Pork chops had a savory delicious sauce, making the dish outstanding. The halibut was also outstanding. The sword fish wasn’t well liked. Service was excellent and drinks were tasty. Valet service is complimentary- a nice touch. Historic building was pretty on the exterior.

Google
Perfect place for celebrating a special occasion. Our waiter David provided great pairing choices for wine to go with our dinners, we toasted the night, and the delicate way my swordfish was prepared made it the most savory I've ever even had. Not to metion desert. Wonderful evening !

Google
Deserving of Michelin star rating. This restaurant did not disappoint. Went with my gf, had the asparagus ravioli and peacan crusted salmon.Probably the best meal i've ever had. And the beet salad was amazing and as well as the presentation. Gf also had the Manhattan and i had a margarita, they don't cheap out on the alc. Highly recommended. 10 stars!!!

We visited this restaurant and were absolutely delighted! 🍽️ The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food is incredibly delicious. Every dish looks like a piece of art — and tastes even better. We especially loved the “seafood pasta”. Thank you for a wonderful evening — we’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in after my daughter’s college graduation. Four of us dined, two Bolognese, one Salmon and one ravioli. Everything was excellent and the service was as top notch. Price was on par for a downtown restaurant. Highly recommend this place.

I needed a last-minute reservation and emailed Bacchus late on a Monday night—fully expecting to hear back the next day since they were closed. To my surprise, I received a response and a call back within 15 minutes from a very kind woman who personally took my reservation. What started as a party of six quickly grew to ten, and throughout every change—from six to eight to nine to ten—the front desk and server team couldn’t have been more accommodating. Not once did they show frustration; instead, they handled the updates with grace and professionalism. The food? Absolutely spectacular. Every single guest in our group was blown away—not just by the quality of the dishes, but by the flawless service and thoughtful attention to detail. One of our guests, who is truly a “foodie” in every sense of the word (and not easily impressed), said Bacchus delivered on every level. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and a team that goes above and beyond. Bacchus exceeded all expectations. Bravo.

Google
Lovely dining experience from start to finish. Welcoming upscale interior with small bar. Outstanding martini made to specific requirements and bartender’s knowledge on beer was spot on. Menu was seasonal and eclectic. We shared a beet and goat cheese appetizer with a tasty citrus vinaigrette. We had the Thai inspired mussels and rib eye with Gorgonzola. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and could have stood on its own. Loved the 1/2 bottle wine options. And our waitress, Kristin, was incredible. Great experience here.

Google
First, let me start by saying that we had the most amazing waitress ever. Her name was Kristin and we will be requesting her again when we come back. Our meal started with 3 small plates and boy were they all stellar. We ordered the calamari, artichokes and the mussels. Our entree was the Pork Milanaise and the Ribeye!

Yelp
Service was top tier! I'd left something in my car and was prepared to run to the car but instead, the valet offered to retrieve it for me. Coming from Southern CA, I've never received that offer and it meant a lot. Now, the good was phenomenal. We ordered the Brie, Caesar salad, TarTar, and Calamari before dinner and it was all so mouthwatering. Our main course of the Salmon and also stead didn't disappoint either. That was some of the most succulent and flavorful salmon I've ever had and it paired very well with the sides. Genuinely a 10/10

Yelp
We came here for New Year's Eve. It was a busy night, but the staff stayed on top of everything. We had a nice drink at the bar while we waited for our table to free up. Then once seated at the table, our server, Kristin, gave us exceptional attention. She knew every dish on the menu. She knew the extensive wine list in depth and when she heard the wines we were leaning towards, she recommended another wine on the menu that she said was similar profile but exceptional. We went with her suggestion and it really was a gem. She even offered to decant it, which was literally reading my mind since I like to decant any wine that's 5 years or older. Food was top notch. There was a complimentary amuse bouche of Alaskan king crab with saffron cream. So fresh and flavorful. As the first course, my husband had a Caesar salad with extra anchovies. The anchovies had a nice fresh flavor, not overbrined. I opted for the special paddlefish caviar with bubbles. It was delectable, with the creaminess of the cheese spread land the hint of chives cushioning and enhancing the flavor of the caviar. Second course was a filet au poivre for me. It was cooked perfectly and had a nice thickness. The pepper sauce was just hitting my limit on pepperyness (I'm a peppercorn lightweight). But the true star of the plate was the 12 hour braised tomato, which had such a rich and concentrated flavor. Mmm. My husband had duck breast, which was served with a risotto with bits of duck confit, squash, pumpkin seeds and pomegranate drizzle. He loved it. For dessert, we split a crème brulée cheesecake and I got a nice glass of Armagnac. It's been a long time since I've been so satisfied with a restaurant meal. What a perfect end to the year.

