Tried out a coffee kiosk in the Ideal food basket supermarket and it was interesting to see but the coffee tasted ok, I didn’t love my cappuccino the milk was overwhelming and the coffee flavor wasnt too yummy for my opinion. The croissant sandwich was homemade crispy warmed up and a quick snack on the go convenient.

Good dishes taste even better when served with real warmth. Their food quality surpasses pricier competitors. The entree costs seem appropriate until you add drinks and appetizers. Every staff member here shows authentic kindness. This place welcomes groups while providing good food options.

Babe & Al was an average coffee experience. Located in Ideal supermarket. Service was good and fairly quick. Cappuccino was tasty but the specials were a letdown and were not so good as I had hoped.

Babe & Al is a mother-daughter owned coffee shop in PLG. I’ve visited here once because I don’t live in the area but am positive that if I did I’d be a daily customer. I picked up a bunch of goodies - almond croissant, turkey sandwich, and some Doughnut Plant doughnuts. Everything is absolutely delicious but my FAVORITE is the Iced Miel Latte. I love coffee and this is one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had!!!! My husband’s regular iced coffee was delicious too. The staff is also super cool and sweet. I highly recommend Babe & Al and wish they’d open more locations!!!!

Stopped by while passing Ideal Market this past weekend, and SO happy I did. Cold brew was REALLY good, staff was extremely kind, and the prices were sooo reasonable. They had all the alternative milk options, plenty of non-coffee drinks (tea's, lemonade, hot cocoa) and a bunch of pastries, and to go quick bites. This will be my daily coffee spot, nothing nearby compares!

Walked in on my way to buy groceries and absolutely adore this place. I got a cold brew and a cookie (both were fantastic) and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would reccomend.

Love this place! The shop is really cute and all the pastries looked delish. I wish I could have tried them all, but the butter croissant was excellent. The earl grey tea latte was just what I needed in the morning. Can’t wait to go back!

What a fantastic find! Located inside a local grocery store, this cute cafe counter comes through with the delicious baked goods and coffee. I had the tres leches donut and the coffee crumble donut. I also tried the almond croissant and a wildflower miel latte. Honestly, I'm just sad we came at the end of the day and not the beginning when It was full. Everything was delicious. The service was fantastic. And I think this will be a go to for me in my BK travels from now on. Also, we love a family owned coffee shop!!!

I love this little coffee spot located inside the ideal grocery store. The thing that makes this location hands down are the employees. Not only are they friendly, but they are consistent!! Even new staff members make the coffee to the same standard as the seasoned members of the team. I am always impressed by the quality of espresso. They make a fantastic hot and cold cappuccino. I also appreciate that they are able to add simple syrup. I like my coffee black but my partner always takes advantage of the simple syrup. They always have fresh baked goods. On Friday-Sunday they bring in Donut Plant donuts. The non Donut Plant baked goods are hit or miss but for the most part quality. I'm constantly impressed by their selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Every sandwich is served with a spicy aïoli which is incredible. I constantly hear people asking for extra. Pro tip: they'll heat your sandwich up if you want! More recently they created an outdoor order window which is great for folks with dogs! Get a punch card when checking out. Buy 9 drinks and get the 10th free! My partner and I always disagree on our neighborhood coffee shop favorite. This may not be my favorite coffee shop BUT 5 stars because it's his!

This cute locally owned little coffee stand feels a little out of place located by the entrance of our run of the mill neighborhood ideal supermarket, but I very much welcome an additional place to get a latte and breakfast pastry. Their pastry case empties out fast daily, but if you get there early enough, you can pick from a selection of baked goods like cheese danishes, almond croissants, scones, and muffins. They have all the classic espresso based drinks and drip coffee. I got my caffeine fix with a dirty chai, which was made quite well. They have grab and go croissant sandwiches you can pick up for a heftier meal and pair it with any one of their fresh juices or sparkling waters they carry in their fridge. The folks behind the counter are extra friendly and have a fun playlist of punk rock from the early aughts, which speaks to my millennial heart. Hope the steady flow of foot traffic from the supermarket helps keep them afloat.

Super small Little coffee counter inside the grocery store. Visited few times and I am excited to come back! They know how to make decent latte and nice espresso drinks. Worth it if you want your morning coffee! Good coffee that doesn't cost an arm and leg.

Cute coffee shop right inside my favorite supermarket (Ideal) in the area. You can pre-order your coffee or meal while you shop. There hasn't been a line the times I have been there. Family owned. Very pleasant staff. Seems to be a mother and daughter team. I usually go for their lavender tea or dirty chai latte. Really tasty. On the menu, they include breakfast items and pastries. I have been ordering their egg cheese and bacon croissant. They give it to you nicely heated up. Comes with some delicious aioli on the side. Last weekend, I was excited to see that they now also carry donuts from doughnut plant. I ordered the Tres Leches and it came out flaky and delicious. Overall, i am very happy to have another breakfast walking distance.

