A great place to visit. Great food options, well made with quality ingredients. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great outdoors patio. Big place so it can get loud. Dessert options look wonderful, but so far I haven't made it to dessert, food is just too good.

Pizza has fresh ingredients, not canned mushrooms as other pizza places. Service was good and the place has a family atmosphere. Surround TVs if sports is for you. Plenty of parking, pizza hot out the oven and delicious. Also have fried fish and shrimp which was awesome. Great selection menu.

It’s “meh” personified. Pizza was burnt. Red Velvet Cake was stale but my girlfriend still enjoyed it. Took awhile to get our food but maybe that’s because they were burning our pizza. Other than that the prices are outstanding. Great place to take a bunch of kids who don’t care about quality pizza pies. All in all, Service was nice, food was blah.

It’s been years since we’ve been to Backdoor Pizza but we’re excited to go! The new building is great!! It’s COLD (take a jacket) and it’s loud in there because there is nothing to absorb sound. The Pizza is still amazing!! Great crust, great flavors! The Pizza is a solid 10/10. We also tried the fried pickles. Not a fan of them. Need better quality pickles and a good batter. These were too thick and flavor was ok. We went back this week for burgers as well. The burgers look great. The bacon is spot on for the Bacon Cheeseburger. Veggies were good, but need better pickles with a snap. The burgers look great patties were a bit dry and heavy on the pepper in the meat flavor profile. The buns were amazing though. One of our group had the lasagna and said it had good flavor, just needed to be hotter temp wise.

The Waller High School Tennis team hosted a tournament with another team from Louisiana. After the tournament we brought all players (41 players, 6 coaches) from both teams (pre-booked) to enjoy each other's company. The customer service at Backdoor was excellent and they were very pleasant towards every player, coach and family member there. The food was brought out in a timely manner even after we devoured the first three pizzas and had to order more. The waiting period was not long between the orders. Most importantly, the food was delicious every single slice. One-hundred stars goes out to the owner and staff members. JOB WELL DONE! A quote from the other coach, "If I lived here, this is where I would bring my players every time." Overall good pizza place. Our pepperoni lover wasn’t as crazy about his pizza, but I really liked the Brooklyn. Salad was very good too.

UPDATE REVIEW: This place continues to disappoint me. i will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone. the only reason this place is always full is because it’s the only place in the area. i disputed the cost for my $7.55 MILK and nearly a month later they charged me again for it. this place should shut down i ordered an iced coffee to go and waited a while for it to be ready and was running late for work. when i got to my car i noticed there was no coffee in my drink. i just received a cup of milk. I paid over $6 for a cup of milk. i also asked for a vanilla late and they drizzled caramel in it so the entire order was wrong. i called immediately to ask for a refund and the girl on the phone said she needed to get it authorized by the manager. i still have not received my refund for this. Awful food and awful customer service

We love this pizza place, the cheese pizza and chef salad are on point! Food, atmosphere and family friendly!!!

This restaurant is an absolute must. The food is incredible and the service is superb. I also recommend that you participate in the Thursday's steak special. Truly an awarding experience.

The best neighborhood place in Waller by far. From steak night on Thursdays to their wings, pizza and calzones you can't go wrong. Tyler runs the place with care and love. Also don't forget to get your Bourbon fix. Awesome selection.

On the pricey side, in my opinion! Our first and only time we visited was nothing more than okay! We ordered the 3 item appetizer, it came with 2 little plastic cups of ranch. We asked the guy that was doing a little bit of everything and was told we would need to purchase them! Okay, I'm not cheap but if I pay almost $30 for an appetizer, I don't expect to pay per dipping sauce!! BYO Ranch dressing!

Ordered Togo on a Friday night, which it was busy! But only took about 20 mins. The staff was very friendly and the food was really good! All seemed very fresh! The fries were definitely fresh cut and fried they were so good! And the pizzas are huge! Will be back!

