We did the sunset safari in the grand Tetons National Park yesterday and we had the most amazing time. Our guide Mike was phenomenal, top notch! We saw buffalo, elk, moose, pronghorn antelope, and a yearling black bear! The charcuterie board was also delicious and beautifully curated. Highly recommend!!!!

Colin, our guide, was an incredible source of information about the Grand Tetons and the wildlife/plants/topography. He took us to spots only experienced guides knew about. Very passionate about GNP and the outdoors. Very patient and we lucked out as the three of us had our own private tour. Highly recommend the sunset tour by BackCountry Safaris.

We recently took a Jeep safari tour to the Temple of the Sun and Moon in Utah's Cathedral Valley, it was a good change of pace from our hiking . From the beginning the off road journey was thrilling, rugged trails, sweeping desert landscapes. Our guide was knowledgeable and full of fascinating stories about the geology and history of the area. When we arrived at the Temple of the Sun and Moon, the views were gorgeous. These towering monoliths rise out of the desert like something from another plant. The Jeep safari allowed us to reach remote parts of Capital reef that are otherwise hard to access. Tip: bring plenty of water, a camera and prepare for a bumpy ride. Go when temperatures are milder

Justin, our guide, was a wealth of information and very personable. He took us to spots that we wouldn’t have known about if we just toured the park on our own. We saw a black bear, a moose, bison, pronghorns, deer and coyote. Would recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing the wildlife in and around Grand Teton National Park.

Tiffany was an excellent guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very passionate about her work which translated into a wonderful guest experience.

Had the best experience snowmobiling around a huge ranch and my first time going up and down a Mountain! Our tour guide Casey was very personable helpful, and truly made you feel safe and confident for the challenge and journey. Unbelievable day!

We booked 3 trips with Backcountry - Yellowstone lower loop, Yellowstone upper loop and ATV. Our guides, Mike, Toni and Matteo, were excellent! I would highly recommend Backcountry and each of these guides. They knew exactly where/when to get us through the parks efficiently. We saw so many incredible landmarks on the lower tour and an incredible array of wildlife on the upper tour. The scenery and excitement on the ATV tour with Matteo was just what we needed after a few long days in Yellowstone. I highly recommend and thank all of these folks for showing us an incredible time. Well worth the money to get a guided tour! Thanks!

Backcountry Safaris was the company that the hotel we were staying at in Jackson uses for it's tours of both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. I take picking out tours very seriously, because I hate taking them. I'm one of those people who likes to do things themselves, make my own itinerary, and being on a tour means other people dictate what I want to see. I did a lot of research and found a company I liked. However, the price was a bit outrageous and when I saw my hotel offering the same tour, with pick up from the hotel, not the middle of town, I took a chance. Well, that chance paid off really well because we had a fantastic time. Backcountry Safaris will sometimes use other companies because of demand and we actually were paired with Gus from Teton Wilderness Tours. If this happens to you, don't fret. It was amazing and I will cherish the memories we made with this day for years to come. We did the half day, sunrise Grand Teton Tour. We were the only ones on the tour that day so it felt very exclusive and it was like we paid for a private tour. Gus did everything he could to get us to see wildlife. We got some great shots of moose and we even saw 3, yes 3(!), bald eagles. We also learned a lot about the area and it's history. Highly recommend!

Mateo took us out today for a side by side excursion. What a fun time with a young guy who is so knowledgeable! Cool guy and amazing countryside! We look forward to coming back in the winter to have him tour us via snow mobiles! Until next time, Jackson Hole!

Backcountry Safari is without a doubt the most outstanding tour company I have ever selected! They are well rounded in all your tours from Yellowstone and grand Teton tours to snowmobiling in the Back Country of Jackson, Wyoming! Their prices are competitive, and the service is spectacularly outstanding! For the first time in my life, I got to experience snowmobiling in Jackson with Backcountry's tour guide Matteo! Matteo was absolutely incredible! He was knowledgeable and made everyone on the tour comfortable. It was so cool to feel what it's like to snowmobile! I've never experienced anything like it. We even got to see some wildlife on our tour! Matteo picked us up in the lobby of the hotel we were staying at. Shout out to Molly for recommending the Virginian Lodge in Jackson hole! When I tell you the three days that we spent in Jackson hole meant so much to us it feels like an understatement. This was so special and I think BackCountry safaris so much for helping us make a wonderful and memorable vacation. I couldn't recommend this tour company anymore, but I absolutely will try! What a terrific tour of Yellowstone. Nick picked us up right at hotel and was knowledgeable, laid back and funny! Highly recommend the tour for a family (we had an 8 year old who loved it) with Nick!
