⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious! Baba’s Restaurant is one of the best places in Ho Chin Minh City for authentic Indian food. The flavors are rich, the spices perfectly balanced, and every dish tastes freshly made. The Kerala fish fry and prawn Briyani are a must-try — so creamy and flavorful! The staff is friendly, attentive, and always happy to recommend something new. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for both family dinners and casual outings. Highly recommend Baba’s if you’re craving real Indian comfort food!

Food is so good, we got extra paratha and kheer which we really enjoy. The chicken korma is creamy, chicken masala is very good too, just a bit spicy. The service is exceptional and very attentive. Highly recommended!

The food here is delicious, hot and to my taste even though I am Vietnamese. The staff are all very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. I had a little difficulty ordering because I am not familiar with Indian food, but the staff helped me enthusiastically and cheerfully. They even gave me a free dessert.

Baba’s Kitchen has been in Saigon for 14 years. My friend - who has tried many, many Indian restaurants - absolutely raves about this one. It was my first time eating at an Indian restaurant. From when you drive up (or walk up) to the restaurant - but you’re still outside - one of the very friendly staff has come out to greet you and help you park your motorbike. They have a free appetizer of papadum with four condiments: pickled onions, tamarind sauce, mint sauce, and something very spicy, but delicious. They have an great variety of Indian dishes, naan, roti, and drinks. Spice levels are mild, medium, and spicy. I ordered falaak paneer and it was very mild; quite suitable for someone who prefers almost no spice heat. My friend had the mixed vegetable curry, which was definitely spicy, but not overly much - and it was delicious. We ordered both roti and the garlic naan - really lovely garlic flavor, soft and warm. They gave us a refill on the free appetizer condiments and also complementary warm rice pudding, which was so delicious. The staff are very attentive, constantly refilling our water glasses, and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and there is more seating upstairs. It’s quite clean.

“Great Curries and Even Better Naan” Had lunch here while exploring District 1. The naan is outstanding—pillowy and warm, ideal with their creamy paneer tikka masala. The rice was good too, not greasy, and complemented the curry well. My only wish is that the spice level could be a bit higher by default, but that’s just personal taste. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth visiting!

Happy to have found Indian restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City! The food was delicious and just like how we have expected. Their service is good as well. Easy to find the shop and it’s not so crowded so it’s easy to get a table as well. Highly recommended!

18% EXTRA TAXES, all HIDDEN until it comes time to pay the bill! What RIPOFF merchants are operating here? Surely if you are going to extort PLUS PLUS taxes from your customers, you must legally have to write it on your menu and promotional materials. Not this place. Totally hidden. When I explained that this was cheating by not clarifying additional charges on the menu, the waiter just laughed, and then the fake friendly attitude dropped and noone even said goodbye as I left. I also pointed out that the 'biriyani special' on Sunday is actually MORE expensive than the regular price which makes their use of 'special' extremely misleading, obviously a policy of the people running this place. It is also one of those restaurants where the wait staff hang around your table the entire time, watching you eat and removing things from the table every time you put something down. It was an unnerving experience, but my main point of contention is the egregious hidden charges which are extremely uncommon in Vietnam, outside of upscale 5 star places which this most certainly isn't. I have been travelling in Vietnam for 3 months and this is the only place to do this, so it is quite outrageous, and I want to warn anyone reading this against making the mistake of trusting them that I made myself. Not recommended.

I was very excited about eating Indian food until the first time I tried the food here. It was delicious, at first I thought it would be very little but “NO” it was a lot and we couldn’t finish it even though we wanted to eat a lot. The staff are all Indian and also Vietnamese, they are very friendly and attentive to customers (Although the way they speak the language is quite difficult to understand but it’s okay). I will definitely come back 🔥🔥🔥🔥
