I can’t say enough good things about Babylonian soap company. I’ve been using these products for over 10 years. I had skin issues (had) and needed help. Tracy was the answer- so helpful and kind. I use the goat milk skin cream ( an absolute miracle) the sugar scrubs, massage oils, body creams , and soaps. Never have I been disappointed in the quality, scents, or feel if these beautiful products. I plan to be a loyal customer for many years to come. Thank you Babylonian soap company. You’re the best!!

Went in to browse & the owner is so sweet. I purchased the massage oil in the Morro Bay Ocean scent. It was very fairly priced and works like a dream. The quality is excellent and the scent is phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone

Everytime we came in Morro I would stop by, but now she's on line , kinda sad I loved going in and smelling all the soaps and she was always great if I had any questions. I will still order all my soap from her she's the best. My skin is great. I will miss visiting her shop.

The soap bars are mine and my husbands favorite. They smell very good and are a decent size for price. We have tried different homemade soap companies throughout CA. and these are the best by far. They feel very good on the skin during and after a shower. We always make a point to stop by the shop when visiting Morro Bay. Online deals are even better this time around.🥰🤩

I've bought soaps in the past, and they are super gentle on skin specifically the oatmeal, lavender, and eucalyptus!! Definitely recommend!! The man soap /grit 40 are greats gifts for men. And standing them up makes them last longer!!!

I have been obsessed with Tracy's products for almost a decade now! Even after moving across the country, I still order my soap from Babylonian. About a year ago, I was back in Morro Bay and the woman working recommended me the Goat milk moisturizer, and I haven't gone back to using anything else. I'm a bit of a skincare addict so I have tried several moisturizers and I cannot imagine using anything else! It works for me in the humid summers and dry, cold winters. I have really dry skin and nothing ever seemed to hydrate me enough. It blends well with my makeup, but I feel like it gives my skin a hydrated glow on its own.

Wishing you health, happiness, and prosperity in this New Year. Absolutely amazing soap and products. However, the customer service, in my experience, has been lacking. I've been using their products for years and loved going to the store when they were in the Flying Dutchman center so I could smell all the new fragrances and sample the new lotions. When I recently ran out of my favorite soap, I drove over from Paso Robles to the store on my lunch break to stock up. I went during open hours and I called ahead of time, but no one answered the phone. When I got to the front door it was locked and there was a sign that said to call their number and they'll come and open up the store. So I called the number left a voicemail and I waited for 10 minutes. No one came so I called again. No answer left another voicemail and waited a few more minutes. And then I headed back over to Paso Robles and never received a phone call or a message, and of course didn't get my soap. It's such a shame because they have such a good product. Now I'm using Julietta's Naturals. Her products are excellent and her service is amazing.

Love this place! Ordered an updated tobacco flour spray! My favorite scent. And the soap smells incredible. The owner is very nice and personable met her years ago! Highly recommend if you are looking for high-quality, handcrafted, soap, sprays, hygiene products etc... will be purchasing products again soon!

I have to say that I am a citrus scent kinda girl...but I wanted to try something different. I usually go with the lemongrass body scrub, but his time I chose a rosemary mint body sugar scrub and OMG.....the scent is amazing and my skin felt so fresh and clean, even hours after I used this delicious scrub. Tracy, the creator and owner has this craft of getting to know you on a personal basis and is so pleasant and sweet. She knew my usual order and when she received my current order, she even emailed me back verifying the order because she knows me so well. Her personalized intake is unbeatable. I was totally impressed and taken back. So my current dilemma on my next order will be lemongrass or Rosemary/mint. I'm in love with my new scrub. Not to mention the full size samples. Tracy, you are amazing and you will always be my go to!! Love ya girlie!!

Awesome soap. Expensive but it's legit. I love the varieties they have in terms of soap and other things.

OMG all the fantastic smells! My friends and I walked in to checkout this store and love it! The employee was bubbly, positive and super nice.

We discovered this company several years ago, and have been using their products ever since. She makes all of her own soaps and lotions, and they are top quality!! We always stop in for gifts for our pet sitters when we are in the area.

You can smell the amazing soaps and body products before you even go inside. This is my kind of store and I couldn't wait to go inside and check it out. We were greeted by the most wonderful lady that was helping out her friends that own the place. Her enthusiasm was contagious. She loved the place like it was her own. We had a wonderful conversation while I looked around. The store is absolutely beautiful, you can see the love that went in to it. I found a perfume that I would have loved to splurge on, it was a hundred dollars and I felt it was high. The location of this store you expect prices to be higher. The only reason I didn't give five stars was for the spray I purchased. Once you spray it disappears within a couple minutes. We feel it doesn't do the job it's supposed to do. My daughter isn't using it due to it not being effective.