Yelp
I went with a friend of mine to hear live music on a Friday night. We did not realize how busy they would be, or we would have made reservations. We decided to have dinner at the bar which worked out okay but I will definitely make reservations next time I go. We started with baked brie. The brie was served warm with pistachios, figs, and a berry jam. I also ordered a sqash soup. I was not a fan that is because I i don't like the seasonings. If I had read the description, I wouldn't have ordered it. My friend, however, raved about how good it was. I had a ribeye which I ordered without the gorgonzola crust. It was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back. Loved the live music - the atmosphere and the food.

Yelp
I've been to Bacchus Wine Bar and Restaurant a handful of times, and while there are many things I love about this place, a few inconsistencies keep it from being a perfect experience. Food wise, their seasonal bao buns are a solid choice. I've tried the pork belly and bacon-wrapped shrimp versions, and both were excellent appetizers. I've also had the seasonal soft-shell crab, which was good, though I'd personally prefer a little less breading. One thing that never disappoints is the seared foie gras - definitely a must-try if it's on the menu!! It's always cooked perfectly and has the right balance of richness and flavor. Unfortunately, my experience with the lamb wasn't as great. It came out completely raw, which was disappointing, and I'll definitely be avoiding that item if it returns to the menu. Service is usually friendly, but a bit inconsistent. There were times when my server was hard to flag down, which affected the overall flow of the meal. The ambiance is cozy and upscale, making it a great spot to unwind with a glass of wine from their extensive list. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, and I'd still recommend Bacchus for a nice evening out, especially if you're a fan of their wine selection and appetizers.

Yelp
My sister had her birthday dinner here. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it was literally like 20 minutes before our waiter came over and introduced himself to us. It was about another hour before he came back and took our orders. Then it took another 30-40 before we were brought the complimentary bread, however, the bread was a hit once it arrived. The food for the most part was great! The Duck Ragu appetizer was amazing and enough for 2 or 3 people. The Halibut was very flavorful and melted in your mouth. I loved the sauce it came with but my sister preferred it without. The Caesar salad was so simple but sooo good! The croutons stole the show! My other sister didn't care for her chicken meal. She said it was overcooked and bland. The drinks weren't a hit a my table but I loved mine. I think it was called "exit without a bear." It was the only bourbon drink on the menu but it was perfect to me. We weren't offered any complimentary birthday shots like at Ruth Chris or Jazzboline. Also, we were served room temperature water the whole time! Would I eat here again? Yes, but definitely not with more than 2 people. I don't think they really know how to handle large tables. At least not in my experience.

Yelp
I had a 8p reservation and I was seated promptly. However, there was a large dinner party so service was a bit delayed. I tried Tuna Tartare 10/10 Bacchus Bouillabaisse 1000/10 and a Negroni Sbagliato 8/10. The fresh bread 10/10. It was a bit chilly inside, the server did adjust the temp near the table at our request. I recommend and look forward to going again.

Yelp
Bacchus continues to impress. The food is for the most part excellent. A great server like we had tonight, Ann Marie, compels the fifth star. She took care of our table of eight in the private dining room by herself and kept things moving nicely. Not only is there talent in the kitchen, but the menu planning is very creative, very impressive. The duck was certainly good and nicely seasoned but the accompanying Israeli couscous with pumpkin seeds was spectacular. As was the calamari and shrimp appetizer. I was going to pout because their bouillabaisse was not available tonight and that is usually what I have at this fine establishment, but that forced me to get what I ordinarily would not have and I'm glad of it. The people in my group got a variety of cocktails, which I'm told were all properly made. My double bourbon was a nice heavy pour. The glasses, flatware, place settings were all elegant and functional. Our waitress knew how to pour wine, which is a dying art. The coffee was a bit weak, but I chalk that up to personal preference and not a shortcoming of this excellent restaurant. The desserts were decadent and not too large. If I had any criticism at all, it would be that the water that is served tasted highly chlorinated, even though it was poured from Bottles that suggested it was something other than tapwater. But as I said, our server was so good and so attentive that I cannot give anything less than five stars.

