The hostel offers a city card that lets you ride local buses for free and gives discounts on some tour companies. It’s within walking distance of the train station — just follow the lake path. There’s also a supermarket nearby, and another one inside the train station. Check-in time 5 PM, but if you arrive early, there are secure lockers and a locked luggage are available. The building has an elevator, and the bathrooms, showers, and kitchen are all very clean. The common lounge is comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay — highly recommended!

Great hidden gem at Luzern! Friendly staff and easy checkin. I was a solo traveler and felt safe. Even the kitchen and hall space was accomodating. Washrooms were squeaky clean. View of the mountains and lake just across from the hostel outside. Bus stop was located near by to go the station. Very comfortable for day trips around!

Great rooms Yes to the beds! Had a private room with my friend. 2 separate beds. The room was good. Not very clean (some things under the bed, etc.), but good. Smell in the room. But when you were there for a bit, it was okay. Showers were good if you were first; you had a clean shower. If more went, it was yuk! (Clean up after yourself!) location: 10-15 min walk to a bus station. Not in the centre, but price-wise good! Free tea, free wifi in Lucerne, bad towels 1 frank. Free use of shared kitchen

Wow! Great quality hostel here in Lucerne. Quiet, safe & cozy. Perfect for us. Very comfortable and a good vibe. I am impressed. Child-friendly too.

Easy check-in, all public areas were sparkling clean! Good-quality bed, modern room with amazing balcony with a view to the lovely autumn trees in the park by the lakeside, no breakfast but there's a full kitchen, large and cozy lounge area, guest ticket for buses (around 5 mins walk to the bus stop to get to the center). Lockers to store luggage after check-out are also available. Would definitely return!

Very beautiful hostel. The best I have ever been. Comfortable beds and great kitchen area. Individual toilet and bath on floor. Perfect for travelling. Also, want to mention location is close to bus station

It is hostel. It was clean. It is about 20-25 mins walk from the train station. You can take a bus to get closer but you still have to walk. They do give you a bus pass ahead of time. The kitchen was helpful to save money from eating out. There are pot and pan for cooking. There are plates, bowls, and utensils. There are dinning area, couches, games, and WiFi. The shower did clogged up. There are individual showers and bathrooms. Yes, you have to make your own bed but that is all the hostels.

I loved my stay in this hostel! Although I only stayed one night, I wish I could've stayed longer. The location is next to a lovely park including a beach on the lake. My room included a balcony with a table and chairs, as well as a personal fan for my (very spacious) bed! There was also hangers and a plug in my personal locker inside the room which was very smart. Lastly, the bathrooms were very clean, private, and well-maintained. I noticed, too, there were lots of storage options outside of the dorm hallways and areas to relax. I couldn't have been happier with my stay, this was definitely one of the best - if not the best - hostel experiences I've had!

Great independent hostel, friendly and welcoming. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Quick bus ride from the train station, and transit is free with a card they email before checkin. It's a very short walk to a nice park along the lake, and a nice walk to the city center as well. Lots of useful info on things to see. The setup of the common area is great: meandering around between two kitchens, with lots of types of spaces. There's a kids corner with some toys, and a foosball table.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights while in Luzern. It was about a 10-15 min walk from the main train station and downtown area. Most importantly, it was right next to a beach area, a great spot to people watch and see the boats go by. The staff was very friendly and accommodative, and we were impressed with the facilities. The kitchen area was stocked with everything you might need and there was a lot of lounge space on the main level. There were little seating areas by the staircases on each floor and plenty of bathrooms to go around. I saw some people hanging out in the evenings, but it was certainly quiet in the later hours, perfect if you're trying to get your sleep! Everything seemed to be clean and well taken care of. I highly recommend renting the paddle boards from the hostel, as they rented them out at a very discounted rate. I would stay here again if I was in the area!

Right on the lake and so close to Luzern station, A cheap price and clean facilities, for what else are you waitin'?! No towels or breakfast: some quick tips for you. But there's a bakery nearby for a bite of food! The lady up front was nice and helpful, but the other guests were rather loud. Still, this place's a great deal, and convenient too- try it if you're around!