I do not consider myself to be a boujee person, however I exclusively only use soap from here. I have no idea how they made the soap smell so pungent and realistic. Whenever I use it in the shower, my entire bathroom will become enveloped in the scent. The soap is decently priced for what you get. In my experience, the soap will last for a whole season. Which only adds to the appeal so that I can be seasonal scented. If you can't decide which one to chose, when in doubt I go for the Cherry Almond!

This is my kind of shop. It's a gorgeous little boutique on Embarcadero that is a refreshing break from all of the touristy souvenir shops. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. I love that she intentionally features mostly local artisans for the products she doesn't make herself. These are quality small-batch bath, body, and fragrance products and I thoroughly enjoyed perusing each and every shelf. I was also thrilled to find a uniquely scented perfume roll-on that I will be packing on my next vacation. I would highly recommend checking out Babylonian Soap Company when you're in the Morro Bay area. But be prepared to not leave empty-handed!

Love this place. Was touring and stopping at Morro Bay from a long drive from Big Sur to San Diego. Walking by Embarcadero, I was immediately caught by amazing smell. My daughter and I went inside the boutique style store full of soaps, bath homes, candles, lotions and spray. We bought candles and bath bombs which smelled amazing and very good quality. Unfortunately, we are not local so we just have to shop through their online store.

Such a kind owner!! My candle's wick burned out, and she let me replace it for free!! Everything here smells so good, and it's a very peaceful and chill area on the embarkadero. Love this shop! I go here every time I am on vacation

Best place for your natural soaps, face creams and more, also Traci is a gem, I couldn't be happier with her products. If you go to Morro Bay, you have to stop at her store, you won't be disappointed

I love to visit when I am in Morro Bay. Tracy is always so friendly and helpful. I always find items that I love.

Be prepared to be transported to a place of serenity and calm- walking through the door ignites the senses- lovely space- filled with large variety of handmade soaps and bath bombs- floral, woodsy, citrus- something for everyone. Massage oils, candles, shampoos, face creams and more. Located on the Embarcadero in Morro Bay where there is plenty of free parking all around. Products available for on line purchase as well. Reasonably priced high quality products. What a treat!

Great selection of soap scents and candles. Locally made with natural ingredients so nothing harsh or uncertainty whats in it. Its worth a look see and try an item out. I was pleasantly surprised and Im a soap snob!

Visited Morro Bay today and this shop was on my priority list. The last time I was at this shop was 2019. I'm so glad to see it's still in business. Love their soaps and other bath products.

We always stop into Babylonian Soap Company when we're near Morro Bay. The owner, Tracy is wonderful and always takes care of us, adding a special personal touch in her business, that is rare these days. They also make many of their own products, that never disappoint. When we can't make it to her store, we have ordered and had their products shipped to family and friends as gifts. I highly recommend!

The owner of this business needs to learn proper customer service. That includes people with disabilities of all ages. She only had two customers in her store of the time while a family and friends were outside were talking. I could tell the little boy was non verbal (autistic) and he was excited. The family outside was not disturbing anyone inside. The owner went outside and I could hear the conversation with the owner and the family as she (owner) had the door open and I'm deeply disturbed and disappointed with the by the owners choice of words and attitude. I saw the mother returning her purchase and yet explaining her son is autistic. The mother later informed the owner he (son) was happy as they ran into some friends and was not screaming nor were they inside the store, nor blocking the entry/exit way of her business. I intended to make several purchases, however this owner's customer service towards individuals with disabilities was completely and utterly disturbing and rude. She was even rolling her eyes while the mother was talking to her. I will not support small businesses like hers.

First off, owner was super rude. My brothers and I are visiting Morro Bay from out of town and window shopping as most tourists do. I was wanting to buy bath bombs from a small business for my new place, but the owner was a prude. We come in for around 1 min and my brother was trying the perfumes out from the tester that is labeled "tester". The owner loudly says "do not spray my products like 20 times" and we just looked at her and left. Not even worth our time or energy over her. Don't have a shop on the beach and have tester products out if you don't want people to try them. Caught someone on a bad day? Probably wouldn't treat an older person like that. Little did she know we were serious buyers. DONT GO HERE unless you want to be lectured or yelled at for having kids with you. I can also guarantee she is going to try and argue with my review based on the reviews from others on here where she has tried to argue. Bad business owner. The rest of these "5 star" reviews have to be fake and made by her

Can't get enough of these products. For you dudes, I highly recommended the Man Bar and bath bombs. The store is clean and breathtaking and Tracy is so helpful and cool and knowledgeable. Absolutely love it.

