Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse

We are very fortunate to live in Siem Reap with plenty of delightful choices to indulge ourselves. Today, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Babel, and I am so excited to try more from their menu. The pulled pork tacos were incredible! 😋 It was such a peaceful afternoon relaxing in their gorgeous garden. The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly, and the owners are wonderful. What a lovely family! Thank you very much for a great meal! See you again soon ❤️

Very lovely garden cafe with a healthy menu. Lots of variety in good options including Khmer favourites and veg options too. Service is friendly and prompt. Coffee tastes good. I had the feta dip with fluffy pitta, just right and tastes great. A nice place for lunch 😋

We loved our stay at Babel Guesthouse. Especially the pool area is well done, and a good place to relax after a day outside exploring the wonderful Siem Reap. The food is also delicious and we ended up eating a lot at the restaurant in sted of going out.

Babel guesthouse ist not only a great place to stay while in Siem Reap, but also a fantastic place to book your activities sustainably and ethically. They also offer a unique opportunity to come visit the tuktuk-drivers at home in their village and there a meal with them. We visited Dara and his family, and got to learn alot about his village and about Cambodian culture!

This guesthouse is a little paradise!!! The beautiful garden and the pool are the perfect place to relax and recharge after a busy day. The staff is extremely nice and attentive and always made sure we felt at home. Their tuktuk drivers are really helpful, kind and trustworthy. Our stay could not have been any better.

We experienced a very informative "Tuk Tuk Village Tour" with one of their extremely positive and informative guides, Data. The local market part of the tour happened to be at one of our closest markets to our apartment in Siem Reap. Data's family also operates a stall here on occasion. Data showed us all the farming culture surrounding his farm in the village. As well as, a local temple/cremation site used by locals. The time on his Data's farm was magical. His beautiful wife Mila (a local Khmer chef herself) prepared our lunch while her beautiful children kept us entertained during the personal tour of the farm. Over 6 hours very well spent. Thank you, Data!

Babble guest house was brilliant. As our first place to stay in Cambodia with the family. Really relaxing and staff very friendly and helpfull and also their tuc tuc drivers we also brilliant and would take you to where ever you required. I would stay there again as a very enjoyable environment to stay at.

Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse was a welcome oasis, almost like coming home each night. Walking into the garden/lounge from the heat of the street was always a relief after long days of sight-seeing. The rooms could be a little sparse but comfortable enough. Would have appreciated a fridge although for the price we managed to survive without one. The food from the restaurant was excellent. One of the main attractions when researching accommodation in Siem Reap, and the reason we chose the Babel Guesthouse, was their commitment to sustainable tourism. On one night we ate dinner at another property where the rooms cost twice as much and our meals were either not available or came out overcooked. We were happy to get back to Babel. Would happily recommend Babel Siem Reap Guesthouse and would definitely hope to return one day.