How can anyone not love this place? The owner and the baristas are very sweet and I love that they stock so many different flavors of syrup. One time I had a triple sec and ginger cold brew that brightened my whole day, it was incredible. Although they're usually not open beyond 4-ish pm, they are a really convenient coffee spot to pop into during a morning walk. They even have a take-out window next to the bus stop that you can use if you aren't able to go inside. This place is very cute, has great coffee (and brownies), and I'm proud to be a loyal customer.

This is a really convenient coffee shop in the Flatbush area. It's inside the Ideal Supermarket, you'll see it on your left side as you walk in. Although, I've been twice and only purchased once, I can tell you the baristas are really sweet and friendly. There's not many baked good options if you're vegan, but they do use Chobani oat milk! I didn't try any of the drinks but I did have the Cranberry Muffin, which was perfectly tart yet sweet and soft. I will come back for sure as I'm in the area often and would like to try more of the menu.

I love that Babe & Al is conveniently located in my local grocery store. I couldn't help but resist those mouth watering Donut Plant donuts, so I grabbed one on my way out! They staff are very welcoming and they offer a lot of pasty and drink options. Definitely will be back again!

Be aware that the only seating here is outside. Tables are not put out when it is raining or in the winter. So if you're looking for a place to hang out with your coffee and food, this is not the place. However, the espresso drinks and baked goods are fabulous, as are the people who work here.

This place is amazing, stop bye every chance I can, the owner is always extremely nice, as well as the other staff. Pastries are delicious as well as their sandwiches. Their casual coffee shop vibe is amazing! The who thing is just amazing! Everything is consistently delicious and you can't really go wrong with popping when you can.

Located inside a supermarket, though there's a window you can order from outside. I've only stopped by for the doughnut plant doughnuts, which are always good.

Our favorite to-go coffee spot in the neighborhood! The baristas are so kind and you'll never get a drink you don't like, in my experience. I hope Babe & Al gets a bigger space in the neighborhood soon, we would love that!

Had the crumb cake and the blue Jasmine lemonade. Finding a good crumb to cake ratio is a big deal. They nailed it! Great service with a smile

Great place! I had the Turmeric Ginger Latte with add on espresso shots and it was just delicious. Also had a walnut danish's and the chia seed pudding. It's definitely a business to support!

I was so happy when this little cafe inside the Ideal Foodbasket supermarket finally opened up. They do really lovely espresso-based coffees (with non-dairy milks available), delicious tea lattes, homemade lemonade drinks, and that sort of thing. They also have a small cabinet of locally made pastries and sweets, as well as yogurt/granola cups, wraps, artisanal sodas, etc. A friendly mother-daughter team runs the place. This is definitely the best coffee you'll find on Bedford Avenue in this area.

Love having a cute, affordable, delicious place so close by! Had a Jasmine Lemonade and a salami sandwich and both were excellent. Coffee was also very good. I've been a few times and I will definitely return!

Great new coffee spot! Friendly staff, yummy fresh pastries and drinks. The owners, mom-daughter duo, are the sweetest. The drink specials are YUM! I hade the Jasmine Tea Lemonade and chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious. Highly recommend stopping by!

I'm so glad Babe & Al is finally open! Their lattes and pastries are delicious (ahem Doughnut Plant donuts on weekends!), and they also have convenient grab-and-go sandwiches. Thank you to the friendly staff for keeping me caffeinated!

Yum & quality! I enjoy their fun latte flavors (lavender is my personal favorite) and their cafe food is really tempting & tasty! The team is personable, quick, & they make really good lattes!

This is the cutest little coffee shop in the most unexpected place. Their coffee is actually really good and the jasmine lemonade is quite delish. What's great is that they keep sprucing up their menu with all these new options, and so far they have not disappointed. It's truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

The place I would go every morning if I could. The people who work there are so nice and really amazing at their job! Their chia pudding is the bomb and their drinks are delicious. They have such a perfect balance when it comes to their drinks and best of all is that they are consistent in their amazing service. They also have awesome pastries that change and get new flavors. My favorite little coffee spot!

Went to Babe & Al with a friend and was so pleasantly surprised. As a non coffee drinker, they had plenty of options for me. Went with the Jasmine Lemonde, it was delicious. Also highly recco the cherry and cheese danish! Convenient and cute spot with great prices. Owners also so warm and welcoming and love to hear from their customers!
