Baan Rim Pa ... (Ban Rim Pha)

We came here back in 2008 when it was near Diamond Cliff Resort. We decided to go back this year and while it has moved I asked if it was the same owners and they said yes. Same beautiful view however food didn't taste as amazing as it did back then and for the price point of $250 australian dollars you would hope it would. We even ordered a bottle of wine which was delicious. The service from the ladies was beautiful and they were so so good with our kids. What ruined the lovely night was upon leaving we stood up to go to the counter and one of the male staff members started yelling loudly "wait there wait there" as if to say stand there and wait to pay. No shit! It just ruined the ambience of a beautiful view previous good service from the staff and left a disgusting taste in our mouth! Shame really!

Great service and lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, we arrived after sunset and missed the beautiful view that the place is known for. The food was decent overall, big portions. Would recommend coming earlier to enjoy the full experience—especially the sunset view.

We had an amazing dinner here! The sunset view was absolutely breathtaking—perfect for a romantic night or a special celebration. The food was delicious, with great flavors and presentation. What really made the experience stand out was the wonderful vibe—relaxed yet elegant—and the waitstaff were so attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Highly recommend for a magical dining experience! We’ll definitely be back.

A Place with great ambient and nice sunset view. A must go place with great food and great service hospitality. Price is on the high side but hey it's restaurant with view and on cliff. Of course the food is definitely not disappointing, great taste and serves really good quality. Ought to come back!

We went for dinner and the experience was great. We really wanted to try some authentic Thai food as it’s our first time visiting the country. Honestly I don’t know how authentic it is but it was definitely delicious. The food is halal! I really recommend trying the purple dumplings with chicken and crab. We also had a dish with chicken and banana blossom which had a unique taste but was really good. It was our first trying the sea grapes which were also really good. Overall such a great experience. As for the atmosphere, I recommend going around 6-6:30pm for the sunset. There is a pianist playing some amazing songs.

Scenic ocean views, superb som tam, tasty yellow curry chunky crabmeat with rice noodles, excellent table service. Sit on the platform overlooking the sea views, rather than the tables by the water, where the breeze can blow your menu away. Spectacular. Prices are substantial for Phuket, but Baan Rim Pa has exceptional quality of cooking and ingredients.

We have been to that restaurant for the past 24 years for around 15 times and this time, we weren’t happy at all. We used to go to the old location and never had been to the new location. In the old location, this used to be one of our favourite restaurants in town. The new location is just around the corner and as well very pretty. Set up is gorgeous. Instead of the ice figures they used to have at their entrance, they have now someone curving fruits out. All of that was beautiful. Service, atmosphere and location were good, we had an issue with the food. It used to be so delicious. Yesterday, it wasn’t real authentic Thai food. I couldn’t distinguish my food from my husbands. The same taste. On the way back to the hotel, we were so thirsty, we had to stop at the supermarket for drinks. Thru the whole night, we had to drink water. Disappointed as we used to have so many pleasant memories here with our kids and family members in the past. Update : I wasn’t thirsty as suggested from the restaurants response, by eating earlier something else. I had fruits and waffles for breakfast and skipped lunch. And I had the same breakfast for the past days. So my husband and myself were thirsty the whole from eating diner at your restaurant.