I am so very impressed with this restaurant. I have eaten here 4 days this week for lunch, i have gotten their lunch special each day and they keep on impressing me. Everything has been great, the deal is about 11 dollars for entree, fries and drink and the food is impeccable. The club sandwich is the best i have had in 10 years. I would absolutely recommend them. The inside is very nice, its well kept and everything is new, the smells are great. The people are all very busy and yet still so kind and helpful. If you are in the area i would highly suggest stopping in for lunch or dinner. Im gonna try their fish tomorrow and pizza another day. But holy moly, this place is top notch. What a gem.

The customer service was amazing, and I have to say the Greek salad dressing and the brownie were both really delicious! I wasn't the biggest fan of the fish seasoning, but I really appreciated how crispy the fish was--honestly, I've never had fish that crispy before. If they added just a bit more seasoning, it could easily be perfect. As for the fries, I think they just didn't travel well--mine were a bit soggy, but that's pretty common with takeout. Store was clean and free of odors

Wow! What a hidden gem - found this location while on business, pizza was hot and fresh and what an assortment of desserts! Definitely plan on going back next time I'm in town. Service was very friendly which is always a plus!

When your hungry, try this 40" pizza! The wings are wonderful also. Service was great!

Oh my gosh. What a hidden treasure. We picked this up for my sister in law who lives in Hockley, and it did not disappoint. Super friendly staff and you could feel the camaraderie.

Food - 10/10 This is always great food. The pizza is our go to choice for plenty of reasons. It's always made fresh, the ingredients are top quality, and it's consistent. Service - 10/10 Always great service. Never had a problem with the people who work there. They know what they're doing and they treat their customers well. Can't say enough good things about them. Ambiance - 8/10 I only deduct because it's loud in their new location. It's all concrete and hard spaces. It gets very loud when they get busy. I don't have to worry too much though because we always get our pizzas to go. Please check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Service is great here! Food was delicious. We had a vodka sauce pasta as well as a large pizza half the bronx and half Hawaiian. Tasted very fresh and very flavorful. Can't wait to try the other things they offer. Only reason I'm giving it 4 starts is because the deserts tasted and felt days old. I bought a brownie and a cannoli and both of them were not good. I had high hopes for them . I wish I would've gotten fresh ones. But overall pretty good place. *Picture of pizza and pasta were not included since they were quickly devoured lol

The pizza crust was great, the whole pizza was an experience ,checkout was fast not much wait time , Inside the restaurant , it was clean & loved the minimalist decor ,good vibe .

Idk where they get that I was aggressive or calling their employees liars?? Other than we saw a worker try their hardest to take the cake out. Not everyone will like your restaurant or food but OK..one less customer I'm sure y'all won't loose much. I somehow pushed a button even though I was just being as honest as I could be about the food. Place had lots of seating and staff wasn't bad. Now on to the food. From all I've seen and people commenting online we finally decided to stop by. The pizza is honestly over hyped. There was no flavor to it, it's just basic pizza.Even after adding tons of cheese and tabasco that didn't help. I've never had cannoli so I said EH! I'll try it why not. Are the shells supposed to be chewy,stale and hard to pull apart? The inside was not good either. The baklava was not overly sweet but not enough to be worth the buy. The chocolate cake was dry but I should've realized it would be after the girl at the counter tried to remove the piece from rest of the cake. It looked so dry that when she tried to take the slice out we were gasping waiting for that cake to go flying. Unfortunately it all went to the trash since nobody at home decided to eat it. Husband had a muffaletta which I forgot to take a pic of but he said it was bad. He took most of it home and same it went to the trash.

Backdoor Pizzeria is absolutely fantastic, we eat here at least once or twice a week. The pizza never disappoints, we love the salads, wings, desserts and the service is always great.

We are in Waller, Tx and so thankful to find a place that has amazing food and a variety of items to choose from! We love the burgers but my favorite may be the desserts! Their pizza is very good as well. They are always busy but service is fast and you can order online too. I have not dined in but looks to be a roomy with enough seating.

