Baby Elephant Boutique Hotel

Recently stayed at this lovely hotel and had an amazing time. The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. Fresh and affordable food, breakfast included, and a great pool area, and yoga studio. You can set up guides and transportation with the hotel if you'd like. My wife took advantage of the in house spa which she loved, and it was amazing to end our days seeing the resident pet dog and cat, Happy and Xanadu. Next time we're back in Siem reap we will definitely be staying here again!

Small, charming hotel in a quiet location, lovely, clean room with AC and a view of the greenery. Well-maintained, green courtyard with comfortable seating areas and a pool. Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Fast laundry service. Healthy breakfast (muesli with excellent yogurt and fresh fruit!), Khmer and Western dishes in the hotel's restaurant. Free water refill station. Attentive, English-speaking staff, always patient and friendly. For helpful tips on local attractions (sunset at Phnom Bakheng and Phnom Kraom!), restaurants, and food, ask Sothea :-).

We only took a cooking class and didn't stay there, but we so wish we did! Our teacher was super friendly, took us on a market tour for all the ingredients, adapted the dishes to our vegan diet and explained everything step by step. The best thing: we were able to cook and eat our meals in the absolutely beautiful garden of the hotel and use their swimming pool for free! The atmosphere was the most relaxed we've had in a hotel for a long time and we didn't want to leave the covered chill area in the garden. Can only recommend this place!

If you want to be cared for by amazing people, have a low key, relaxing stay, the Baby Elephant is a must. Great location to be walkable to many places and of course tuk tuk to any. The staff are so kind and so helpful. The pool is wonderful after a long day at the temples. The breakfast is included. I tried just about every option but the chicken congee and muesli were my favorite. My daughter and I took advantage of the yoga offerings. Others in our women’s retreat took advantage of the massage. We loved our stay here.

The Baby Elephant Boutique Hotel is just the kind of place I’m thrilled to find. It’s tucked away fifty yards down a lane off a city street. It’s within easy walking distance of the old part of town. Maybe a ten minute walk to the Old Market or Pub Street. The staff are an absolute delight. Good English and competent to make your stay proceed without a hiccup. While it’s very convenient to have a restaurant on site (I used it for a couple meals aside from breakfast) you can do better with a 10 minute walk. The pool is nice. I didn’t think of it at the time but now sitting in a hotel room in Hanoi I realize how functional my room at the Baby Elephant was. It had just what I needed in a very functional layout.

Where to begin? Our stay at Baby Elephant Boutique was so special and a highlight of our month-long honeymoon. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with welcome drinks and cold towels, we felt so cared for. The staff were so kind and were there for our every need, from arranging Angkor Wat tours to making afternoon iced coffees. The hotel is slightly away from the main town area of Siem Reap and down a dirt road, but it is a quiet little escape and we never minded the walk (and tuk-tuks are easily accessible if preferred). We had one lunch at the on-site restaurant, which was lovely, and I also had an excellent Khmer massage at the on-site Sugar Spa. We loved spending time with the resident dog and cat as well! This was the only hotel on our trip that I felt truly sad to leave.

It was a wonderful place to stay. We were greeted with warm hospitality, and delicious refreshing Pink Cadillac lemonade drinks. All throughout our stay, the staff were kind, courteous and lovely. The food is great too. What I also loved was the commitment to staff by management to provide good wages, and sustainable income.

I had a great stay at the Baby Elephant!  It is just a short walk from Pub street and the night market with tons of great food options.  The room was very clean and spacious.  There is a nice pool and cafe area to relax and the breakfast was delicious with lots of options.  The staff was very friendly and helpful!!  Would stay again