If you are shopping in Morro Bay, and you love natraul products, you will definitely want to stock up on as many products as possible here. I am a big fan of natraul products, but this place tops anything you can buy at Whole Foods or Sprouts. I am not going to lie, I blew a ton of money twice here and the soaps are worth every penny. I specifically stopped here just to stock up. I even bought my sister and boyfriend some homemade and locally made artisan products as well.

I love BSC!! We've been getting stuff from Tracy for many years and love all of it. I've bought soaps, bath bombs, lotions, scrubs, hand sanitizer, incense, chocolates, etc. Not 1 thing we've gotten has been bad quality. We look forward to visiting the store and chatting with Tracy every trip we make to the central coast. And in the times that I need to replenish but we aren't heading to the coast, I order from her website and have my stuff within days. Thank you Tracy and BSC!!

Two words. Man Bar. Three more words. MORE MAN BARS! Seriously fellas, the man bar will literally make your stock on Tinder skyrocket! Smells super manly, but let's the ladies know you have a sensitive side as well. And! And! And! All the oils and scrubby things, make your skin feel like a million bucks! So, always have a man bar, and back up man bars in your shower, or wherever you happen to bathe, and be ready to reap all of the benefits that smelling manly has to offer!

Such a cool shop! I've been in the area several times and never saw this place. I am a sucker for scented lotions and bath products. I went in wanting to buy a bath bomb or two but wound up in front of the perfume. So many amazing scents! I wound up buying a fragrence called Jasmine brown sugar and it smells amazing! A little goes a long way too. I sprayed a tester on my wrist and I can still smell it 6 hours later. The bottle was over $20 for one ounce but you only need one spritz and you are good to go. My hubby loves it so this is my new favorite fragrance!

This is a fabulous place! Tracy is the very best at helping pick whatever I want from just personal items to fantastic gifts! The soaps and scrubs are the very best I have ever used! Love the choices of gifts for anyone! And if I need something special and don't have time Tracy will put something together and wrap it! The prices are the best bang for your buck of any store like this! I highly recommend all her products from soaps, bath balms, lotions, candles and such fun and different scents!

What a find. Beautiful shop with excellent service. They make all their soaps,lotion,scrubs and much more. She gave use a sample for our hotel too. Amazing I'm so glad we bought soap for a year lol. Will be back next trip.

Just stopped in while vacationing in SoCal , the lemon soap and cherry smell AMAZING! Owner was sweet as well. I am looking forward to trying the soaps since my sensitive skin doesn't do well with commercial products.

The first time I went to Babylonian Soap Co was back in 2018 on a family trip, I purchased my now husband the man bar soap which he loved. We are honeymooning in Morro Bay so the moment we got into to town we made a bee line for the store to stock up. The products are fantastic and I adore the patchouli and the cherry almond soap.

5-Stars to a local jewel. The owner is such a sweetheart and she really stands behind her products! My fav is charcoal, tea tree, and cherry almond bars. They also have a men's section. Men's stuff smells divine too! Ohhhh and the massage oils.... You have to check this place out. Local products at great prices!

I walked into this place and the atmosphere was excellent. We were welcomed by the friendly young lady working the shop today. I forgot her name, but she could have been the owner. She helped up and kindly offered us the information to order online, once completed our purchase. The shop was clean and the soap looked and smelled great. I selected 4 soaps and the shape and quality of the soap was an A+. I encourage any and every one to shop with this store, online or in person. Thank you for the greatness.

My son is autistic and he does not have certain social skills like other people. Me and my wife were standing outside on the SIDEWALK talking to a couple not even in her store. My son was having fun he is non verbal and the business owner came out being very rude to us saying "can you keep it down" talking about my son. right after my wife had just bought some soaps. She returned the soaps to the shop as she felt overwhelmed with emotion that someone would even try to tell her child to keep it down. Upon returning the soaps she proceeded to tell my wife that she should be more courteous and take the child somewhere else. My wife questioned her support in understanding autistic children and she didn't have much to say other than " that's not what I'm saying as she rolled her eyes". I truly hope people take in consideration where their money is going when it comes to private businesses like this. If you don't have the support why should you give support! This business DOES NOT SUPPORT FAMILIES that have kids with Autism. If you have a crying baby/ crying child....happy child/ very verbal child....child that makes sounds/noises that are "too much" this owner is the type to tell you to move even though IT IS LEGAL TO STAND ON A SIDEWALK.

