Baba's Kitchen Indian Restaurant - Bui Vien

It is the best food that we have had in vietnam. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We stayed in Ho chi minh for 3 days, out of which 2 days we ordered from here and 3rd day we visited the restaurant. Dish recommendations- Sunday’s special mutton biryani with salan and raita. Dal tadka, jeera rice. chicken 65 is authentic. Paneer chilly is tasty as well. Don’t forget to try their pickle! They give it with all their dishes. They also gave us free payasam and vanilla ice cream for the baby.

Really enjoyed our experience here. I ordered the masala dosa and it was crispy, light and delicious with a nice selection of condiments. They had a great selection of gluten-free foods and were knowledgeable on food intolerance. The chicken curry my partner got was also full of flavour and tender. We would definitely eat here again 😋

Baba's Kitchen is one of the great Indian spots on Bui Vien. During lunch and dinner rushes you will likely feel a little crowded but what you eat will more than make up for the wait and or the hustle a d bustle brushing past your table. I ate palak paneer and kheema Nan with rice. I asked for it to be spicy but it was a bit tame on that front however one of the wait staff came and asked me about the food. I told him and he said he would be happy to take it to the kitchen to fix it but I smiled with a mouthful of fresh, warm yumminess and told him.. next time.

The flavors are rich, the spices perfectly balanced, and every dish tastes freshly made. The Kerala fish fry and prawn Briyani are a must-try — so creamy and flavorful! The staff is friendly, attentive, and always happy to recommend something new. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for both family dinners and casual outings. Highly recommend Baba’s if you’re craving real Indian comfort food!

Food is so good, we got extra paratha and kheer which we really enjoy. The chicken korma is creamy, chicken masala is very good too, just a bit spicy. The service is exceptional and very attentive. Highly recommended!

Second time here. Food was good and plentiful. Even though I had three servings, I had plenty to take home. The staff apologized because their computer was down and I was given a hand written bill. No problem. I'll return soon.

came here for the gobi manchurian and roti, so delicious! very kind service here, with complimentary poppadoms and dips before your meal and complimentary keer afterwards. great price for tasty food, a lot of really good dishes on the menu to choose from. would definitely recommend, thank you so much 😊

The food here is delicious, hot and to my taste even though I am Vietnamese. The staff are all very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. I had a little difficulty ordering because I am not familiar with Indian food, but the staff helped me enthusiastically and cheerfully. They even gave me a free dessert.
