Meet the Makers Combining Marrakech’s Artisanal Past with Modern Design
"I used to scour the souk at Bab el Khemis—still Morocco's most fruitful flea market—for vintage lamps and bigger pieces to get reupholstered or sprayed with automotive paint."
Bab El Khemis in Marrakech is a hidden gem! I purchased planting pots at incredibly competitive prices and was so impressed that I went back again. The market is full of authentic treasures—from antiques to handcrafted goods—and offers a genuine local experience. Haggling is part of the fun, and the atmosphere is lively and vibrant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for unique finds and great deals in Marrakech!

It is a genuine local market, full of curious things - but mostly second hand. I won’t recommend this place for a solo female traveler, with people would be better! I went myself and I had a looong walk experiencing catcalling and two man following me. Besides that, interesting place to check!