Yelp
Bacchus was a great welcome to Buffalo!!!! Approximately a 3 minute walk from our Hotel. We had reservations so we were immediately seated, our waitress brought us the daily specials list and wine list. We both ordered the Passion Fruit Margarita with Black Salt Rim. I ordered for my meal the Roasted Chicken with Ranch Drizzle, accompanied with Mashed potatoes with caramelized onions and a tomato spring salad. Lord have mercy, those little cherry tomatoes were bursting with juicy deliciousness!¡! Clearly this garnish sets the tone for the dish. I complimented the tomato salad and the waitress brought out a small plate with a serving of the tomato salad!!!! Hats down, such stellar customer service!!! The chef is in the kitchen " Setting it Off"!!!!! Everything was superb. The mood of the restaurant is relaxing , the uplighting and ambiance is like a warm hug!!!! Thanks for the welcome to Buffalo on a night when the Bills won over Miami by 24 points , wide receiver just came through like a steam roller!!! So tonights meal was celebrated as that win!!! We see yoi being fabulous Bacchus!!!! Our Bill was $120 , but worth ever cent.

Yelp
We've been here for the last two years of our anniversary and to celebrate our engagement, and went back for my partners birthday. They truly saved the day after we were saddened by going to Coco Bar & Bistro's service, we tried here again and it was one of the best meals we've had in buffalo. I had the winter chowder and my partner had the maple dijon glazed pork belly and both were phenomenal. and the wait staff was so nice!

Yelp
Food was amazing, pork loin was on point. Service was great. Will recommend the Mac n cheese as a starter. Only complaint was the band was too loud and sounded awful due to the poor equipment.
google avatar

Yelp
A very delicious dinner. We had the raviolis, duck and ahi tuna with a calamari appetizer. Everything was incredible. Just fyi- The serving size was huge for this type of restaurant. The service was great. Highly recommended this place for a special occasion.

Yelp
It had been years since I had been to Bacchus. It was a friend's birthday and that's where she wanted to go. I am so glad she chose Bacchus because it was an outstanding evening with fabulous service and food prepared perfectly. Everything that was ordered was over the top. No one left hungry nor dissatisfied. This will become one of our go to spots from now on. .

Yelp
We came in with a reservation and we were seated almost immediately. Service was fantastic. Food was pretty good. The restaurant interior was beautiful. We tried the shrimp crusted swordfish and gorgonzola crusted rib eye. Rib eye was medium rare and had full of flavor especially with the gorgonzola cheese on top. Shrimp crusted swordfish was flaky and fresh. That herb risotto on bottom was cooked perfectly. This was a good combination and would order again. Yes it is expensive since it is fine dining.

Yelp
We love this place! Early reservation and we were seated immediately. The dining room filled rapidly and...enough staff were working. The details impressed me. Substantial cutlery on the white tablecloths. Huge wine list, with impressive variety and modest prices. The dining room is large and even full the noise is controlled...must be the carpet and something magic on the ceiling. Menu is American International fusion. I had the half chicken which was deboned and served with crispy skin. My partner dined on pork loin with root vegetables. I'd rate the chicken a 10 and the pork a 7. Every employee we encountered seemed happy to be here and trained in gracious service. Already planning our next visit.

Yelp
Took my wife here for her birthday and it was amazing. I had the chicken&potatoes and she had the ahi tuna- both were delicious. The cocktails were one of the tastiest I have had. The seating didn't feel like we were on top of each other. I would definitely come here again

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Buffalo! Great location and amazing food. The pecan crusted salmon is amazing. I've never had a bad steak. The drinks are high quality and within price range as they should.

