Baan Thai House

Very lovely set of apartments, located around a beautiful lush garden with a pond in the middle (you can even row a boat in there!). Apartments are spacious and well maintained, all clean and good. The staff was super helpful, especially with organizing TukTuks (you need them to go into town) and the complementary bicycles. We used the bikes to make a tour to the historical area and enjoyed it! Definitely worth the stay. Breakfast was good but nothing special .

Thai hospitality at it's best! Welcoming, friendly staff with a special mention to Aoi, who made sure everything was taken care of. She arranged tuktuks for us, laundry to be done, recommended places to see, and restaurant recommendations. The on-site massages (for an extra charge of THB400/hour) were authentic Thai and very relaxing in an air-conditioned room overlooking the pool.|The free breakfast included cooked eggs and fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast, cakes and pastries, and a different Thai delicacy each day + espresso coffee (or tea), orange juice, water. There was also a lunch and dinner menu so we didn't have to venture out for other meals if we didn't want to.|We had a garden view villa, which had a comfortable bed, good pressure shower instant electric heated, and air conditioning and 2 bottles of complimentary water each day.|The grounds are well manicured and such a pretty setting with a pond in the middle. The pool had plenty of loungers around to relax on and was a warm temperature and deep at one end.|A perfect place to relax after visiting the Ayutthaya Historical Park.|

Friendly Thai service. We had 2 rooms, side by side, but far away from the pool area. There's a nice pond area and the entire environment was relaxing. Greenery all around. They helped us with the booking of the sunset cruise. Free parking and a short walk into the compound. Small and cosy place and definitely more of a homely feel.

Wonderful place with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were basic but perfectly comfortable; ours had a balcony overlooking the little moat area. Slightly out from the centre of Ayutthaya but tuk-tuks were arranged for us whenever we wanted at 100THB a time to get into the centre of the town where all the sights are. They also arranged a boat tour for us around the island with a visit to three temples; Wat Chaiwatthanaram at dusk/sunset was a particular highlight.

I stayed here with my family, and the well-maintained garden perfectly complemented the traditional Thai-style rooms. The staff were all very friendly, and I was especially touched by how they remembered and took care of the requests we had made the day before. Although the location is a bit far from Ayutthaya Old Town, it was convenient to get around using a tuk-tuk. The hotel is small but has a swimming pool for children, making it a great place to stay with family. I highly recommend it.

A superb place to stay and explore Ayutthaya. English speaking staff are very friendly, efficient, helpful and an excellent source of local sight-seeing knowledge. Villas are well decorated and very clean (and spruced up daily). The Baan Thai villas are arranged around an ornamental pool in a very well tended garden full of Frangipani trees. The on-site restaurant serves a satisfying breakfast and dining through the day offers a selection of excellent and reasonably priced Thai and European food. The hotel has excellent arrangements with local Tuk-Tuk services to offer hotel to town transport at fixed fares and the hotel organised (fixed price) evening boat and temple tour ending at the riverside night market is recommended. On-site wifi adds the final touch for those who just can’t let go. It’s a very pretty, very quiet and very tranquil place to stay.

Nice traditional hotel with warm welcome. There is a great pool and breakfast was delicious. There are complimentary bottles of water and the bed was really comfortable.|The setting is really peaceful and we had a great balcony overlooking the lake