All natural and real scents! Not harsh synthetic scents you find from most soaps. Every time we visit Morro Bay, Babylonian Soap Co. is a MUST!

This is hands down the best place for nurturing and lovely smelling bath and body products. My favorites are their face cream, body butters, and bath bombs. The bath bombs fizz for a generous amount of time, make my skin baby-soft, and make my bathroom smell amazing.

I discovered this wonderful store a few years ago, and now, whenever I visit Morro Bay, Babylonian Soap Company is always on the itinerary. In addition to a friendly, helpful staff, the products are exceptional: pure, natural, and great smelling!! My favorite scents are the Honey Almond and the Lavender. I'm very picky about lavender, and this one is so pure and natural that I know it's top grade. I've been so impressed with their products that I included them in my wedding party's gift bags a few months ago, and everyone loved them!

Cool little place. Has a ton of soaps, moisturizers, after shave, candles and tea. Pretty pricey for me, but if your into this stuff then this place is for you. For 3 tea packages it was $22. My mom bought one for after dinner and an hour before bedtime.

What a quaint store my Mom & I found while there to see family. We met the owner herself, working the counter that day. She is super friendly, approachable and takes the time to explain the products she has created. You can tell she has poured her heart into the making of these high end bath products. I have truly enjoyed bath salts and bombs, as well as soap and chapsticks. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced anything but soothing (and deliciously scented) baths! This is a must- visit shop for yourself and/or gifts!

I love this little place. Always make it point to stop in and purchase something on my trips to the Central Coast. Everything smells amazing and is priced pretty fairly. The staff are always nice and helpful as well. Their lemongrass soap is my favorite.

If you are anywhere near by this wonderful place is a little slice of heaven. I've been following her business online for 2 years and how I wish I would have made my way here sooner. LOVE LOVE LOVE Tracy's products! My husband is in love with the Man Bar, my personal favorites are her Lavendar Vanilla products and the numerous bath bombs she has available. Seriously, you've got to visit her store, or give her a call and she will ship to you. I live in SOCAL and visit her store when we are in the Morro Bay Area a few times a year. Definitely one of my highlights of our visits.

Love this place. Not just for the lady folk! The charcoal and tea tree soaps are great for getting cleaned up after a hard workout. The Man Bar is fantastic. Cleans without drying. Service wise, always a good experience. Whether it's Tracy the owner or an employee, everyone's attentive, welcoming and eager to assist. As a local, this my go to place for soaps.

Great soap! Very kind and knowledgeable staff. You definitely get what you pay for which is quality soap. I have tried their teatree soap and it works wonders on my face. Has helped reduce my acne as well. Their teas are great as well!

I am so in love with this shop!! We were on vacation and stopped by this shop on our way back from SLO. The assortment of products is fabulous. Products such a bars of soap, skincare, bath bombs, lotions and body creams and just some of the items they have at their store. The saleswoman was so helpful. She found perfect products that are perfect to pamper a busy mom like myself. I love all my products. Especially the Micellar water and Cleopatra spray. Will be ordering again

I love this store, the owner and the other gal working here are so helpful and sweet. Overheard a weird interaction with a customer that came in and wanted to bad mouth the owner. I'd didn't faze the girl working, she kinda apologized and the lady left. After the whole incident she said " you never know what people are going through". How well put and what a wonderful ambassador to your business. I will always continue to shop there and thank you for having our favorite candle and saving me shipping fees.

I like the stuff they sell there but I always feel like I am being watched like a hawk. Like if I am going to steal something. I went in with my family this weekend an an older lady was working and she was watching me and my daughter like a hawk, we were smelling everything trying to choose what we wanted. I ended up buying a few items for my daughter and myself.The older sales lady stuffed all three items in a little bag it could not even fold over to close it. I asked if I could have a bigger and she said it will be $5.00!! WTH!! I thought she was kidding at first and she said well they are much nicer bags and not cheap.. Umm yes they are! A paper bag w a handle with a sticker put on with the stores name...Ridiculous!

This is one of our favorite spots when we visit the coast. The owner is a wonderful person and the soap is of the highest quality. We have purchased dozens of bars of soap from this special shop.