Yelp
Bacchus USED to be one of my fav special occasion places. I honestly don't know what happened to the place, but it has gone downhill. Food: the Mac and cheese gnocchi was good, the halibut was fair, and the shrimp/polenta special was near inedible. We have never in our lives tasted a dish so salty!! There is no way the chef tasted this and let it go out like that. Not to mention the fact that the shrimp was overcooked. Drinks: the Golden Swan tequila cocktail was horrible and I sent it back. Service: the service was not great. Our server was fairly inattentive, and in fact, disappeared for almost 15 min., forcing us to ask someone to fetch her so we could get the bill. The sad part is that there were only 6 tables occupied in the whole place! The service should have been stellar. Bacchus raised their prices a fair amount since we were there last year and I would expect a better experience for that kind of money. A very disappointing birthday.

Yelp
I've been here a few times before and each experience has always been wonderful! The valet is a nice touch, ambiance is cozy and intimate, and each dish I've had has been absolutely delicious! Will continue to return here for all my special occasions. We ordered a handful of appetizers including the calamari and scallop specials, gnocchi Mac n cheese, and tuna tartare. For my entree I had the filet and it was melt in your mouth, cooked to perfection (I always do a medium rare). The bacon jam topping went so well with it! Finished with some creme brulee for dessert and it was caramelized just right.

Yelp
A decent wine bar and restaurant in the downtown area. It has a fair amount of seating inside along with a small bar. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. I went with a Caesar salad, which had an odd addition of potato "croutons". For my meal I had the mushroom flatbread, which also had a nice mix of prosciutto with the mushrooms. It was a little heavy in the oil and reggiano though. Not a bad meal but nothing especially memorable either.

Yelp
A favorite place. Had a nice dinner last night and everyone raved on their food. I had the ahi tuna and it was fantastic... along with a nice Spanish red. Our server was wonderful. Just the right amount of attention and super pleasant and charming. Absolutely recommend.

Yelp
This is a popular spot - it was busy on a Saturday night. We had reservations which were easy to make online. They offer valet parking. Their wine list is great (as a wine bar should be!). We asked our server for a recommendation for a bottle to share since we have different tastes in wines, and he brought us one to taste that we absolutely loved. The wine was the highlight of the meal. We both ordered the caesar salad - it came in a unique presentation with whole romaine leaves, and it was delicious - not overly dressed, and served with potato croutons which were also a unique addition. We shared the cheese and meat plate, which was a perfect addition to the salads for a light dinner. They also serve bread at the table with a delicious oil mixture. The service was okay - our server was friendly, but a little M.I.A. The atmosphere here is great - they had the windows open and it was a gorgeous night.

Yelp
This was my second visit to Bacchus and both times were delicious. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a smart casual vibe. We were greeted immediately upon entering and showed to our table where our party awaited our arrival. We were asked right away if we wanted something to drink. Their Manhattan is fantastic, served on a nice block of ice in a lowball glass with a delicious cherry. I ordered off the specials menu, and chose the bass. It was served with a delicious sauce and a light salad with fennel and orange segments. The fish was served atop green lentils and a creamy mashed potato. It was light and hearty at the same time. The espresso martini is delicious as an alternative to dessert. All in all a solid restaurant with great cocktails, hearty, beautiful food, and great service.

Yelp
Bacchus is my new favorite splurge. We did a couples night here with friends who are VIPs when they come here. They have been coming here for years, are regulars, everyone knows them, their kids grew up here, love it. On this particular night, my boyfriend and I split the steak and eggs as a app. It is beef carpaccio. It was delicious. I wanted more and more of that beef. I loved all elements of this dish. For my meal, I went with the ahi tuna. It was served with a crispy rice cake and avocado miso salad with an incredible chili glaze. The tuna was delicious, but what stole the show for me was that crispy rice cake. Holy moly! I loved that the rice was crispy. I never ever thought about rice being crispy. It was the highlight and I want my boyfriend to make this for me, or somehow use an air fryer to replicate at home. The chili glaze just put it over the edge for me. I was here earlier in the month and I thought that shrimp encrusted swordfish was divine, but then I had this ahi tuna and crispy rice cake and I further fell in love. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. My boyfriend ordered the pork chop and loved it as well.

