Bab Samhan, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Diriyah

Bab Samhan is a very luxurious hotel. The way that they had furnished the hotel was a mix of modern and traditional elegant Saudi culture. Their placing of the rooms were unique and cosy and it surprised us all in a good way. The breakfast was amazing, all of the staff were so nice. Two in particular were outstanding: a chef named Mahmoud Alrousi. He was so kind, and made sure that everything we had ordered was perfect and ready in just minutes. Also there was a waitress named Mindo. She was extremely friendly and served everything in a matter of time. Me and my family really enjoyed it here.

‏I stayed for one night to celebrate my birthday, and it was one of the best stays. The staff were very polite and professional. They presented me with a cake and refreshments as a gift. ‏ Special thanks to Ahmed Al-Omari, who did an excellent job arranging the cake, balloons, and all other requests, and was with me every step of the way. I’d also like to thank Adel Al-Mutairi, who was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The rest of the team were equally great. ‏The place itself is very nice and gives a wonderful Najdi atmosphere. My only small note is about the small windows—it would be better if they were a bit bigger to let in more sunlight. Overall, I would definitely repeat the experience for other occasions 🤍

I think this is my first five stars. This hotel easily ranks among the top five I’ve ever stayed in. The building is beautiful, but what truly makes it exceptional are the people who work there. Every staff member was incredibly courteous, professional, and genuine—showing the true generosity and hospitality of Saudi Arabia. Everyone was local and represented the culture with such pride and warmth. It wasn’t just a luxurious stay; it was a cultural experience that captured the spirit of the country. It’s rare to find a place where both the building and the people are equally outstanding. This hotel is that rare gem. Highly recommended.

The hotel is extremely authentic. Loved the place as it reminded me with our old days and grandparents houses. The service is exceptional from all the Team who are actually my friends from other hotels, Faisal and Reem. The pool is deeply designed in a very nice way. And Fitness person was great. You can walk in the hotel freely for an outdoor walk. The Mudeef restaurant is very good with their special French toast. Mohammed Mosa at the restaurant was so helpful and very kind.

Bab Samhan Hotel is a heritage landmark that reflects the local culture and is truly breathtaking. My family and I had breakfast at the "Mudheef" restaurant, which was exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. What impressed me most was Captain Mahmoud; he embodies the restaurant with his expertise, impeccable manners, and ability to anticipate everything even before we ordered. My regards to Mahmoud, and thank you so much for everything. We will definitely visit again soon.

One of the best places in Riyadh to experience a luxurious stay right next to the cultural heart of Saudi heritage. I have stayed here on business for more than 60 days and I can wholeheartedly say this property does an amazing job across the board in its execution of an exceptional guest experience. I have some honorable mentions: Bilal in housekeeping is incredibly attentive to guest needs and always makes sure my room is just the way I like it and has the amenities I need during my stay. Natalia, Roben, and the dining staff are phenomenal - they learned my order preferences by heart and ensured my breakfasts in the mornings run like clockwork and my dinners in the courtyard a cherished ritual. Alan in the spa is a fantastic private fitness coach and helped keep me accountable to my fitness goals during my stay. Beyond its great dining offerings and excellent amenities, this property is in the perfect spot in the heart of historical Diriyah. The location is within walking distance of the Bujairi Terrace (good restaurants / views of Wadi Hanifa) and in a quieter area of Riyadh that provides a nice retreat from the busy downtown, while being only 15 mins uber from KAFD. I will always stay here when I come to Riyadh.

Staying in Riyahad. Went to the Spa at Bab Samhan. Had a delicious pearl & rose amar hammam with Mimie. I will definitely go back just to get another hammam with Mimie. She was very good and described every part of the process as she worked on me. My skin is so soft afterwards!
