Charming mountain hotel with breathtaking landscape views. Loved the persimmon garden dotted with roses. Resort set in a quaint, quiet village. The atmosphere is laidback. Breakfast was included and delicious, and the staff (I forgot to get her name but she was the younger one at the front desk who spoke English & knew Chinese too... her family, particularly grandparents came from China) made me feel right at home. She showed me around the garden and chatted about the locality, the fruits & tea plants around.||The hotel has a tea shop/cafe where light breakfast is served. From what I still recall, there was noodle soup, bread & jam, hot drinks (coffee, tea, choco), milk & cereal, youtiao (long golden-brown deep-fried strip of wheat flour dough).||There are small restos and food shops nearby. There is also a single 7-eleven store a hundred meters ahead in case you need to buy essentials. ||It's pretty quiet most of the day with a view of thick lush greens that's so soothing to the eyes. Guest can do day hikes to the temple on top of the mountain or just down the tea fields. ||Baan Hom Muen Li was defo a short break from the bustling city life. ||*Just a heads-up though, arrange your transportation to and from the resort as there is minimal commuting options going (and coming from) there.
