The taste of these ice creams is unique and cannot be found anywhere else. Definitely worth trying at least once when visiting to Ho Chi Minh City.

I visited Kem Bach Dang Ice Ceam in Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam on July 14, 2025 they are Very welcoming and accommodating staff ordered Coconut Ice Ceam 2 scoops one coconut flavor the other durian flavor, and Bach Dang Ice Cream 2 scoops one coconut flavor the other durian flavor. The Ice Cream are delicious and tasty and fresh and portion sizes also great. The service is wonderful. I thank all the Ice Cream store workers for good treatment and service and their interest in providing the best they have. I recommend trying and visiting.

Dropped by for a sweet treat as we were walking around the area and craving for ice cream. Not too impressed by their ice cream and quite mediocre to be honest. Also, quite pricey per local standards. Nothing amazing, but then again quality ice cream and gelato are quite hard to come by in HCMC, so can't set your expectations too high!

115.000 for this Taro ice cream. Taste and texture is off. I mean look at the colour on it, it’s pale!!!! Flavour options are very limited too. Wouldn’t recommend

Just to have a rest and kill the heat, it is convenient place to do it. Ice cream nothing to shout about. Price is acceptable.

Apr 2025: called this the “Apple” store because of the shape of the entrance being in an apple shape. Feel that the desserts were actually quite pricey for Vietnam standard. Had the one in the coconut shell and it was ok for the experience.

We ordered here while waiting for the rain to stop. While we were sitting and waiting for our food to arrive, a male staff member approached us looking very angry. According to my wife, he was saying something in Vietnamese, angrily, telling us that we should give up our seats to other customers if we weren’t going to order. It was a very unpleasant experience. The staff member immediately assumed we weren’t customers instead of simply asking, which was extremely impolite and disrespectful. There was no courtesy or basic manners at all. Sadly, many, though not all, restaurants here in Vietnam tend to act this way, regardless of whether they are fine dining establishments or not. Anyway, before coming to this place for ice cream, consider going to a convenience store instead, you’ll get a cheaper price. Or better yet, read some of the negative reviews first. Personally, I do not recommend this store.
