Good...|Nice room, friendly and welcoming staff.|Not so good....|Average breakfast and having to choose the night before. Also the rooms outside the main hotel with too many steps, exhausting having to go up and down each morning. Nothing around the hotel to see or do, literally have to catch the bus to Amalfi for shops and restaurants. Although there was a nice little place to eat down the road which was nice and affordable, but that's all. All in all a decent stay but would not return.

If you book this place, most ratings refer to the Albergo Dipinto with 4 stars, not to the Albergo Diffuso with 3 stars. The Diffuso is located on the street below and you have to walk the whole serpentine up to BaccoFurore for breakfast and anything else. Once you get used to it is fine, but can be a bit shoking at first. The accommodation itself was great, the personnel also very nice and attentive. Room service was superb. The breakfast was a dream, and the sea view incredible. There is also a resting area outside where you could enjoy the view with a book, for example. The location itself is truly a matter of taste and depends a lot on what you want to do during your stay: Hiking along the Path of the Gods or downstairs to Fiordo di Furore, and enjoy the country side on the mountains? Then go ahead. You want to explore the coast, go to Amalfi, Positano...? Then I don't recommend this location (maybe with a motorbike), the driveway is not suited for everyone, very long with lots of curves, and parking is a nightmare in the Amalfi coast. There is a good bus service to Amalfi from the accommodation, but the return journey is quite adventurous in overcrowded buses (at least it's cheap, 2.40€ per person, you need the bus with direction Agerole). If you want to explore the coast and enjoy the view, I'd rather recommend staying in Salerno and taking there a ferry.

Bacco is so beautiful inside and out. Their rooms are extremely cute and cozy. The view from our room was EXQUISITE. I cannot even begin to explain how beautiful the views are from each and every direction of the hotel. The hotel food is literally heaven on a plate with the cutest, not so little man, who takes your order and says "please" every time he gets you your dish. Simona, Maria and another staff member (I don't remember his name) were extremely helpful and made us feel like we were home. We got extremely hungry the night we checked in and the man (whose name I forgot) and all of the staff was so kind to walk all the way to our room (it was 6° and freezing) to give us some snacks and drinks. They have a bus stop right outside the hotel which will take you to Amalfi and back. We will definitely be visiting again next year. Thank you to all the staff for being so welcoming and loving. Simona asked us to come back in '26 with a baby. Lol, here's hoping.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and charming place to stay with a great view, this hotel is a great choice. I’d happily return!

We had a great experience at this restaurant during our three-night stay near our Airbnb. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. If you’re in Furore, this is a great place to dine.

EDIT: I deleted and reposted this review to remove the owner's response, which included my full name — even though it was not publicly visible in my Google profile. This kind of doxxing cannot be reported or removed otherwise. The content of my review remains unchanged. Disappointing Experience Despite the View Unfortunately, we left Bacco Furore quite disappointed. The setting is beautiful and the staff friendly, but the food and overall experience did not live up to the high prices. To secure the reservation, we had to pay a €10 deposit per person — something we understand as a no-show prevention, but still found unusual. We’ve never encountered this before, and the deposit wasn’t even deducted from the bill automatically; we had to ask for it to be considered. The asparagus and gorgonzola risotto was very good, and the vegetarian starters (artichokes and caponata) were decent. But from there, things went downhill. The presentation of dishes was careless — no garnish, no finesse — and portion sizes were wildly inconsistent. The highlight in absurdity was an aged cheese dish served with old bread, dunked in water at the table. Confusing at first, but at least it gave us a good laugh. The beef cheek was tender but completely unseasoned — we've never had something so bland. The “Gamberetti” dish was hidden beneath an overpowering smoked cheese, and the shrimp were practically invisible and tasteless. We skipped dessert and coffee and left quickly after the main courses. Hopefully, the staff picked up on our lack of enthusiasm — and the missing tip. In summary: beautiful view, kind staff, but food and value were a big letdown. We honestly cannot understand how this restaurant managed to earn a mention in the Michelin Guide. Would not recommend.

Bacco Furore Albergo Diffuso Hotel is in a small town on the side of a mountain with stunning ocean views and feels and looks like a 5 star luxury hotel. You are certainly treated that way. They make you feel like you are a VIP. We had breakfasts and dinner there and it was delicious gourmet heaven.
