carry a bag, help...she is just one of the reasons that this is our "home' while in CM..We had family come and visit, eating breakfast in the morning is a highlight. Homemade bread, Thai goodies, (treats, breakfast soup and more), amazingly sweet fruit, homemade bread and Look Nais, eggs....they even had my husbands eggs ready in the cutest egg cups for him, when he came down. |Toy is an amazing woman who helps there, i feel so fond of all. |This is a dream of a place to lay your head. Thank you...

Fantastic place. Beautiful old building, clean and big, well done out. Friendly staff who went above and beyond with advice and help. Would definitely return if I am lucky enough to come back to Chiang mai

We stayed in the family room which worked well for our family of 5. In many ways, this is the perfect little guest house to explore Chiang Mai. The location is fantastic and most places are within walking distance. The owners are absolutely lovely and warm. The rooms are simple but clean. Breakfasts were delicious and everything one needs to start the day when exploring the city and region. There is a lovely couple across the street who do laundry. Would recommend and come back again!

Wonderful staff, they always keep smile, and friendly attitude,. Cozy room and good location, very near the famous restaurant"the house" . Here we felt like back home and had leisure period in their balcony.. There are different choice of breakfast and had cooking eggs on site. That is not easy for non-brand hotel, but they really did a good job that we enjoyed the eggs with decoration everyday. We will stay here again if we visited chiang Mai again.
