I booked the backstage breakfast for four people to celebrate my birthday. One day before the visit, I suddenly received a message saying the reservation was for two people. When I contacted the hotel, they told me they couldn’t help at all and the communication was surprisingly rude and dismissive. The hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast is genuinely great — but the management completely ruins the experience. Poor handling of reservations, zero customer focus, and an unpleasant attitude. On your birthday, you expect at least basic respect. Very disappointing.

Our experience at the Backstage Hotel was absolutely first rate. All of their staff were super friendly and helpful. Ms. Galit Ilan, the manager, along with Roy, Ksenia, and others warmly welcomed us and assisted us with our questions. The hotel's location is ideal to Tel Aviv's fabulous beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. Our suite (room 501) was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was a treat; we were tempted to sit for hours with the delicious spread. The Backstage Hotel receives our highest recommendation!

We had a great experience in this beautifuly designed hotel. We were offered a room in the lobby floor and when we realized it's right next to the dining room they made an exceptional effort to change rooms to a room in the first floor. The room was small but it didn't bother us as we stayed only for one night and didn't carry a lot. The massage was great, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was one of the best we had. The photo booth was a nice extra. The location is splendid - we travelled via public transportation and walked on foot in the city center.

Backstage Hotel is in a perfect central location — you can walk almost anywhere in Tel Aviv. The rooms are small, but really cozy and well designed. The service is excellent; everyone is super friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the happy hour between 4 and 6 — it’s a great touch and makes the stay feel special.

overall had a really great experience. The hotel is excellent — very clean, organized, and well-maintained.||The only issue we encountered was with breakfast. When we checked in, we were asked to choose a time slot since the restaurant is very popular and also serves guests from outside the hotel. We chose 9:30 AM.||The next morning we arrived exactly at 9:30, but ended up waiting 35 minutes to be seated. According to the host, about 20 guests arrived at times different from their reservations, which caused delays — but still, waiting that long for breakfast is really unreasonable.||Other than that, the stay was great.

The weirdest hotel I've ever been to. It's not accessible so be aware of that. It felt crowded everywhere especially in the dining area. The most annoying shower head I've ever used, shower room is very sultry, no ventilation. Food in breakfast and happy hour was average. Great location

Amazing! Every bit of the vacation was perfect. We even lost our cork to close the bottle of wine and they got us another one. So dedicated.|The breakfast is perfect.|The room was great, we took the duplex (which is not that expensive and definitely worth the extra money)|The best hotel I've been in in a while.|Also very well decorated, homey staff, cool theme.

The hotel is beautiful, with spotless rooms and excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, the policy requiring guests to pre-book breakfast times at check-in - something not mentioned during booking - caused unnecessary stress. We nearly had to eat at 8:30 on our weekend vacation, and only after insisting were moved to 10:30. Other guests faced the same issue, creating a poor first impression. Even with reservations, people had to wait to be seated, and without late check-out, the 10:30 slot would have meant checking out before breakfast. Aside from these breakfast problems, the stay was superb - but such policies feel out of place for a hotel at this price.
