Bacaro Quebrado was the first place we had dinner at in Venice. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't take reservations, so we arrived just a little after 7, and didn't get seated till a little after 8. So we waited for about an hour before we got seated. So keep that in mind, if you're trying to eat here. There are also not a lot of tables here, so if you have a large party, you will definitely be waiting a long long time.
We got some of the fried mozzarella to share, which was pretty good! I also got a little serving of mushrooms that were doused in oil. They were pretty tasty! For my main dish, I got the pesto pasta, and my wife got a pasta dish, but I can't remember which one it was. It was good though! My pesto pasta was excellent!!! I am normally not a fan of pesto, but this dish was excellent! It wasn't an overwhelming taste of pesto like how it can be in some dishes. It's a pretty popular dish here as well. I saw a few tables that had it when we went to our table. All the food was great!
Bacaro Quebrado isn't an expensive restaurant at all. Everything is very affordable, and they don't make you pay so much. The portion sizes of our pasta were pretty big too. We sat inside, but there are a few tables outside. It's the kind of place, where you sit wherever you're seated, because they don't have a lot of space to accommodate your preferred seating. I would definitely come back here if I ever found myself in Venice again in the future.