Yelp
After a long day of sight seeing at Niagara-on-the-Lake, my work buddy and I checked out Yelp to find a nearby spot for a relaxing meal within walking distance of our hotel. We landed at Bacchus which is a beautiful restaurant with big windows and plenty of space to dine, you don't feel cramped. We ordered the cheese and meat plate, the bao buns, and tacos off the stater menu with wine, of course. The food was average. The bao buns were especially a disappointment. The most flavorful item was the tacos but even those were not overwhelming. Service was good. Would not visit again with all the other great options in the surprisingly, unexpected food scene found in Buffalo.

Yelp
Went for a birthday dinner with my partner and the ambience was more casual than I expected to be. Possibly because looking out on Chippewa you see all kinds of commotion happening. We both ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts ($48) and enjoyed it. For an appetizer, we got the rock shrimp and calamari ($13) which was served in a really delicious glaze. There were small things that somewhat deflated the other wise great dining experience, including not having enough steak knives for both of us at the start of our meals (ever try using a butter knife to cut a steak, lol) and being served the wrong steaks (they swapped our medium and medium well steaks, so my partner just thought they messed up out right and ate about a 1/3 before vocalizing something). The dessert though was divine and since it was her birthday they comped for a dessert and she chose the Jameson tiramisu, which really was amazing. They offer complementary valet service as well which we definitely took advantage of. i'd recommend checking out this place for a nice meal and strongly encourage reservations.

Yelp
Food was out of this world. I order the NY Strip steak and it was truly the best. We were party 5 and all of us were very impressed by the food. The only con was it was very loud. We are there on a Wednesday evening, so we were expecting a quiet evening. Server was new and had too many tables. Over all he was very good.

Yelp
We're looking for a place to have a night of enjoyment with 50 family members and have great food, and this is the place. The exterior is beautiful , valet parking as well, parking lot is across the street ita so convenient. The restaurant is styled beautifully. Access is great for disabled or elderly . The bar is a modest but nice size. The bartender was awesome he had a drink he created called the "Nothern hound" it was quite a delicious concoction . we all had one that evening and loved it. The seating is very tasteful. Table sizes were ample , we were a party of 4. We enjoyed the apps and entrees , the timing was especially good, as was the food. Everything we ordered was tried by each of us . Every dish was way above expectations. I enjoyed a glass of wine with my dish that was suggested. It would pair well, it did. I was unable to stay for dessert, but my sister kindly ordered mine and returned it home for me to try the following day. It was quite delicious. I highly recommend trying this place for a first date as it will impress anyone. A family gathering or a couple enjoying their nite out once a month. It's not an inexpensive night out but a most memorable one. Worth it completely. Servers , staff were on point. My only comment would be they use tap water in a glass bottle so it appears to be a spring water but isn't. Its my only gripe

Yelp
I am SO glad we decided to dine at Bacchus prior to the Billy Joel concert this past weekend! What a perfect meal and experience all around. We were the first ones there at ~5:20 - I would say reservations are key here, though, as they filled up pretty quickly after that on a gorgeous Saturday night. We went with two glasses of wine, Col the Lambrusco and me a Rose Prosecco - both were phenomenal and they list is clearly crafted to be a match with all of their menu items. The break and olive oil was thoughtfully presented and flavored. We went with all small plates for dinner and did not regret going this route. We enjoyed the berry salad (every table around us ordered this and it was basic but delicious), gnocchi mac and cheese, calamari & shrimp, and steak and eggs. I would order every single one of those things over and over again. Don't skip the creme brulee! Our server Maxwell was super attentive and everything came out FAST - which was awesome since we were late. :) A meal we won't soon forget! Thanks to the team at Bacchus for helping us commemorate a special weekend!

