Bab Samhan, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Diriyah

The hotel is amazing. Staff members are super friendly. Food is good. Gym can be improved in terms of space and machines available; however, the super trainer Mart helped us improve our training and taught us new moves given the limited machines. Mart is a gem and made our experience 10x times.

This hotel is now a top favourite. We stayed here twice already. The design of the hotel speaks for itself, it is beautiful and so well maintained. The highlight for me was the beautiful staff. All friendly and eager to do their best. You have to try the drink called “Kalas Gold”. Wow. Housekeeping was exceptional. For me this was a standout, and as you can see most of the pictures are of the housekeeping as I was so impressed. They really went over and beyond. The detail was on par with other very high end hotels. Even the pillows are aligned perfectly! And the room is very clean. I did a mistake though of urgently needing laundry done before travel and accidentally pressed “do not disturb” near the switches at the bed, which also caused delay in fixing the room as well (oh dear). I was so upset as I really looked forward to the amazing housekeeping and was panicking my laundry won’t be finished on time. But they did a good job once we realised what had happened and delivered the laundry just on time. Thank you to the housekeeping team and apologies for pressing the wrong button. Haha. Look forward to coming once again to such an incredible hotel.

I had an exceptional stay at the Bab Samhan Hotel. Everything was simply perfect — from the warm hospitality to the impeccable service and beautiful setting. A special thank you to Mart, the fitness coach, who made my experience at the gym truly outstanding. His professionalism, guidance, and positive energy were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch experience!

I have stayed at Bab Samhan twice and each time it has been an enchantment, I slept so well, felt so cared for. It's a beautiful place with great facilities. But it would be nothing with the incredible staff. No words will be enough to thank the entire Bab Samhan team for making our stay so perfect. We hosted an executive program onsite and stayed over. To name a few: No3man for his impeccable driving, Abdallah, Samir, Samra, Juri, the Samhan lounge staff Sriyanti, Mamerca and Amjaad, the Medheef restuarant staff: Mindo, Mahmoud, Mohamed, Fatimah, Carmela, Al Anoud, Abygail, Joevelyn; the banquet staff: Sameera, Jenifer, Ronyl and Mark. Eric who delivered my room service orders and all the hospitality staff with no exceptions who always remain calm and smiling when faced with our numerous last minute requests. Also, all the spa staff specially Alan the life guard/swiming instructors, I am sorry I didn't get to say goodbye but your tips have transformed my free style swimming! Your responsiveness, attention to detail is exceptional. To all the restaurants staff who dotted on us at all times. Harwik, Fabrice thank you for dropping by to check on us. Genuinely the best hotel ive stayed at, mario allan, madjda and sarah were genuinely AWESOME in the spa, ty for the stay. Edit 1: special thanks to mohammed for an AMAZING tour of the bujairi terrace and crazy stories (also, 22 years in the gym and unbelievably jacked btw: HUGE inspiration) and another special thanks to Thomas! An absolute legend. The saudi hospitality was well visible and I can clearly say not only will I be coming here again, but this hotel is miles (and i really mean miles) better than any of its competitors including JW Marriott and honestly even the chain of waldorf astrias. I stay at A lot of hotels and im also very close to getting to titanium elite on Marriott and I can well enough say that not only was this the best hotel ive stayed at, it was also the friendliest and most incredible experience. In fact it was so amazing this is literally going to be my first ever hotel review.

We stayed at Bab Samhan for just one day, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The place leaves you in awe with its attention to detail — every hallway and every corner reflects the beauty of authentic Najdi heritage in a calm and elegant way. What makes it even more special is how they honored the original structure of the building. Every room is different, shaped by the layout of the historic structure itself. In our room, a skylight added a magical touch. We enjoyed coffee in the hotel’s courtyard, and the date cake they served us — as part of their hospitality — was delicious. The elegance and generosity of the staff were truly the highlight. They didn’t just stick to what’s expected — they went far beyond. Adel and Moath, in particular, were incredible. Their warmth and hospitality reflect exactly who we are as Saudis — just like every other detail in the place. The only thing that didn’t quite match the rest of the experience was Taleed by Michael Mina. It was underwhelming. The only thing that makes it worth visiting is that it is part of such a magical place. Highly recommended!

Alhamdlillah, it's so wonderful to have a full service resort style hotel in Riyadh that is in keeping with the local flavors. I can't say enough about our experience. From the welcome, to the food, to the immaculate rooms whose furnishings perfectly balanced tradition and comfort the entire hotel is set up to be a wonderfully relaxing and revitalizing destination. Kudos to all the staff for their gracious attention during our stay.

I went to celebrate my Birthday at the end of July & i had an exceptional experience and great stay ,Even though it’s 15 minutes away from my home but it felt amazing!
