Baba Q's Smoke & Grill

Six of us went for dinner. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The ambience of the restaurant is charming. The appetisers Bam Bam Shrimps and the Calamari were excellent. The Tai curry chicken kebab and beef brisket dinner were excellent. The chicken skewer platter was average as the marination of chicken was very mild, and the fries were over fried. The service was outstanding, and the waitresses were very attentive and helpful. Overall experience was memorable.

Bravo. Baba Q’s delivers. I stopped here during an extended road trip and it was fabulous. Service is excellent, the vibe is great, and I enjoyed my chicken burger with salad.

Typically, I'm not a BBQ lover, but this place is great. The everything was delicious, especially the brisket. I highly recommend this place not only for the food, but also for the exceptional atmosphere and service.

Was surprised to see that they serve breakfast as was kind of hungry and it's limited what you can get in Labour city, Service is really vibrant staff are helpful and very polite and they show specials on a tablet as well which avoids miss communication. I see that this restaurant is really going well in getting as much trade as possible open early for breakfast and open all day. The tables I did find a little sticky but otherwise an enjoyable experience and they do have good speakers I was surprised of the music but the quality of sound made it much better. Will look forward to returning. I was surprised with tea choices but I understand as this is a remote location. Nearest big city is 7 hours away across a rough road.

I went with a colleague two nights in a row. The service was excellent, lots of waitstaff working. They show you pictures of all the specials - loved it! It was difficult to decide on both nights. We went in October, and they went all out on the Halloween decor! They also have special Halloween cocktails available. The Vietnamese ribs and chicken wing combo was delicious, the ribs were so tender and wonderful flavor. The chicken slouvaki was delicious, well flavored and marinated, perfectly cooked and tender, not dry at all. Couldn't resist getting a side of brisket as it was highly recommended - absolutely amazing, very tender and perfect flavoring. Finally, just to note that the wings on wing night were huge!

Just had medium rare 16 oz steak and it was cooked to perfection. Heads up to the chef for amazing food my family and I enjoyed well and also kudos to excellent service by Nelsie. Babaqs is indeed best in town. Highly recommended and will be back for sure!

Was so excited to come here based on all recommendations, however I was extremely disappointed with the beef brisket meal. It came out cold and not much flavors. I placed the order and not even three minutes later the dish was out, and as expected, the meat was cold. I ate it because I was hungry and after 10PM I wanted to go and sleep. It is a choice but not sure I will repeat this.

For the second time in a short time, I found myself at BBQ in Canadia. For the second time in a short time, I enjoyed it! Baba Q's is a little home-cooking restaurant in a very remote city, which is impressive. The cheese curds I wasn't expecting to be as delicious as they are, but they have herbs baked into the crust. Got a very nice amount in the basket with their Kansas BBQ - supposedly their hottest but I loved the flavour. My entree was 1/2 chicken with the special red lentil soup. Like other places I've been on this trip, this one's owned by another country - I was told Armenia - so you get a range of cuisines available, and the lentil soup was wonderful. I figured that's a small taste of home for the owner. (: Note: Make sure to ask what is a sauce vs. a dip. I asked for the chipotle with my chicken and it turned out to be a dip. I don't dip BBQ, I soak it in sauce. I could have asked for sauce instead but eh, it's just sauce. So choose wisely! (Chicken was a little overcooked, but that's better than undercooked I suppose. Nothing egregious.) Brownie sundae, real whipped cream from what I could tell and the brownie was homemade and warmed. More nice touches. All in all, I'm not sure how you would find a better restaurant in Labrador City.

It's good ! Food was tasty. Beer was cold. Services was great. Eat the burgers. They were tasty.

Nice place to grab a bite in Wabash. Burger was fantastic. Good beer list. My buddies who got bbq said it was quite good.