Yelp
Went there for our 10th wedding. Service was impeccable, and the food was even better. No photos taken, because we were focused on our date; easy to do because the setting is conducive to a wonderful date night. Expensive, but you're paying for the environment, as well as exemplary food product.
google avatar

Olivia T.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Bacchus. Such a good spot for a date night! The service was great. It is quite expensive; however, you definitely get what you pay. I absolutely LOVED the gnocchi mac and cheese and pecan crusted salmon! I highly recommend these two items on the menu. I did think the drinks we're a little underwhelming, although I am a cocktail girl. I'm sure they have delicious wine on the menu :)

Yelp
I brought my girlfriend to Bacchus for our 1 year anniversary. She spent 10 years living in LA and dined at most of their trendy restaurants so I had my work cut out for me in making it a memorable day. Bacchus came through in delivering a fantastic dining experience - the service, food and ambiance were all spot on. We started with the Oysters and experimented with the specialty cocktails. For our mains I went with the Tuna and she went with the Salmon. Large portions and cooked to perfection with tasty sides. We ended the meal by sampling the triple chocolate cake between us. There was no hiding the smile on her face and glad I trusted Bacchus with this special occasion.

Yelp
4 solid stars for very specific reasons. A group of us stopped in a few nights ago. Our group ordered numerous things, including salmon, swordfish, ribeye, and I got the filet mignon. My filet was cooked perfectly but the stand out in the dish was the cheesy potato croquette on the side... just amazballs. It's crunchy on the outside and creamy and delicious on the inside. Everyone said their meals were "just fine." The person who got the swordfish said it was a tad salty and they wouldn't get it again. The standout on the table was from our appetizers. We got the gnocchi and cheese dish... WOW! Giant gnocchi in a delicate cheese sauce, topped with large slices of prosciutto and mushrooms. Note: the mushrooms and Prosciutto wasn't listed on the menu, I think it should be for allergy issues. But anyway, probably one of the best dishes I've had in awhile. The wine list is moderately impressive. We shared a local dry riesling that was tasty. For dessert we all shared 3: tiramisu, sticky Toffee cake, and creme brulee Cheesecake. I wasn't expecting much from the Cheesecake, but it was perfect, they really got the creme brulee flavor and the crust was delicious as well. The tiramisu and sticky Toffee cake can be skipped in the future, we all thought so. Nothing special at all with them. I definitely would go back, but my order would be a strange one for sure. Gnocchi and cheese with a side of potato croquette, and the creme brulee Cheesecake for dessert lol. 1 star for a surprising appetizer that I could eat everyday, 1 start for my amazing croquette, 1 star for the dessert, and 1 star for the service! Shout out to our server, Anna Maria, she was extremely helpful and attentive.

Yelp
We are from out of town and showed up on a Friday. We were told no tables were available (that's fine) so we sat at the bar. The food, drinks, and bartenders were all amazing. Thanks for a great evening!

Yelp
The food and service was fantastic. That lamb....stupid good. The best lamb I have ever had, hands down! Anything you order to eat or drink will be straight fire.

Yelp
Service was great, steak could have been better as it was a bit more on the salty side

Yelp
The food was delicious. The beet salad and scallops were great dishes. The presentation and flavors were perfection and well paired with the Sauvignon Blanc.

Yelp
One of the few really good restaurants in Buffalo. Nice ambience inside, a little upscale, but not too stuffy, and in a cool location downtown. Good is really good quality, always fresh and the bread they serve is on point. We ordered the salmon, the chicken, and the Caesar and I enjoyed everything. Quickly becoming on of my go to places.

Yelp
Last minute tickets for shea's tonight. It's been a few years since we dined at Bacchus. Always a great time, nice atmosphere and good food. I went with the Dijon crusted lamb, I substituted out the white bean & sausage cassoulet for risotto. the Lamb was perfectly cooked and tasty. finnished with the creme brulee. the service from Annie was perfect!

Service was fantastic and very accommodating for special requests. The lamb chops had a great crisp, but it was undercooked and most likely was cooked with too much butter. It was all mint on one side and sweet on the other. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly and we would return.

Yelp
Good heaven! Bacchus was simply amazing. Everything from the ambiance, to the service to the food. It was an incredible experience. Our waiter was SO knowledgeable and willing to share a bit about his personal story, info about the restaurant, and suggestions for food and wine. They did NOT skimp on the wine! It was very worth the cost for the amount you get. I was very pleased. I got the charcuterie board and the scallops. I didn't want it to end. Omg DROOL! I think this will be our staple whenever we visit buffalo. I came in from Rochester for a couple days. I've been craving it since I've been home! Delish!

