Baby Lemonade Hotel & Hostel

Started off poor. Airport taxi that I organized through hostel showed up an hour late. (After calling) Then they were doing construction from 8am-10:00pm. Not possible to sleep off the jet lag as the bed was shaking. However the staff are fantastic/friendly and put me in a different area, no charge. This hostel is in a fantastic location. It's the second and third floor close to the Russia Museum. The showers were super warm and strong. Hostel rooms are below average with ancient beds and pillows. Private rooms are much nicer and I would recommend them. Overall recommend if you get a private room. If they update the hostel rooms I would also recommend those. Staff is fantastic and should be commended.

The manager who greeted me was very friendly and helpful. Great shared area and kitchen with free tea and coffee. Beds are on par for a hostel and the bed comes with a lock box as an added bonus to lock up your valuables while out and about in the city. At peak times it can be hard to find an unoccupied toilet and shower but other than that I have nothing had to say about this hostel. I'd definitely stay here in the future. Love the psychedelic theme to all the rooms!

The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and had good lockers. Facility wise it's excellent as there's many individual shower rooms & toilets as well as a big kitchen. The staff on reception we spoke to were kind and happy to help. Although really modern and clean, it did lack atmosphere and felt a bit too big and commercial rather than homely which is a shame. It is a 10 minute walk away from the metro which meant it was sometimes slow to get to other parts of Saint Petersburg.

Spend new year in the hostel and have a great time, the boys are very friendly and attentive to all guests, they always ask you if you need help or just know about the city. The time I was sharing here was incredible. They also let me stay for a few more hours, since my trip to Finland came out at night. I thank all the team that works at the hostel. Thanks a lot. One of the best new years in my life.

It's a decent place. I felt pretty congested out here. Beds were not great. They felt dusty and I am allergic to dust. I could feel it. It's not spacious plus the vibe was not there. People were reserved. Receptionists were good and helpful though. Situated in the middle of the city that's great though.

Friendly, helpful staff, especially the young lady I met on the day I checked-in. I arrived early and my bed wasn't ready, but she offered me a towel and let me shower and freshen up (which I really appreciated after a 12 hour bus overnight bus ride!). She also gave me a map and provided suggestions on where to go and what to see. She registered my visa and the paperwork was ready for me within a few hours. I stayed for six days and on two days I was asked if I wanted fresh sheets and/or a towel - so nice! Free washing machine, too, was a great bonus. I met many friendly guests at Baby Lemonade Hostel.

Great hostel in Saint Petersburg. Staff are super welcoming and recommend great places to visit, eat and drink. Private rooms are large and spacious and very clean. The hostel is also in a great location. I’ll stay here on my next visit!

We stayed in the Astronomy Room in June 2016. The roof leaked and there was a very strong, unpleasant odor in the room. We agreed to stay in the room because we were told the problems would be fixed the next day. That did not happen. Neither the leak, nor the odor problem were resolved during our 10-day stay, although staff did try to resolve these issues. That being said, we were compensated appropriately for these problems. The rest of the hostel was clean. There were free washing machines for laundry, but no dryers. There was a drying rack, however. The staff were spoke excellent English and provided restaurant suggestions, and helped us buy tickets for a couple of events. The hostel is located close to tourist sites, making it a very convenient place to stay.
