Prohibition for Respiratory Patients The bedding, including sheets, blankets, and pillowcases, seems like it hasn't been changed in ages. There is a moldy smell, and the blankets are stiff with stains. I was too scared to touch the curtains, fearing that mold spores would spread everywhere. Insects Everywhere There are a lot of ants, mosquitoes, and bugs. The wooden structure has many gaps, and the room management is poor. Breakfast The breakfast consists of fried eggs, bananas, toast, chicken porridge, coffee, and orange juice. It’s the same every day. However, they do refill items frequently. Towels Clean towels were provided on the first day, but none were given after that. I had to ask for them. When I received them, they were yellowed and worn out. Noise from Young Westerners I had to endure loud noises until 3 or 4 AM due to young Westerners partying. I couldn't sleep at all as they were loud and rowdy all night long with alcohol and marijuana. Even though it was at the end of the night market, I could still hear karaoke until dawn. Conclusion I feel deceived by the photos... It was just a struggle throughout my stay. 사진에 속았다....

Room is sub standard, worse than hostels. |Unable to lock or secure the door once inside. |No safe available. |Bathroom is basic, at best.|Air con, fridge, fan and surrounding area are all extremely noisy and room has zero soundproofing. |Pillows are like bricks.|Breakfast stated to start at 7, an hour later nothing available!

Lovely family business, stayed 1 week end of July. Clean, comfy and nicely old fashioned wooden bungalows. Perfect to enjoy Pai

Very well located in relation to the walking street, very pleasant staff, decent room and perfect breakfast. On the other hand, I was not able to sleep before 3 a.m. and a friend who had another room too because there is a bar not far away who plays his music very loudly, the walls shake with the low frequencies. So because of this I won't come back and neither will my friends. Too bad for the owner of this beautiful place

We have just checked out after extending our stay, and I had to leave a review as I really loved this place. The location is perfect, close by to the main walking streets but far enough away to not hear people in the evening. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere, very relaxing and surrounded by nature with the river just across from our balcony. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered was delicious. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Pai that wants a relaxing, peaceful stay close by to all Pai has to offer.

Stayed here for a week over Christmas. Great location with lovely grounds, next to the river and close to the main street. It's not luxurious but it has atmosphere. Our room was basic but comfortable with a lovely covered veranda for relaxing. Brits beware, no kettle/tea making facilities in the room! Breakfast is a bit hit and miss, starting with menu choices and ending up as a limited buffet. Also be warned, it's right next to the town's high school, which kicks off at 7.30am weekdays with loudspeakers and what sounds like a marching band. Put it this way, you won't need an alarm clock. All in all, Pai is great and Baantawan is very Pai.

Ramshackle is how I'd describe this place. Mate had a refurbished room which was quite nice but my deluxe room was very tired. Good location is a bonus. 500/600 bht would probably be a fair price per night.

Nice property. Nice garden. Friendly staff. The rooms are very rustic. Hard wood. My rooms is a bit dirty. Splatter on walls. Walking distance to many convenient places. Not a luxury property.