Yelp
Bacchus was the first restaurant I dined in after the COVID-19 closures. I thought their patio was beautifully setup for dining and that the staff did a marvelous job in keeping things spaced apart. The nice thing is that their indoor dining room is so spacious too that I feel like once dining rooms reopen, it will be a place I'd feel comfortable dining at. To top it off, as far as I know they are still doing the amazing curbside takeout deal for those that don't want to dine in. For the meal, I had the soft shelled crab BLT, which was a nice shareable entree, a half dozen oysters (wonderfully cleaned and briney sea water taste), beet salad and shared the asparagus ravioli which was a seasonal item. I also tried the gnocchi mac and cheese with prosciutto on top. Everything was very flavorful and the asparagus ravioli was a huuuge win...the crunchy garlic bits on top, the shaved parmesan and the ricotta stuffed ravioli with seasonal asparagus...all of this was just incredibly flavorful. Service was great and plenty of hand sanitizer on the tables as well.

Yelp
Fantastic seafood, delicious bar items. I've been here for dinner and special events, both times have been stellar. It's a great date place and it's also a fabulous party location. Valet for your car to avoid the street parking craziness.

Yelp
New menu started recently but some of the best options are included. I always have a Lemon-drop martini wherever I go and this one was spot on - not sweet or sour. The stars of the night were the tuna - fresh and fabulous flavors! The Artichoke apps with goatcheese were A++. The mac and cheese- well it sounds and looks amazing (sorry pic didn't come thru) but the gnocchi were heavy and thick and pasty. I was disappointed! Swordfish special encrusted with shrimp was unique and the fish was wonderful but I'm not sure the encrusted part added much to the dish. Choco cake and the sticky cake were delicious! Service was Spectacular!!!! I love the atmosphere but do not sit near the front windows in the winter - its already cold and when the door opens just forget it. Ppl had coats on.

Yelp
We were gifted a pairing dinner for Christmas, a wonderful gift. I did NOT expect to leave hungry, thirsty and 100% sober after a dinner that was $125 EACH. They didn't have the food that was promised-made substitutions, 2 of us have Gluten allergies and we told them a week ahead of time and they said that wouldn't be a problem..it wasn't, they didn't give us that food and had no desserts for us. 11 people attended. The pour for each pairing was 10% of the glass, and they left each bottle with 25% left and didn't offer more. Mike, the 'wine expert' said a few words about the wine but 2 he had only tried a few days ago! No one greeted us, and the portions were miniscule. My wife gave me 2 of the 5 and I still was hungry, only one person, a little old lady was full. A few even complained the glasses were barely a tasting! Honestly, I went and bought an extra drink at the bar midway just to try to stay calm. I then took the extra left over bottles and poured them into everyone's glass because they left the 25% in each bottle, what were they going to do with it? Why not share it!!! So, DO NOT do this SCAM....

Yelp
The food and service were the best that we can remember experiencing in a very long time. The ambiance was very inviting but did get a bit noisy when we were seated between two loud parties. It is expensive but you do get what you pay for.

Yelp
Hands down absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are anywhere near downtown Buffalo. Made dinner reservations for anniversary and might be returning sooner than expected, amazing! Made the reservation through Open Table which was very painless. Requested to sit outdoors but because it had recently rained only the inside was available for seating. I have seen their outdoor dining and definitely would suggest it if you had the opportunity. For appetizers we got the Gnocchi Mac and Cheese and I am not kidding in the least when I say it might have been my favorite appetizer in Buffalo. The only regret I have about ordering it is that we decided to split it and not get our own! Main course had Pecan Crusted Salmon which was also the greatest fish dish I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and the Honey Beurre Blanc added an amazing flavor and the perfect glaze. 100% suggest this dish if you like Salmon in the least bit. The Warm Toffee Cake was the perfect dessert to end the night with toffee cake drowning in a house-made caramel sauce and powdered sugar lightly added on top. The caramel sauce was hot too so it made for the perfect combination with the cake. Our waiter was very polite and apologized multiple times for a wait on our drinks which we didn't even notice at all because it was our first time being out in a while so we were just soaking it all in! Great service, amazing food and a good atmosphere. A no doubter in my book.
