Bacini's Pizzeria & Deli

The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the olives and capers in the grilled calamari starter, it gave the character. I had the chicken with Parmesan fries and the tomato used tasted very fresh and the meal was delicious. The lemongrass crème brûlée was the perfect portion size and it did not feel heavy at all. Service was nothing special but didn’t take away from the overall experience. Will definitely visit again

Come here for the last like 20+ years when I am in the city. Have been here today as well. Ordered a Tropical Pizza with extra Pineapple (extra 38R). From the last times I ordered that, I know that that just wasn't extra pinapple that I paid for. I asked the service, but they said it was already extra pinapple on the pizza. Pizza tasted good though. Service was fast when the waiter was there, but he just was always somewhere else when we wanted something (extra drinks, bill...). Service was better in the past.

Had the mushroom arancini zucchini fritters. Both were really great :) had an amazing dip which I mixed and matched so can’t really comment on it here. Take away - took 24min :) (peak time though)

This is authentic italian. A very large menu to satisfy any food craving. High quality food very tasty, the vibe inside the restaurant is both calm and friendly yet cheerful. Good service and i would recommend a spot in. Perfect for more formal family dinners as well as relaxed times.

we came two of our 4 nights in Cape Town because the food and service and atmosphere was just that good! plentiful options for my vegetarian friend as well as delectable options for me as a meat lover. our first night we shared a gorgeous local shiraz while our wonderfully warm and attentive server Lingi helped her customize her margherita pizza with wild rocket and pecorino, while he steered me towards the penne vodka with burrata (a pasta lovers dream!). we also split a tiramisu which was not too sweet, but perfectly decadent. tonight (a Wednesday) was a bit more busy but we had a wonderful time with our server Lidy, who helped us with an order of the perfectly crisp zucchini fries (which come with an amazing herb-y aioli/dipping sauce), a bottle of pinotage (First Lady) and tonight I tried their mushroom gnocchi which were light and crisped but generously garnished with sautéed mushrooms of different varieties. however the penne definitely holds my heart! a really inviting and warm restaurant for anyone craving Italian in Cape Town.

Food was delicious! The pizza and pasta are out of this world. The microgreens were fresh and serving size was perfect. The staff were very friendly, extremely diligent and handled our special request with grace (splitting the pasta into two bowls). Would definitely come back here!

Great local pizza plus restaurant. Food is top Cape Town quality. My grilled calamari was really superb. Good choice of drinks and comfortable, casual atmosphere. With sport on TV, not too intrusive, in case you want to avoid that.

This is one of those legendary places, known for consistency and authenticity. Let’s face it, Italians do pizza and pasta like no other so I highly recommend any of the pizzas (vegetarian my favourite) or pasta. My family loves the ragout served with fat, ribbon pasta. Their breakfasts are excellent too…Bacini’s must feature on your culinary excursion Bucket List.