The service is always amazing at Backdoor. I've been going to Backdoor since we moved out here years and years ago. Since they moved there service, food quality and the overall experience has improved significantly. Now they have -a full bar -house of pie's dessert -delivery service -larger selection of food -sports tvs in the dining room Back door is our equivalent of Cheers or The Perk. See you there.

I highly recommend this place. The pizza is very tasty and the calamari is tender, like it should be. Not like chewing a rubber band. The Stromboli calzone was phenomenal! All the ingredients were cooked to perfection. The staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. Someday I would love to try the 30 inch party pizza or maybe the 40 inch party pizza. My wife had the mushroom Swiss burger. She loved it! Their desserts are delicious too. My only complaint is, not enough garlic in the sauce but, to each his own. Try it, you'll love it!

Aside from the to go order pick up process, everything was great. They need a different line for pick up orders. I had to wait in a long line to pick up my order that was already ready. By the time I got it - it was cold. Other than that, everything was amazing!

As a life long yelper (my fully realized life at least) I didn't bring our group here night one of our travel baseball tournament. This was based upon the photos and website not making it clear they had a great new location with a full bar and tons of TV's. It was clear the food was great but I wasn't sure about atmosphere and us parents were looking for a fun place to hang and have drinks. On Sunday we decided to come eat some great food between games and boy was I surprised. Turns out the older photos of the little basic house/building/dinning area has been upgraded to a new building basically across the street. They have everything and it is by far the best option for a nice meal, drinks and place to hang in Waller. Great spot, staff, food, recommend...

Service is 5 stars. Food quality is 5 stars. Haydee is the best pay that woman! Keep it up backdoor!

The name says it all . This place is a hidden gem in the Houston/Cypress area. They recently opened their new location right around the corner from their original spot . EVERYTHING here is delicious! Their pizza is the best ! The crust is so light and crisp and offer so many toppings . Highly recommended !

Backdoor Pizza has been one of our favorite hole in the wall pizza joints for years. They have recently moved into a new space and are obviously having growing pains. I'm hoping that this review helps to correct two of the things I found in my last few visits. The crust is still handmade and delicious. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, but the sauce has no flavor. It seems to be a simple marinara with no Italian herb seasoning whatsoever. I also wonder if they are having trouble with the pizza ovens as the pizzas have been overly toasted on the bottom and raw on the top. Please fix this soon! We miss my backdoor pizza!

First timer and food was pretty good. I got the fried pickle chips and they came with marinara for appetizer. They were able to do a custom order for me as I asked for "Hot lemon pepper" wings and they were amazing. The customer services was good the people were friendly. The only thing I wished that the food was a bit hotter but that could be personal preference as I prefer my food piping hot lol I will for sure be back.

Was not that impressed with the pizza. After all the hype that was given I thought it was going to be better than it was.

If I based my rating on food alone then I would have given 5 stars. I enjoyed the food but the man installing a metal bracket to hang a tv created a disturbance. The loud screeching noise from drilling into the metal supports was like someone scraping their fingernails on a chalkboard. It disturbed everyone in my party and noticeably disturbed other customers. In addition, he was on a ladder drilling metal right above the dessert counter. Please consider doing future maintenance work before the restaurant opens or wait until after closing. I'm sure that I will return to this restaurant and hope the atmosphere will be less noisy.

