My partner and I stayed three nights at this charming Thai wooden house hotel and were very happy with our experience. We prefer smaller, unique accommodations over big chain hotels, and this was perfect. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our ground-floor room was spacious, clean, and featured a lovely terrace by the pool—ideal for morning sunbathing. The hotel is conveniently located next to a large local food market and close to the old city, making it a great base for exploring. The only downside was the noise; the wooden walls allowed sounds from neighbors to travel easily. Sensitive sleepers might want to bring earplugs for a more restful night.

I give a 5 star to baan U , my favorite place in Chiang mai . Cosy traditional hotel in teak wood with a wonderful and friendly staff. Perfectly clean , the area is out of the center and not many tourist around , perfect to be quiet. I recommend it so much I will go back next week . Around 1500 bath if you go there , sometime more expensive on line. Rooms available often. Let's go!!!!!!

Booked quickly last minute to be near the airport. It's a little oasis. Ever been to a place and something about it makes you hope that they succeed and do well? 🙏

I like the interior of the hotel. Reminds me of traditional southeast asian designs. The pool was good. The room was a bit hot although the aircon was blasting. I guess it was soo hot when we were there that the aircon cannot make the whole room cold.

Such an amazing hotel!! We booked just to have an easy place to stay near the airport, and were pleasantly surprised with how nice it is. The rooms are beautiful and clean with comfy beds. We loved the teak wood construction. This hotel is a great value, and I could not recommend it more!

If you are staying here one night before going to the airport, it is OK. Otherwise it has a very bad value for money. Huge discrepancy between price and what they offer. The staff is sleepy and speak very little English, which causes lots of problems. The worst amenities I’ve seen (you can us the soap only twice before it melts down), a murky pool, far to the city, very few choices for the very expensive breakfast, which we paid for extra. No idea how it came to be a four star hotel.

Decent budget hotel. A way out of town but super convenient for the airport. A tiny bit old fashioned but very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very charming 'old world' style. Noise insulation isn't great due to the construction style but they acknowledge that and ask guests to be quiet. We only stayed one night but it was fine.

It’s 10 mins from the airport . So location wise it superb . Room is good and spacious . We picked a room on the ground floor with pool access . Service was a little not upto the mark . 1. They don’t have a breakfast buffet , they have a set menu which is fully English breakfast but with no cereals and pancakes or waffle . So all the 3 days we stayed we had just milk and bread toast . 2. The staff don’t understand English even for a basic fully cooked egg they could not comprehend.