For me it's a no. We walked in and immediately noticed the floors were very dirty. I looked past it thinking maybe it was just the lunch rush. We were greeted by the girl behind the counter to place our order. She was nice enough and helped us choose what we wanted since this was the first time here. This is where it went down hill. We ordered two salads, one house salad and the other Cesar. Bbq wings and a 16 inch pizza. You get a cup for your drink and use the fountain yourself. That counter was disgusting. They should have someone cleaning it every hour or something. It was sticky and gross. We settled at a table and that was not that clean. Crumbs and dirt all over the floors. We get our salads. My husband like the Cesar and my salad was gross. The dressing was not good and the lettuce didn't taste fresh. While we were eating that, the pizza came out. It was soggy and flavorless. Never have we turned down bring home the pizza. We left half a pie, it was that bad. Then they brought our wings out 45 mins later. We had to check on them twice. I think they forgot and tried to tell us they had a big order. Right. The place was pretty empty when we got there. The wings were the best part of the meal. They were tasty and crunchy. That's why they get the two stars...The wings shouldn't be better than the pizza at a pizzeria. Would I try them again? No way.

We arrived at lunch today. Order a small pizza. We were told pizzas would be a 30-35 minute wait. Ok. When our pizza arrived, it had minimal cheese and was cold. Literally COLD. Why wait 30 minutes for a cold pizza? Makes no sense.

Absolutely love this restaurant! The owners are extremely friendly and act as if you are family. Tyler is the best! The pizza is phenomenal, the buffalo ranch fries are just as good, calzones, wings, everything! If you want somewhere good to eat go here!!

Love the new place, food is great with high quality ingredients. Fries fresh from real potatoes not frozen. Staff is busting to take care of folks. Just wish they a public WiFi available for guests to use.

Food was good. Cheesecake is Yum Yum The service is kind of good, but it has kind of long wait times for your food, but the servers are pretty nice.

I recently discovered this pizzeria. I had just stopped by for the first time to check it out, but then noticed their dessert selection so I skipped dinner and went straight for the brownie. 10/10 would recommend, could NOT stop eating once I took that first bite. Also, the building had a specific look to it that just caught my eye immediately when walking in. The woman that was behind the counter gave me the selections of desserts, she was very helpful showing me all of the different foods and desserts they had to offer, I asked for her name, I believe it was Haylie. Thank you Haylie, and thank you backdoor pizza! Amazing experience.

First timers from out of town and the food here is delicious! We ordered The Bronx pizza and a Meatball parmigiana sub. The restaurant was really busy and wait time was as expected for our food.

I drove from 99/cypress to try out what my locals called the best pizza. The Brooklyn pizza was the bomb. I hilariously visited Jimbo's next door by mistake but they identified real quick I was looking for Backdoor. If you have a few extra minutes to wait on your pizza pick up, I totally recommend grabbing a beer at the neighbor. My small pizza stayed hot all the 13 minute drive back to cypress.

Coming from an Italian family who usually makes homemade pizza, this is the best option for pizza when we don't feel like cooking. The pizza is amazing, the chicken Alfredo is good but nothing special, and their wings are good (ask them for extra crispy). Love the owners too And they just upgraded to a new building (haven't visited it yet) but they deserved a nicer place so I'm glad they made that change. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you, they don't really service on you, you fill your own drinks etc. I loooove this place though.

Friendly service, they treat you like family as soon as you walk in their doors. Great pizza! I love their pepperoni pizza but also felt they serve the best cheese pizza I have had in my life. Can't wait to try more on their menu.

It was my first time trying Backdoor Pizzeria. Pizza was ok, ambience was not to inviting for me the short time spent there inside, ordered my pizza to go. Service was not rude, but hurried.

This place hits the spot. Not only does their pizza get the job done, they've got a lot more on the menu. You'd think that a place that has additional food items on the menu in addition to being a pizza joint would be mediocre but not here. First off the my go to pizzas are the Brooklyn and the Bronx. Get up on some of that. If your not in the mood for pizza, try the Manhattan calzone. That's super tasty and reminds me of when I lived in New York. Not in the mood for marinara, get up on some of their wings. They can stand tall next to any wing joint around. This family owned restaurant does it right and they put pride into the food they make. Prices are good and they always have sports/news on the tv in the dining area. One day I will try their super large pizza and get my name on the wall.
